On Saturday March 30th at around 3:30 I went in to bathe my dog like I have done tons of times. The tub I wanted to use was currently occupied. I was going to wash my dog in the center tub but they left before I even started so I switched and used the one they used. Only ONE tub was used. When all was said and done.While finishing a man was standing right next to me, very close. And started yelling (yes yelling) at me about using 2 tubs. I was explaining what happened and he kept getting closer and I asked him to get back. He was being unprofessional and my dog isn’t great with strangers who are yelling at me!! He responds with “then maybe you shouldn’t even have your dog in here then!!”No matter what I said and what I explained he was extremely rude and unprofessional and made a big deal out of nothing.I go to pay and he tried to charge me for 2 baths!! And continued to argue and raise his voice with me in the store.He said he was the manager and his name was Brandon (who knows if this was true) and if he was the manager. God help this store. And the customer service girl Crystal was not very kind either and was just full of attitude as if this was all a joke. After years of going to this location I will no longer. What a disappointment. So unprofessional and disappointing.

Checkout person highly unprofessional and condescending. I was trying to check out, and did not ask for any advice or opinions. He told me my dog is underfed, on the wrong diet, the prong collar I have (which I have used on all dogs I have ever had) is "not safe." He told me my dog took a cookie he offered "aggressively" and needed behavioral support. When I told him we are in training, he wanted to know who the trainer was, who it was through, and assumed I was training him alone at home. He kept saying "I am the dog trainer, this is why I'm mentioning this." He obviously was trying to get more clients. Telling customers a bunch of negative feedback that they did not ask for is not how you get clients! I am never going to this Roscoe Village Petco again.

item was ready and waiting for me to pick up. staff member at that time was nice, friendly and was able to find the held item. even asked if i wanted a bag; which i respectfully declined.

They have posters of aquariums in the front windows. No aquatics. Asked for live crickets they said they don't have products for "small animals". Not sure the point except to waste my time.

The store is fine but don’t use the vetco at this location. It’s a janky set up in an aisle and the head vet needs to retire.

Such good service and treat pets very wellIf you do ever feel like giving up your pet this is definite place to go and if you ever feel like getting one this is also your best bet without breaking the bank

I spent 100 dollars here and did not get any rewards. I asked for help at the store and was directed to call their customer service who was no help. I gave them my email and number and they still were not able to find anything. After 45 minutes on the phone they were able to find the purchase after asking me for the number on the receipt. Why waste my time and not ask in the first place? Apparently someone else redeemed my points and they refused to honor it because they had no proof that I made the purchase even though I had the receipt! Will never be shopping at this petco again.

Moe gave me and my wife advice on which collar would be best for Duque (dog) which he love to tug us around. Also he gave us 30% discount on dog food which made our day.My wife and I really felt welcomed and saw that Moe and his assistant care about our concerns. Thanks guys!

I love the pickup option at this location. The staff is super nice. The only complaint I have is that they often run low on the food I buy for my cat :)

The self wash was disgusting. I felt as if my dog came out just as dirty as she walked in. Hair all over the floor, guest towels were extremely stained. The area to dry the dog was filthy

I walked right in at 9am when the store opened. I was greeted and assisted immediately. The sales associate helped me organize my products and ensured that I was getting the appropriate discount on a damaged bag of litter. I have now had two good experiences in this store just based on how friendly the associates were. I will be back.

Lets see, I had to find a lot of stuff for my cat fei.I needed food, toys and cat nipWhile browsing I was assisted by a young blonde lady who asked me if I needed a hand.She was able answer questions i had about when fei is stressed and what I wanted to do if he were to meet another catI felt really appreciative of her help, every petco needs some one like her!

Love the Vital Care option Petco offers. We have a 70lb lab mix and she is scared of everything to do with grooming. We have had the same groomer the past few times and she has done a wonderful job making sure Barlie comes out looking so fresh and clean. Highly recommend Vital Care and this location!

I recently adopted a new kitten. As a pet company, I’m sure you know how many various supplies a pet can require. I have placed 3 online orders with Petco, and visited this store once since June 23. That’s just a little over one month. Each time I have visited, I have gotten one of each product, but I have never purchased something more than once except for litter.I decided to place an order on August 5, for my mom’s cat because I thought she’d like the products I tried and my cat liked. I got a notification that this order was cancelled. So when I called to find out why I was accused of reselling (“marked as reseller” is the term used) and was told I’m no longer able to purchase from Petco.I find this unusual since it’s not at all uncommon to purchase a variety of items when adopting a new kitten. With a rewards program that encourages repeat purchases, why would I be banned from ordering from Petco? I’m extremely disappointed because Petco is my store of choice for pet items, and as a result of this I will likely need to take my business elsewhere.The only sensible explanation I have is that it is because I ordered my cat a toy and a treat and then my mom the same ones, within 24 hours. It feels like this is a computer decision. I need a human to evaluate and make it make sense!

A small quaint Petco in Rosxoe village with acouple self serving dog was units! What they lack for in products they make up for in fantastic customer service! Nora is a phenomenal manager that it sweet, attentive, helpful and knowledgeable. The rest of the staff are great too!

This location’s store manager working on June 19, 2021 was extremely unprofessional. I brought in an order that I purchased from this store location to return within the 60 day return policy. The manager told me that the system wasn’t allowing him to do the return and wasn’t pulling up the order. I asked him what he could do- an override, a store credit, etc. He told me there was nothing he could do and I would have to call customer service. I asked him if he could call customer service to rectify the issue since it was an issue on the store’s end (it shouldn’t be up to me to spend my time and energy and personal phone capacity to call and fix an issue that has to do with technical difficulties and store systems); he said no and I had to ask him multiple times to provide me with a customer service phone number I could call. He then walked away to go chat with another employee. The customer service person on the phone was very helpful, but when she tried calling him at the store to coordinate the return, she said he hung up on her. She had to call him back again which took even more time from an already busy day. I have never experienced such a negligent and outrageous lack of customer service! I am truly shocked and appalled at the lack of professionalism at this location. Definitely go to the location on Halsted instead of this location! They are very knowledgeable and helpful. Or stick with PetSmart!

One of the workers was very disgruntled and angry at the world. Told us that while the dog wash was open until 7, in order for the store to adequately close by 8, we would need to be done washing the dogs by 6:40.

This review is for my curbside delivery pickup - when my dog's online food order from a different company was delayed, I was able to order same day from Petco! It was ready for pickup within 20 minutes. When I got there, I called, someone quickly answered and brought our delivery out to the car in under 3 minutes. It was so easy and we are extremely grateful for this service during this time!!

New to the city, and don't have a vet yet. My Puppy needed a few vaccines, so I took him to the VetCo clinic on two separate occasions. Appointments were easy to make, staff was friendly (and great with an anxious dog!) and the process was extremely simple. Prices were comparable to previous experiences with a vet.

This place is the most friendly and well stocked store I have been to. The management are very customer service oriented with their customers and so are the employees. A big shot out to Malorie Claudio, she always puts her customers first, you can ask her any questions regarding your dog or opinion on dog food she is very knowledgeable. You can tell right away she is truly a dog lover!👍🐶🐕btw she also likes Cat's!!!🐱❤

The Petco in the Roscoe Many items I can't find in other pet s tree stores. I find the clerks to be pleasant and we to be willing to help you find things. Only 4 stars is bc their prices are high and I find them to be outta things when their website says it's in stock.Overall I like this store....and will continue shopping there.
