Firts and last time I take my dog ​​to this place, they left him looking like a donkey had bitten his hair off, so much so that we took care of his Yorkie hair at home and this “groomer” destroyed his entire haircut, it was left horrible, plus the dog was extremely anxious and nervous, They didn't even clean his genitals well or remove the hair from his anus, my poor dog was unrecognizable. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOGS THERE

Legit never again. I thought I was scheduling for the one on diversey and Pulaski, but got the addresses mixed up. Still decided to keep the appointment since I always am happy with how she looks after her grooming at the diversey location. My baby smelled worse than when I took her in. I asked them if they brushed her teeth, they said no because I didn’t asked for that service, which I know I did because the person I spoke to said they use a special peanut butter toothpaste. My baby also had hair all over her. I get she sheds, but the whole point of the grooming is to get as much hair off of her as possible. She was still wet when I picked her up. Now I know for next time, to make sure I have the right location.

Great customer service. I needed to make a return but lost my paper receipt. The Petco located at 6236 N Western Ave, Chicago, IL refused to look up my transaction using my phone number for my rewards account, but this location was able to help and give me a refund for almost $100 worth of food my old 21 year old cat refused to eat.I definitely recommend this location instead of the Western location because they are more helpful and genuinely care about customer satisfaction. The other location had an unprofessional and unhelpful cashier.Thank you again, Petco, for all your help. Great staff here.

This location is a little out of the way, but when it comes to the cleanliness of the animal department I prefer to come out this way! Melinda is awesome and so helpful. Goes out of her way to help. She does a wonderful job in the animal department. Thank you so much. Would recommend this spot!Thanks again Melinda.

In November 2023, I used the grooming services at this location for my dog. Unfortunately, after this appointment, my dog developed a urinary tract infection, requiring emergency veterinary care. This situation caused significant discomfort to my pet and resulted in considerable veterinary expenses.Upon revisiting the store on January 6, 2024, to express my concerns and request extra care for my dog, I was met with a response from one of the groomers, Amanda Maldonado, that I found to be unexpectedly rude and dismissive. Her behavior, which included a refusal to groom my dog in spite of several available appointments further added to my distress and has significantly diminished my trust in the grooming services at this location.I believe this situation warrants a thorough investigation into the grooming practices that led to my dog's health issue. Groomers involved Amanda Maldonado, Elaine.Additionally, I feel that appropriate training or disciplinary action should be considered for the staff involved, with a focus on customer service.Lastly, a formal apology for the distress and inconvenience caused would be appreciated.The professionalism and empathy of staff are crucial in service-oriented businesses, and my experience raises concerns about both at this particular location.

5 star service when it comes to this location. Rodrigo always helps me out when I come to this location and this time around he helped me return/exchange some food my dog didn’t agree with. The whole staff always goes out of their way to make it a great experience. Extremely pleased with all my recent visits.

This place is awesome. If you get your dogs haircut, Angel and Elain are both very professional, patient and friendly! Never pushing us to upgrade and of course plenty of parking with food and shopping near by.

Some people are nice, not my favorite petco to shop at. Thought it was just me/an off day, but noticed a specific worker cannot control their face and literally looks agitated/disgusted when they see me walk up (literally have only ever had them as my cashier and I help myself, never issues with my payment methods etc) and their mood changes in comparison to when they help other customers ahead of me, so I'd just rather not make the trip for that sort of treatment.

I have been coming here with my two dogs religiously for about 4 years and am always pleased. My dogs are always so happy to see the staff and they are always very helpful. The grooming department does a wonderful job and I even bring my dogs here for the Vetco services. The store is always neat and visually pleasing. If I could give them 10 stars I would!

I love going to see the animals there. They just got 3 new ferrets. I do feel so bad for those animals who don't get to go home but I go to this location primarily because they're neighboring starbucks and they have a variety of dog food

Takes really great care of both their fresh and salt water fish selections compared to petsmarts in the area. Not to mention petsmart doesn't have a salt water selection. Also carries a Cichlids and many other types of fish besides the usual Molly and guppy.

The people are so friendly and helpful, shout out Sam and Maria! The store is always clean. They have a self-wash which is awesome. Also, Petco has a great rewards program and I love their Vital Care!

Rude, combative staff. No one is friendly or willing to help you. Store is small and the selection of things is limited. Parking lot is difficult to navigate, especially when busy. Things are always out of stock and prices are sky high anyway. I walked in and walked right back out. I’m only going to Pet Supplies Plus from now on. At least they have a reasonable parking lot, friendly staff, and plenty of selection.

Employees are super nice but the store is crazy hot just standing in line. I asked why and apparently their air has been broken for awhile and the higher ups wont fix it.
