Had such a fun time shopping here for my dog's first Gotcha Day! They have a great variety of plush toys in different sizes, of course many are a fun play on various luxury brands. I also picked out some clothes for my dog and a treat. The staff was very helpful and welcoming!

Very cute shop, a little smaller than I expected but they still had a lot of merchandise. The staff was very friendly and help me pick out some dog treats for my pet back at home. They definitely cater to smaller breeds so keep that in mind!

Just an absolute God send because anytime I've needed anything this cute boutique dog 🐕 shop 💕 never disappoints and has needful dog supplies and treats ❤Last week for instance we encountered a freezing cold arctic blast with sub zero temperatures and high winds. Fortunately the owners kept their store open even though it was deadly cold outside.My relatively new family member Mr. Troika is only 10 months old and still going through his baby teething phase so he bit right through his FIFTH leash yet again and was lifting up his paws 🐾 because of all the salts that were thrown on the ground to keep the ice from forming here on the pavement.I called here and asked if they had any doggie booties because Petco told me they were all sold out of extra large dog booties. Fortunately the owner here assured me they carried all sizes from xs to XL and he encouraged me to come in.We got here within the hour and even though the owner was clearly busy he helped me understand how to use the balloon 🎈 booties properly to fit my puppy's extra large paws 🐾We left with the doggie booties over his paw pads and a brand new leash which absolutely saved the day for me!I occasionally come in here to buy yummy treats too and today we snagged a brand new find that Mr. Troika here absolutely loves -- polkadog...cod skins and it's a completely digestible crunchy stick your dog can eat and chew on in lieu of problematic raw hides. My dog's tummy is ultra sensitive and he can't eat rawhide but he loves these chew sticks!A huge thank you to the owners here because Troika loved walking in his new doggie booties and we will continue to support your cute local dog boutique. Thanks for having your doors 🚪 open during our brutal winter arctic storm 🙌

Horrible experience. I purchased a birthday cake for my dog which was about $35. I also purchased a few treats that were made of the same ingredients. At the counter I asked about the return policy if my dog did not like the treats (since they were made of the same ingredients as the cake, I was planning on giving a treat to my dog to see if he liked it - if he did not then I was planning on returning the UNOPENED cake the same day). They informed me that this would be fine. No where in their store OR their website does it say anything about no returns for unopened treats/cakes. After making the purchase, I went home and gave my dog a treat, he did not like it. So I called the store and told them I would be coming back to return the unopened cake. They then informed me that they did not offer refunds for cakes or treats. Their receipt says that there is 100% satisfaction guarantee and returns can be made within 30 days. On the receipt it also says treats can't be returned, which is not what was disclosed to me prior to making my purchase.1. No where in the store are there ANY signs saying things cannot be returned2. The receipt says 100% satisfaction gurantee3. The website says nothing about treats not being eligible for a return4. The employees told me I could return the cake, which I tried to do a few hours later, it was unopened. But when I tried to return they would not allow it.I find this store deceitful, overpriced (35+ dollars for a cake and expensive treats that my dog wouldn't even look at), and I had a horrible experience with them. I tried to return the item a few hours after it was purchased and they would not let me. Will not be shopping here again, and I suggest you don't either. Total ripoff and terrible customer service.

Expensive, but high quality. Clothing is tailored for small dogs only, though. We got a snow suit and a raincoat, and both designs were well thought out: the rain coat had a flap over the hole for the leash, and a hood.The attendants were friendly and welcoming, and gave our dog a treat. They were also super accomodating with us asking for the snow suit out of season, and got it all the way from storage, which was greatly appreciated.

We were visiting Chicago and wanted to pick up a special treat for our dogs. We found Tails in the City online and decided to try it out. Though the prices are much higher than we're used to, the items are high quality (and this is a luxury specialty store, keep in mind, so higher prices are to be expected) and the customer service is beyond exceptional! They were even kind enough to offer for us to stay inside the store while we waited for our Lyft because it had started pouring rain. The only thing I didn't like was that it was impossible to shop on our own - a salesperson was ALWAYS right there, listening to our comments and jumping in with suggestions. This made me uncomfortable and did NOT make me want to buy more. The store is small but spotless and extremely organized and the staff were friendly, if a bit overbearing. I would definitely recommend this store if you're looking for something posh for your pet.

If you have dogs and live in the area this is the place. Amazing staff very helpful and knowledgeable. After walking around this windy city I stumbled across this place. They had so many goodies it was hard to just pick one. So I got a nice little box of goodies because my dogs do deserve luxury!

Merchandise can be pricey, but ooooh it is worth every penny. 85% of stock is for dogs, the other 15% for cats. Despite this planned unfair shared space, I managed to get 2 presents for Bella. An adorable mat to hold her dishes and keep the floor clean. Best gift was a sardine can, filled with catnip "fish". Bella has received gifts from past visits, including a crystal red charm for her collar, and a new leash.Well merchandised, organized, friendly and informative staff. Bring your dog with you. There is an iron dog door jamb and a bowl of water waiting for him or her to arrive.

My wife and I stopped in during our last visit to Chicago with the intention of just looking around. My wife is always looking for new accessories for our Pit/ Boxer mix and they had so much to choose from. The girl working that day was enthusiastic and seemed to really enjoy talking and helping us. She explained every product to us and answered all of our questions. Ended up buying a new collar which not only looks really great, it is really nice quality. We will definitely be looking to come back next time we are in town.

Small boutique shop for dog stuff. The staff was friendly and treated our dog well. We brought her in for birthday treats and walked out with a raw hide bone, birthday cake treats and a Whitepaw toy.Not a place I'd shop for regular dog supplies due to selection and price but works great for special occasions.

I love the clothes they have available for little dogs from polos to tees to cute little dresses. I love the Louis dog tees. They fit my dog perfectly. He loves to just lounge around in them. You should check out the PJs they are awesome.The owners and staff are friendly. They seem to know all the neighborhood dogs by name.The clothes are pricier than Petco, but I think the quality makes up for it. Every March, they have 15 percent off, which is nice. They also have discounts for food every couple of months (2x a year).
