The underground parking make this location convenient to shop at. Without it I would never shop here, street parking is a pain in the rear in this neighborhood.This store is a little off leer, could use an update. But it does carry lots of stuff for the home. I prefer to shop online and have it pick up few hours later. Much easier.

I don’t get why people always lose their common sense when entering a small format Target near a university. Especially while we’re only just a couple days away from us students going back to school. It’s completely obvious that these Targets won’t be fully stocked like they would at a larger location. And the store closing at 9pm is EXTREMELY reasonable for the location that it’s in. It’s also only one hour less than what a regular Target closes at. Geez.

The employees are nice and quite quick when checking you out, but the store is often understocked. I get that it's hard to keep a store directly across from a college stocked but it is a bit disappointing being unable to find things on my grocery list.The store is clean, well organized, and smells great thanks to the Starbucks in the front of the store. If they hired some more stocking staff and/or found a way to keep the store better stocked it would easily be a 5-star rating.

Get out of Chicago Target! Your hours suck! 9pm!?! ....plus I get followed around like a fugitive while I'm shopping, I might as well go to Walmart where it just feels like I'm surrounded by fugitives...and spend less money.Your online prices are often less than what's in your stores....I find this deceptive.....A Department store closed at 9PM in a major city?!?!How about you just close for good?You bring nothing special to Chicago. I feel uncomfortable at your stores, as if I'm being watched like Im a dangerous convict.

The employees here are always great and even though I will occasionally have to go to a larger location, I'm always thankful that this location is only a few minutes walk from my place!

This place should not even have the right to be called a Target. It's more like a somewhat large convenience store. And the website does not make it clear but this is clearly an Express Target.

DONT BUY ANY ELECTRONICS from target especially from this store.I bought a appple watch series 8 from this store and it seems little different from original watch and after checking that watch in Apple Store I got to know that it’s fake so I went back and returned it. It’s completely waste of time better to go to best buy or an Apple Store.

Extremely Horrible and rudely run target from the part timers to management. If you have a family avoid this location. If you absolutely have to shop there I highly suggest just go in make your purchase and get out.

Really small target. They just have the very min stuff imo. Need a bigger dollar aisle. The place is really clean though, and there is a Starbucks inside if you wanna have coffee or something. Most of the staff also seemed nice. There is parking underground, so that is convenient.

This Target is really small, so there isn't much selection compared to the larger location on Peterson. I suppose this is convenient for the Loyola kids, but I was unable to find most of what I needed at this location. If you're looking to take care of all your shopping in a single location, I would say this isn't the one. The staff is all really nice, so 5 stars to them.

You know what? Aldi's is under construction. The apartment dryer ate my kids shorts and a last minute stop here to replace them was pretty convenient. I bought tortillas, hot sauce, and minute rice. Dinner is figured out. And I want a box of pancake mix; yeah, they carry that too. I mean, I could've gone to Devon Market and gotten my food shopping done there but that's ten minutes waiting for the bus and then lots of perusing for odds and ends (another 30 minutes). After an 8 hour shift of walking maybe the ten minutes it takes me to get home from Target looks very appealing. Sometimes the meat goes on sale too. I mean, it's not like a lot of these college kids are cooking full on meals for a family right? So family size meat gets discounted for quick sale. Store is aimed to please the school crowd...give 'em a while to figure out the inventory. As long as my husband doesn't have to move the car late night and I don't have to get stabbed on the El, I'm a happy camper.

The stores are always lean and neat. They are well lit and merchandise is and clean. Especially this particular location is great. I highly recommend this place and staff is friendly in answering all the questions and re routing to right aisle for the product we are looking for.

Venturing into Target always reminds me why I opt to shop online. I had so many "Red shirts" up my bum, I thought I'd need a proctologist. I get it. People steal. But if you're only going to monitor one type of person, you're not preventing loss. You're looking for a lawsuit.

Anyone else have to go through 3+ cards to find one which works in this locations dirty/broken card readers. Get a red card they said. You'll save 5% they said. Then they say, "you have to use a different card if you have insuffiecient funds" loud enough for everyone to hear without actually checking if their machines arent functioning. Think ill go back to using my cards elsewhere. This location has a horrible and unreliable selection anyway.

Tooooooo small for the location. Definitely not structure conveniently. There’s ONE line for returns exchange and check out! The line was wrapped around an aisle & i just wanted to return something that take at least five mins. Parking lot doesn’t make sense for the entrance as well, very tight spots. I didn’t even return what I need too. I had to go a couple miles up to a different target.

Just stopped in for a quick buy, self checkout, paid with a $20 for a $4 item, machine spits out $12 change due. First employee was awesome, quickly got a supervisor, said "So sorry bout that". Next employee was not just unfriendly but took about 15 mins. to sort things out, after me asking and she stating it would take just a minute to open the machine. No apologies, no fuss, barely gave eye contact. Won't be coming back I guess.

Not your conventional Target, more like a Target Express with lesser options-- so don't be distraught if you dont find a specialized item at this location.The staff are friendly and helpful. Very clean, well stocked and organized.The staff monitoring the self-check out area are incredibly prompt and diligent with sanitizing the checkout stations--- I personally dont care about this but if you are someone that is uptight about these arbitrary standards of COVID prevention measures, you would not be deterred from shopping here.

I was shopping on Sunday afternoon the first day at your brand new Target here, wasn't sure where certain items were located, Taylor & Lisa were very pleasant and helpful employees who went beyond just telling me politely where the items where. Taylor offered to show me the aisle an item was at, Lisa actually took me through the store to find what I was looking for. These two young people are to be commended for their work ethics. We need more workers like these young ones. The only problem was I couldn't find anymore red plates and bowls that Target usually carries.

This Target location is poorly stocked; it's often impossible to find basic items such as eggs, butter, or half-and-half. And forget about something as exotic as grape jam.

I never write reviews but I'm so happy with this neighborhood Target. It reminds me of the one in Lincoln Park. I believe that this store is exactly what one should think a neighborhood Target would be. Basic necessities with the Target feel. How can somebody expect it to carry everything that a large Target would? Lets be serious people!!! Yes, Its small. Duh! Its under an apartment building. You have the household sections, clothes, cosmetics, toiletries, cute decor stuff to grab, etc. Once again basic necessities. Saves me from having to go to Peterson for 1 thing and walking out with $300 worth of merchandise. LOL I'm happy this is a block away from my apartment, very convenient and if for whatever reason they don't have what I need then I will go to a larger Target! Easy fix. But I'm happy with this one being easily accessible. Some people will find anything to complain about these days lol

This target has made it so convenient for me to grab items I need quickly! It’s small so the selection is limited, but the closest grocery store around here is a pretty decent walk. It’s a little more on the pricey side as well, but it’s the convenience that I’m paying for. When I just need one or two things it has been so great to have around! I’m very happy this target opened!

Wow...this shopping experience is always top notch. They are taking precautions to keep us safe, by wiping down self checkouts all the time and they are pivoting when needed adjusting to the changing times, like keeping the store open while out of power. Bravo!
