Edit: I took my dog in after being reached out to by the owner, we were suggested to book with Stephanie to give Kriser’s another shot and so glad we did! I gave Stephanie just a few notes on his groom and she did an amazing amazing job. This might be one of the best cuts he’s ever gotten! Glad we decided to book with a new groomer and we’ll definitely be bringing him back to Stephanie ❤️Initial Review:Took my dog in for a groom as I just moved to Chicago and was trying to find a new spot. Overall, it was very okay. His haircut wasn't messed up terribly, but his haircut was choppy all over and his hair lengths were uneven across his body. I also paid for a full groom and expected his sanitary parts to be cleaned up but was surprised to see that his underbelly was left completely untouched. Also, although the hair all over his body had been cut, his face was left almost untouched, he still had had growing out over his eyes and around his mouth.For the price I paid for a full body groom I'll probably never bring my pup here again

The gentleman working there was so helpful, both over the phone & in person. When i called, he went to the shelves to check the expiry date of a particular brand of cat food and he was super helpful and encouraging when I went in to pick up the food.This store also has easy on street parking & a good selection of products!

Usually go in to get my dogs nails trimmed here and am typically happy with that service. This time I just wanted a beard/face trim for him and am blown away to find that in between his eyes and halfway up his nose were shaved down to the skin. I made the mistake of not checking it out until we got home, but there’s not much that can be done other than wait for it to grow out again. The groomer was a nice guy, but this is just really disappointing - most likely won’t be going back after this. There are multiple groomers there so I can’t say this is a reflection on everyone.

I stopped by to check out the store while I was in the area for the first time. Very cute fully stocked store. My pups would be happy to come in with me next time. Joel, ASM was great to help answer my questions. Bonus great music!

Staff were very helpful. Went in looking for raw cat food and they were able to show me a couple of different options. Our cat has definitely enjoyed their food. Will be back for more soon!

My sister’s dog Louie loves the Streeterville location. Whenever out for a walk, Louie is sure to drag me down the street to the store for a visit with his favorite employee Aric. Aric gives him the attention he needs at every visit. The employees allow Louie a good sniff around the joint and we usually leave purchasing their treats/bully sticks.

I took the time to carefully select a dog service for my puppy, and based on a recommendation from another dog owner, I chose them and we signed up for a full bath service. However, my experience did not meet my expectations, possibly due to different staff members from what my peer encountered.I appreciated the convenience of booking the full bath appointment online and the ability to customize add-ons while receiving an estimated final price, in my case it ranged between $175 to $200. On the day of the appointment, the check-in procedure felt routine, and there was a lack of rapport established.When I picked up my puppy, the overall experience felt transactional. I inquired about how my pup did, but the responses from the front desk and groomer were dry, lacking any specific details.While my puppy looked and smelled nice overall, I felt uneasy about the transactional interactions and the absence of a level of care that I was hoping for. As a paying customer, I expected the service to demonstrate more attentiveness and enthusiasm towards my puppy, along with providing additional details about how he fared while I was away.The service was satisfactory, but it didn't align with my preference for professionals who show a greater level of care and provide more detailed feedback about my puppy's well-being during their care.

I booked a grooming appointment for my dog and was asked to confirm it the day before, which I did. I went to my appointment today to be told that the groomer who I booked no longer works there, but it looks like they didn't get to telling me beforehand...Suffice to say, I will not be returning.

Had such a great visit today! Employee Michelle talked me through nail trimming options and practices, and suggested a few great treats and distractions. Successfull at home nail clipping and filing along with a no-hide chew made this a very happy puppy and a very easy process. Thanks!

I’ve been shopping at Kriser’s even when I didn’t have a pet of my own! Now that I have a new puppy, the Streeterville location is my go to for all things treats, toys, food and more. There is something for all your pet needs - from collars and harnesses and leashes to toys, dental sticks, dog beds, etc. Before I got my pup Kriser’s was my first stop! Teagan is incredible - he had so much advice for me as a new parent to an active and energetic puppy. We even came home with our own customized doggy bag, courtesy of Teagan! 10/10 highly recommend (:

Pricing could be cheaper but the service was good. I had my two kitties got some lion cuts. They look super cute. For full groom, you'll need to book appointments ahead. For my long hair cats, it took 4 hours total

Matt always does an amazing job with my 15 year old Sheltie, Blue. I feel very comfortable leaving Blue in his hands and will keep going back to Kriser's in Streeterville for the freshest cuts.🐕

We have had our puppy for about 1 month now, and have been to Kriser’s probably a dozen times already. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful every single time. Most recently Arie helped answer my questions about dog food - the difference between puppy and adult food- and helped me pick the right choice for my pup. I cannot recommend this store enough! We also use Kriser brand dog shampoo, dog cleaning wipes, and training treats and have had great experiences with all.

I am so glad that I stopped into Krisers and spoke with Michelle. I had a sick cat that wouldn't eat. Even my vet's trick's and tips weren't working. Michelle and her staff provided me with a few choice recommendations and really got her back on track. Seriously saved me from having repeat vet visits for the same issue. I live on the other side of town and come downtown to this location. The staff is educated, aware and responsive. Really appreciate the customer service!

Our sweet, anxious Cocker Spaniel has had a rough time finding a groomer who is patient with her so we were thrilled when Stephanie took her in and loved her just as much as we do! Stephanie is so wonderful and the groom is absolutely perfect! Great prices too!

I normally have a great experience with staff and help finding product....however on this trip I did not, probably because it was the city location...I walked in with my dog and there was minimal greeting...ok no big dealHoweverAlso asked for a small treat similar to a training treat but could not recall the name(I was given a bag as a birthday gift from the deer park store.)After she could not find the product purchased in the system the associate went to the back of the store out of customer sight and did not help search the item I was looking for in a 800 sq ft store.. I found it for her/me and won't be back her againPoor representative of the kriser brandSunny needs to live up to her nameAndShe also did not mention the 7 cent PAPER bag taxTerrible just terrible

Grooming is expensive and on my last visit I was charged a special handling fee and was met with hostility for questioning the special handling fee from the groomer. My dog is 5 lbs so theoretically a groomer should be able to handle him. I’ve been going to this store for the past few years and will not ever go back.

The booking system has now messed up 2-3 appointments We have had originally. Its become frustrating to have to call to confirm if the appointment is there a few days before. I appreciate the care for my pup, but this needs to be resolved quickly as we make special arrangements to accommodate the appointments for it to be randomly cancelled without notice same day.

I love this place. I came in a while ago looking for a new food for my cat who was having hairball issues and didn't know where to start. Kristen was so helpful and got us started with a raw food diet and the Licks Hairball Remedy and it has been so helpful for our cat and us. 10 out of 10, will always come back and recommend. They really know their stuff here!

As a store great, but for grooming we were extremely disappointed. We have a pet Pomeranian and had him groomed there and despite the fact that we asked them several times to not cut his fur too short they did exactly that, extremely short (to the point that it doesn't seem healthy), in addition to being uneven and patchy. Overall, at least if you have a pomeranian, would not recommend
