So thankful to have found Pet Wants. The staff are so helpful. I have a shitzu/bichon that has become a super picky eater. We tried so many options. After going to Pet Wants we are fans of the frozen cooked food and their kibble softened with goats milk from their store. We were amazed how much our dog loves goats milk. Great quality products.

the best of the best, so lucky we found this gem. my 2 aussiedoodles struggle with really sensitive stomach & they’ve been on prescription diet for years. i noticed they don’t really get the nutrients they need from it & they don’t seem to enjoy it either. i gave their kibble a try and the owners were very nice & informative. they were very helpful with transitioning my boys & gave me wonderful tips. i couldn’t be more happier with the results— they’re now actually excited to eat, their stools are firmer and less stinky and most importantly it worked for their sensitive tummies! i’ve tried SO many brands and their kibble was the only one that worked for my boys!

We needed a quality collar for our GSD puppy. I found Pet Wants through a Google search in our neighborhood. I called ahead to see if they had what we were looking for and was told yes. When we walked in Ewa (Owner) was waiting for us. We have three dogs and are pretty serious pet owners, now that our children are grown. The quality of products from training tools to food/treats and care items was impressive for a small store. I just kept buying up everything I saw. The best part is that we were not only helping small business owners, but our neighbors as well. Pet Wants even supports a foundation that rescued dogs run by a friend. (Garrido Foundation). I tried out Pet Wants food sample for the first time on a recommendation from my mom and haven't turned back since! The quality of the food immediately agreed with my dog, Blueberry. Her digestion, skin, hair, and disposition all improved after switching to Pet Wants food! Ewa and her pups are just wonderful whenever I drop by for food. Blueberry especially loves when I pick her up a beef stick. Last minute dog food delivery has saved me in a pinch too! If you're looking for quality and affordable food for your four legged friends I cannot recommend Pet Wants enough :)

I have been getting my dog food from this place for around a year now. The biggest appeal to me was that the dog food is made fresh in small batches with all natural products! My dogs now love their meal time and lick their bowls clean. Always a pleasant experience with the owner that truly cares for my dogs.

This is a really cute shop with more merchandise than the website suggests. I bought fresh dog food and a bowl for our new adoptee and the associate was super helpful and friendly. They even included free treats. Our new dog loves her food. We'll definitely be getting her food there from now on as we love to shop local and the ingredients seen really healthy.

Very happy we found this place. My dog loves her new natural and fresh food. The store is great and well stocked with many things. The owner Ewa was very welcoming and knowledgeable about dog food. It is also nice I can get the food delivered. Well worth checking out.

Found them via Garrido’s Foundation and I couldn’t be more impressed. They have fresh food , toys , treats , you name it they have it . My review is for the kibble which my pups are def loving and the lady at the counter who was super knowledgeable and incredibly sweet ! Def gained a customer for life . Keep being AMAZING

Pet Wants is amazing. My Shih-Poo when she was a puppy had really hard time with dog food that is sold in bulk. I tried 4-5 different brands and all of them made her have stomach upset. At that time my friend recommended Pet Wants. I have been getting pet food from Pet Wants for my dog since she was 1 year old and we have been on it since. She loves her food and I know I can trust the quality. Ewa is amazing and always a great resource whenever I have any questions. Their service and delivery is fantastic and completely reliable. I love them.

Have been feeding my dogs Pet Wants dog food for over 6 years and my dogs love it. one of my rescues had bad skin issues and now her coat is nice and shiny. That same rescue has severe stomach issues and now they are almost non existent. Ewa is very knowledgeable and if she doesn't know she admits it and gets back to you! Awesome customer service and dog food at your door on time and even in emergencies. Dont let that stop you from going into the store...very cute and soooo many good products.

My dog loves the food! I've tried a few different foods for her since she was a puppy because she has a sensitive stomach. She has never been so eager to eat as she is when she smells the pet wants food! It's fresh and that makes us both happy

We get our FRESH, healthy dog food from Pet Wants every few weeks. We get it frequently because freshness is important to us. But Pet Wants has SO much more! Dog ice cream, healthy solutions to help with dog breath, dog beds, leashes, homemade dog cookies, antlers, bones, treats and MORE! So grateful to have them in our neighborhood!

Awesome experienceSmall little store but the customer service is unmatched. Don't try to use any other pet wants location they won't answer your calls but the chicago North location is always ontop of everything and gives good recommendations as well. Would recommend to anyone with a cat or dog

I stopped in Pet Wants to check out the new store. The owner Ewa gave me a sample to bring to Phoebe. She has a sensitive stomach and we really have to watch when we use new food.I mixed it with her regular food and she seemed to love it. The next day I watched her, she sat next to it and picked out all her old food and had the new in the bowl. She proceeded. Go eat only the new. So I tried to mix again and she picked out my only Pet Wants food and scratched the bowl for more !!We bought three lbs and she gets excited when I move the bag.Her wants are Pet wants and she loves the product.We will only be buying food from here and I love that delivery service is available.Try your pet and you will see !!Paula

I took my dog Andy here this afternoon. We purchase the white fish and duck recipe. The owners were extremely friendly and the building was clean and welcoming. They advised that I mix the new food in with Andy's old food for about a week. I just fed Andy dinner and he picked around all his old food and only ate the white fish and Duck kibble. I will be ordering more food in the future and look forward to trying new recipes!

I met the owner at a local Farmers Market and she gave me a sample. My Dogs Love The Food! Their fur is softer and much less dog waste as well. A great high quality dog food

Pet Wants food is fresh, natural, and of very high quality. Our dog (Tizer) loves chicken & brown rice and lamb & brown rice. Tizer was a very picky eater but know he eats all his food and gets very excited when it's time to eat. Thank you Pet Wants !

I love Pet Wants store & my Lucy loves their food. The great thing about pet wants food is you can buy per pound. Not like in other stores. Also I love that they provide free delivery especially with cold winter days ahead.

Thank you for suggesting the Salmon & Brown Rice ... it has made a HUGE difference. Onyx’s scratching has stopped, hair has grown back stronger and shinier. Food has also taken care of his breath and gas problem. Our dogs will eat Pet Wants for life...Thx u again!
