Ive always come here but this past visit i bought a jar of Taliah Waajid cowash which is supposed to smell like coconut and aloe vera and when i went to put it on my hair it smelled so bad like a cardboard box and old clothes thats you put up for different seasons. Went to check it expired April 2024 so i take it back up there n was like i just want an exchange or something Bc thats smells bad. They like okay go. So i went to go grab another one and I went to check the expiration date the WHOLE LINE had expired. I saw one from 07/2023. But then they called me back up to the front and was like i cant exchange it bc i “used” it mind yall i only did a lil bit and soon as i smelt it i washed it immediately. So im like but its old and smells the guy says no its still good For a couple more days. Im like nawl smell it . He did and was like its still “good” . I told them so i cant do a exchange he said no because i “used” it. I told them what about the other expired products on the line they tried to act like they didnt know what i was talking about so i just told them to keep it and then left. 0/10 would not recommend. More and more people are complaining about expired products and they are refusing exchanges and returns. Beware and to check expiration date. Also they tax like a mfca in here. Better off going to Tina Beauty Supply on Glen Flora!!!!

I have been going to this beauty supple store for years. They do have a good variety of stuff. But the customer service takes away from whatever products they may have. So just like every other visit I spent about $65. One of my purchases was a continous spray water bottle. Unfortunately when I went to use it the water bottle leaked every where!! So this morning I went to return this water bottle. The lady at the front acted like I was lying. She even went as far as to fill the bottle up with water and sprayed it once then stated "look it's not leaking" . I proceeded to spray it continously like it should be sprayed and it leaked every where!! This woman looked me in my face and said I don't see it... WOW!! Seriously!! I showed her the water all over my hand and she still stated she didn't see it. I didn't even want to argue anymore. I said you know what keep it. You just lost a great customer over 10 bucks. She talked to me like was stupid and ignorant. I would suggest to anyone find another beauty store to go to! God forbid you need to ever do a return or exchange here... find another beauty store!!

Great selection of items. I love coming here. Now they do tax a little bit. But inflation is everywhere nowadays. They always have what I’m looking for and I always end up leaving with a little more than I intended due to them having so much stuff! Definitely my go to when I’m in the area.

They treat customers very poorly, I have been in the store where they have had the police to come, staff fighting with customers, I have had an experience with a staff trying to fight with me, and I just got out of there as soon as I could, it was scary. It seems to methat they target the African American Community but have no regards or respect for them at all, only enough to make a sale.

The gentle man who I believe to be the owner is rude and disrespectful. All of those products are extremely over priced. The owner ruined a $50 sale over $0.50. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN EVER.I shop at this place all the time and never had an issue until today. I went with my mother for hair dye. Got into the store and she decided she wanted a wig as well. First issue came when he stated that my mother would have to pay $.50 for the wig cap or buy the wig. I have never been charged for a wig cap at this place or any other hair store across the U.S. But its $.50 cent whatever we planned on buying a wig anyway. But then after my mom tried on 2 wigs he stated she can only try on three. Again I have never had a limit on wig try ons at this store or any other store. Well the first two were ugly and my mom didn't think she could pick another in one try so we said forget it. The gentleman then preceded to demand the $.50 by stating with an attitude "Give me $.50". My mom they asked if she could add it to her bill when she's done shopping because she only had a card. He need aggressively walks pass up telling us "we pay now" and ushers us to the front of the store to pay for the stocking cap. After giving them a piece of my mind I let him have his 50 cent and left the store.I need my fellow African Americans to support each other and not deal with these stores that disrespectful us even though we make their money. I hope that 50 cent was worth it because that will be the last 50 cent this store will ever receive for me. Went to Sally's and the hair die was half the price.

I went to this store to purchase some good quality hair and to my surprise this store did not disappoint me. I was helped by a man name Sam.Ladies, when I say that this man knows about hair, he knows about hair. Even when it comes to looking at a picture to determine what you need, he knows his stuff. He was a excellent help. So if you are like me and don't know much about weave or you just need help he is your man to ask for. Needless to say, my hair stylist was able to work with this hair with ease. And my hairstyle came out great. Thank you Sam.

I have to get a four because the cashier was awesome I don't give it a five because as I watched a couple of my elders need assistance with certain products that they should be able to try and see if they liked it I could try on type thing I feel like the lady was more interested in fixing the store that she was in trying to encourage them to be certain that what they're looking at is something that they definitely want to purchase by trying it on first so and give it a four because of the cashiers but I don't give it a five because when we're spending our money you know it should be no question about giving us your undivided attention and cleaning up your store in between customers where's the customer service when you back there and this lady is looking at something that she's not sure is her style and you have a try on policy and you steady fixing your store instead of trying to make sure that you got to satisfy customer who is uncertain so I say that they just need to work on the back of the store and the way that they treat the customers while they're shopping not just being awesome when it's time to collect the money

This supply store gauges prices and pretends to give a 10% discount when actually the product should be sold for far less.This business is truly taking advantage of African-American women in the community. They earn a high profit from our spending dollars and totally disrespect us as a whole. Also, not knowledgeable about the products. Shop Black owned.

Too much stuff in such small space. Not for a person who is claustrophobic. Coming into store is a safety hazard with cardboard and cloth on the floor. Understood that it was wet outside, but there are mats that can be used.

Good selection, but items that have been on the shelf for quite some time can be and should be lowered to a much better price. Prices need to be marked down! At times they offer 10% off, but that only meant a savings of about $3+ for my purchase. A cpl of other locations give out free products like oils, or a free calendar.

Disrespectful to customers.A woman asked an employee if the wig she was holding was human hair. Although the the package says human hair sometimes it isn't. He replied no and she asked really? He says "Don't argue with me OK?". 🙄He spoke to the women in the wig area like they were children. They constantly follow you and stare you down as you shop. I was taking off a wig and this man stared me down for no reason.They also have a silly rule about how many wigs you can try on. Why? What is the logical reason? I want to be sure of my decision.I won't be returning because I refuse to give them my money again.

First time shopping here and i am perplexed at the many five star reviews as i found the Asians who own/work there to be very condescending. It's as if they are doing their customers a favor. One couldn't speak english and the other was acting like i was bothering him by asking questions regarding the hair. Asians acting like they are white and treating the people of color who give YOU business rather shady. Two stars just for the large selection of hair. Zero stars for their customer service skills. Really wish i could find a black owned beauty supply.
