The store is always clean and well stocked, and they frequently have great sales and discounts. I do wish the aquarium area and fish stock were bigger and more diverse, but I've noticed they have a better quality of fish than other big pet stores. I have not seen dead fish in their tanks, and on more than one occasion, I have witnessed their staff discussing the health and well-being of their stock. They do not over stock bettas, so there are (usually) not a bunch of fish in tiny cups for months on end. If less variety means better quality of care, I can get behind that. The Glofish I bought at this location have been healthy and happy!

Absolutely love the staff at this location.The staff is welcoming and authentic. They really care about each other, their customers, and the animals that visit them.My hats off to their store manager, Zacorra, for a fantastic job leading and training her team! We had a blast visiting the store for their Halloween Event!

Compared to the store on Ashland &Archer, the customer service was superb. I will travel to Wicker Park any day to pick up my pet supplies. It is also a much bigger store! They even offered my dog a treat and helped me carry supplies to my trunk. You just gotta get what you want when sales first start or they run out of things. But I think that's at every store in the area. You can't order from a wearhouse, you have to order from an individual store. The only thing I don't like. But they do price match Chewy, PetSmart, Petco, and Amazon (excluding 3rd parties).

Google has been wanting me to rate this place for awhile- keeps popping up in the notifications on my phone. Like, why would I care to rate a pet supplies store? However, finally has come the time. This place is consistently good enough, that I'm glad it's my nearest pet supply store now. They usually have good people working here, they have rescue cats they give space to so they can get adopted, good stock, good prices.....I don't think putting your tel. no. in actually does anything at check-out, but at the end of the day, it's cheaper than the other stores- they will price match, and if you shop at Jewel first (at least for now), you'll get a coupon for Pet Supplies Plus, on your receipt....I have to spend over $100 at Petco and PetSmart to get the same discount.

For the second time in a row I have shopped at this store and they do not honor the pricing they have on the shelves.This cat shelf was on sale today the 26th but they said it expired in the morning of the 26th not the afternoon, even though all of the other cat items were on sale.This is the second time they bait and switch products.

First off, they have parking. Do you know how many times I do not go to a particular store because there’s no easy parking? Big plus. Second, they have a pretty great selection of high quality pet foods and supplies that usually only boutique pet stores or online would carry. Third, when I bought a 40-lb crate of cat litter, the cashier asked if I needed help bringing it to my car. What service! Sure! Given I had brought my shih tzu into the store, she can often be distracting, in so many good ways, when trying to run errands 😉 A very nice, young man helped carry the litter and bag of foods I purchased for said shih tzu and my cat, and all in all, I’ve always had a pleasant time at Pet Supplies Plus. They’ve been great, straight forward, and efficient in all things pet retail-related.

One star because they sell bones that are dangerous for dogs to eat. I naively bought a smoked pork femur that I thought would be safe since they were selling it. When I gave the bone to my dog it splintered in large chunks and became unsafe for her to consume. The FDA has put out a warning against these. Why would they sell these and put dogs at risk of death?

Well I work as a security guy and used to work up there at Wicker Park and I love the fact that they have a great customer service the management and the employees like Felicia she knows everything and anything about the pets and the store items and she will give you her expertise in what food to purchase and what type of medication or allergies that making your pet feel ill also you have manager Emmanuel who is a real expert in the fish in the aquarium and a expert in dogs he helped me pick out the best dog food water bowl and toys these two and the other employees are the best at what they're doing great job guys

We had tried out multiple more expensive groomers in the Wicker Park / Bucktown area before coming to Pet Supplies Plus. We are here to stay! The staff were kind and patient and did an excellent job grooming our 3 YO dog (who can be a handful). Many thanks to the staff at Pet Supplies Plus, highly recommend to all!

Self service dog wash here is awesome. It’s so clean and well priced. $10 a wash or you can buy a card for 5 washes for $25 (only $5 each). The system offers four different types of shampoo that’s built it to the water faucet so you don’t need to bring anything. They supply fresh towels and aprons and it even has a built in blow dryer. You can get in and out in 20 minutes or less and there are two stations so if you do wait, it’s not long. And the staff here are super friendly and helpful. Best deal in town!

Great neighborhood pet store with everything you might need! They offer a decent amount of coupons (both via email and mail) if you sign up for their loyalty program (phone and email) which can get you better savings on whatever your buying.

I used to work here until I recently quit because of how I was treated, along with other things. The store itself is nice and the sales are great, but as a former employee and as a current customer, I currently am receiving messages from the current staff, constant harassment about me and my personal life that has been going on for almost a year, that does not pertain to work at all, and I have spoken to these people many times and asked them to not speak ill of me as it gets back to me everytime and makes me uncomfortable. The store and assistant manager are great, but the team itself is toxic to both the employees and the customers. I only hope that they fix their attitude when it comes to stressful situations, instead of taking it out on each other. It makes me very uncomfortable to shop there, and it should make others uncomfortable as well.

I’ve gotten pet supplies for my cockatiel at the Pet Supplies Plus Wicker Park Location. The staff is pleasant and helpful, everything is easy to locate and most importantly, the animals that are being sold here look and act cared for and there is an adorable stray finch that’s found its way into the store and has been living in its high ceilings ever since. My pet enjoy his new purchases

I placed a delivery order and the store was out of stock of my dog's dry food. Instead of cancelling my order, one of the staff members arranged a transfer of the dry food from another location so that she could complete my delivery order! She really went above and beyond and I appreciate that so much!

Great selection for dogs, not a lot for cats. They do have some very useful basics for cats like Litter Genies, but there's usually not a lot in stock. There are also other small animals like fish and birds in the back.

I came here to check out the birds that chill near the back. They're cute but beware when you buy one as the workers have no experience in handling most pets. Had to chase down a poor cockatiel I was buying at the time, and it was probably very scary for the bird.I recommend buying locally from people who breed birds who know human touch so your birds are more friendly.

I love this store. Mostly because not only do they carry the dietary need foods for my felines but the employees all seem to genuinely care for animals and it shows. Good vibes and happy animals. Also, to add.. Furry feline friends available to adopt through a rescue on premises. Best!

I am horrified. I have come here for a variety of needs for over a year. On Friday I picked up some dog treats for my dog including the trachea with peanut butter. This morning, there are bugs on the counter escaping the trachea package. I live a very clean life with a clean house and I am embarrassed to think my dog ate one of these. Don't waste your time buying treats here because with the 3 bugs I saw, it's bound to make your pet sick.

The store is fine but their online website is an absolute nightmare. I tried redeeming my points but I was told that I need to redeem them online to receive a barcode but when I try to that the website drags and doesn’t load. I’ve tried so many different devices but it’s their website that doesn’t work properly. I stop by at least once a week and have accumulated so many rewards that I can’t even access!
