This place is amazing. My rescue dog Noodles had a reunion with 10 of her littermates and her mama for their 1 year old birthday. We ordered a birthday cake here in advance, and it was lovely working with the owner Marcia. She uses all organic ingredients and even made the cake bigger to make sure there was enough for our large group of pups. The store is well-stocked with a variety of high quality food, chews, toys, pet clothing, and baked goodies. We will definitely be back!

I’ve been coming here for years since I moved in. They have the products and knowledge that a trained human dietitian/herbalist like myself trusts. When I really let known how upset I was over my cat’s lymphoma prognosis. She brought her cat out to let me vent my feelings to her kitty. The cute thing cooed like an owl the whole time and really cheered me up. She gave me some products that I’m sure will help.

We got our dog Rye Bread a little birthday cake from For Dog's Sake earlier this month, and he absolutely loved it! We also picked up an adorable bowtie for him while we were there. The owner kindly helped us choose the best cake for our dog, gave him lots of pets and treats, and even gave us a free candle for his little cake. We will definitely return! Thank you!

Marcia, the owner, is keeping an incredible selection of healthy food! I needed something very specific for my cat and she not only had it, but introduced me to similar other brands that I didn’t know. She also helped me finding a good holistic vet, and I can tell she really dedicated her life to animals. Such amazing experience, and incredible human being.

We came to pay a visit for my dog's upcoming birthday celebration after a friend recommended this store. I live in the suburbs but the drive was definitely worth it! The owner was so kind and polite, she treated us to some samples of their famous empanadas for my two fur babies and was very kind in explaining the ingredients in the baked goods. We picked up a birthday cake and some of those delicious empanadas! Service was very kind, and professional. Marcia is passionate about baking and animals and she did a great combining those two. Definitely visit this store for some awesome pet accessories as well- they have a lot of cool unique items! The only reason it is not 5 stars is the parking was a tiny bit challenging around there! But otherwise amazing!

Never really one to share negative reviews, but I walked in and was extremely polite and asked what was recommended for my dog to eat because he was eating a lot of grass (usually means something is up with their tummy or they’re lacking in something) The owner just said she has no idea and walked away from us back to the front of the store.I was hoping for some recommendations or follow up questions, but that wasn’t the case. I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately will not be back due to lack of customer service.

Let me tell you a little bit about me experience. When we walked in we were greeted by a customer not even the worked,.We went there for a leash and collar for my bully. It was our first time in the store and i heard great things about the place so we went on a last minute shopping for out dog. Not on time did the lady help us. Not one time did she give an honest opinion besides "it fits great." We would ask do you have other styles and she would simply say "what there is what we have." <favorite line the whole time. Instead showing us different selections cause its our first time she just honestly watched and followed. My boyfriend didn't notice cause he was more excited about all the nice things they have in the store but as a true reviewer you look at everything from good to bad. She was more accommodating to my dog then she was us. She tells i close in 5 minutes so on and so forth. We wouldve been in and out if we had a little help. My boyfriend decides he want to look at the bed one last time so he runs back there and she follows him not to help him but to WATCH him. Like if he could stick a bed in his pocket and walk away. At this point i was ready to go. See the dog is my boyfriends dog but hes my baby. So he gets pretty excited about things especially new dog stores that happened to be blocks away. Can you believe she even recommended PetSmart to us just to get us out. i gave a two star cause they have nice things. If it was only about the hospitality it would be a 1 star cause she was nice to my dog.A little advice... if everyone in the neighborhood isnt interested in going into your store because of your not so nice attitude what are you going to do?

Went in to get a cake, i just wanted a simple cake anything that they had ready was perfectly fine. She went on about placing an order and emailing them, the owner was absolutely RUDE, it seems like other people have had similar experiences. Sad that I tried to support a local business and their lack minimum respect for their clientele drove me right out.

We found this place being new to town from the locate supplier search from the brand of dog food we feed our fur baby. This place is amazing and has all kinds of great products for your pup. For exactly the food we needed along with some other good quality chew things and treats. The lady was soo friendly and helpful we felt welcomed to our new city. This is a great stop for anyone needing any supplies for their pets.

I've been wanting to go here for a while(2 month attempt). I tried to get information about the store, because hours vary. I saw the owner receiving a shipment and inquired about her merchandise. She was a bit busy in her defense, but instead of giving me any attention, I felt like a burden. I said, "Excuse me, is your product online only. She said No, it's a retail store." I then said Well ive been trying to come here. Her response was well im busy getting my inventory now, and walks away. I know this seems petty, but if you want patrons, we need information, even if it's brief. All she had to say is you have to go online to my website." I'll be with you in a minute, etc. Most importantly, just take a second to respond to the inquiry. Instead, her actions seemed to give off . Why are you bothering me?I try to support small businesses, but a small transaction like this makes it frustrating. By the way coffee shop in this building is awesome 👌🏽 👏 , with best customer service.

Owner and staff are super helpful. The products are great as we know we're giving our dog the best. Her fur is always shiny and soft because of good nutrition. It's great to support a small business that cares about their customers and their pets. We shop here almost exclusively for our dog. Only time we've had to go elsewhere was for a lifejacket.

What a gem! Marcia and her beautiful store are both a gift to the neighborhood and a 'candyland' for my pooch! This shop is a destination worth the trip! We love For Dog’s Sake! We have 3 big American Bulldogs and they eat a lot of food and love to chew. The owner is always helpful with questions about food or bone sizes. I also love that the only things they carry here are really quality ingredients.

I was told about this place from a family member about how they make cakes for dogs. Together with family, we went to visit the place because we were actually looking for a cake for our dog Lucky who turned 14 years old today. It was a nice place to visit. There were many nice things for both dogs and cats, and the cakes were so cute. They had cookies, cupcakes and different size cakes. The one cake I bought for my dog was made of peanut butter. Marcia was there to help us pick a cake for our dog and she was professional and informative about her products. Our dog Lucky was so surprised on how yummy it was that it will be a birthday he will never forget.

I love this store and so thankful for Marcia's help over the last two years. They stock many specialty items and even have a pet bakery! My hound was always excited to go in for a tasty treat and head scratch. You won't find better deals at Krisers or another comparable pet store. Definitely check it out!

Boutique pet store catering mostly to dogs but with cat supplies as well. There is a resident(?) Scottie there that's adorable. Rather pricey, but a very high quality selection of food. Could use wider variety of cat food (but it is a dog store!) Don't come here if you want Purina or Nutro. I think cheapest brand was "Call of the Wild" for cat food. They have a very interesting selection of fancy accessories for your dog and cat, so if you're looking to treat your pet, this is the place! Owner is helpful and friendly. Make sure you sign up if there's a reward program for your food purchases. This business is nestled right by the 606 in the same building as an archery range and another business. Parking on site in a lot off Kimball.
