Do not bring your fur babies to this butcher! Because of their negligence, my fur nephew, my friend’s beloved dog who was in perfect health has just been told he’ll be losing his eye! Their groomer admitted to injuring his eye while grooming him, but the owner said they aren't going to pay or help and are trying to avoid responsibility for their actions because they SAY the dog was brought there at the owner’s risk! Despicable and disgusting response to causing such a traumatic injury to their customer’s dog! Do NOT take the RISK of bringing your precious pet to this heinous, callous and careless place! As an UPDATE: Please see their unprofessional response to this review that is riddled with blatant LIES (screenshots to prove) and where they once again pass the blame TO THE DOG. True professionals in the grooming business should know how to handle the dogs that they agree to groom. Although they lied about Cody. He’d been with the same groomer for 13 years, he’d gone to Habberdashery because his previous groomer retired. Cody is an absolute sweetheart of dog that my daughters and I have pup sat for tons of times. As DOG GROOMING professionals, it’s their job to know how to handle DOGS duh right? Kind of a non-negotiable for a dog grooming company, wouldn’t you think? They injured the dog. If they could not “so-called” handle him, they should have politely ended the service and informed their customer that you cannot accommodate their pet. Not injure the dog, insult the owner/their customer as they so disgustingly did as you see in their reply, and cause him to lose an eye and then basically say too bad so sad. Additionally, medical expenses help was NEVER offered to and declined by their customer, it was actually requested by her via email and ignored by the owners. Disgusting. The company’s response proved my point. Thanks for showing other potential customers how you’d handle them and have zero accountability.

This is the best grooming experience me and my fur baby have ever had. The staff at the front were so kind and professional. In the past, taking my baby to get groomed would be a stressful all-day event for the both of us. At Puppy Haberdashery my pup was done with his groom in a hour and he looks so handsome! He was excited and happy when I picked him up, not stressed and anxious as he’s used to being after a haircut. I felt so happy seeing the staff loving on him when I picked him up . I know he’s in safe hands when he’s there, I will be returning!

I've had my dog groomed 3 times with Puppy Haberdashery in Hyde Park. The groomer is great. The first two experiences were good. Sadly, I will not be going back to them. Thier prices and policies changed over the new year. Prices are steep and there is now a lengthy list of extras that seemingly used to be included.However, the reason I will not be going back is their puppy pick policy. They give you a call when the dog is 30 mins from being finished. From that phone call you have 1 hr to pick up the dog before they start charging you $1 per minute. I dropped my dog off at 10, I was contacted at 12:27 and told to pick the dog up at 1:00. At 1:22 I received a text notifying me that late charges would apply at 1:30. This was our last trip to the Puppy Haberdashery.

The staff here are the best in town! It’s always a delight interacting with them and my baby Bentley loves it here. I also love that they host dog socials and picture taking events. As he is turning one, I also ordered a cake from them to celebrate his birthday. This is truly a one stop shop for pets!

I have had several bad experiences with groomers prior to Puppy Habadashery. My dog has high anxiety with groomers and they are always so patient with him and makes sure that he looks his best when he leaves! They are the only ones allowed to touch my dog and I appreciate the fact they are patient and understanding of his grooming anxiety.

This place does a switch and bait on their customers! I booked for one thing and when my husband got there they made the decision to do another!! Which increased my cost from $65.00 to $110.00.. They even had the nerve to personally attack me by saying there was a communication issue between me and my husband!!Unfortunate!!!

Very disappointed! This is quite possible the worst grooming experience I have ever had with my dog. I selected Puppy Haberdashery because I saw them on television and read their reviews. I was excited and had high expectations. Unfortunately, my experience was not like the reviews I read.They did not follow my instructions. They also cut my dog and made him bleed.The “groomer” claimed she had years of experience but the cut looked like something that was done by someone brand new. It looks choppy and unprofessional.I specifically requested that they Not cut my dog’s muzzle area short. They did the exact opposite! And it looks awful. Although, my dog had a few matted areas around his ears. The “groomer” insisted his legs were matted too. It appears that they only know how to give one type of cut…. “The short butchered look”If you are looking for a groomer that knows how to give a variety of cuts, this is NOT THE PLACE TO GO.. Smh 🤦🏾‍♀️ The $90 bad grooming experience…I spoke with the owner about the service. It was clear that he knew very little about how to access a dogs coat. When questioned further her hung up the phone.Poor customer service, poor problem solving skills. He was unable to handle the situation and accept responsibility for their mistakes. I will be sending them a bill for vet services.Disappointing on every level!If I could give less than one star ⭐️I would.Here is a picture of how my dog looked after their service. I loved this place since the first day we came. I love that’s it’s black owned they are very clean and professional the vibes and environment is very peaceful. We’ve been coming since 2020. Me and my yorkie poo Pac forever grooming home. He always smell so good for days after and they cover all his grooming needs.

It’s the bow tie for me. I brought my Jackson here after countless anxiety filled trips to other groomers. The lady at the counter was kind and professional and listened to all of the instructions and handling concerns I had about my dog son. It was the quickest grooming service I have ever had, as other groomers would have my dog son for hours. He was in and out in an hour and a half. The end result was a happy Jackson. He came out prancing like a prized show dog. He looked beautiful, was happy, and smelled like a powder scented glade plug in. I will most definitely be bringing him back.
