Some of the staff have attitude problems, some don't. I will say they have a lot of stuff in their store. Sometimes I come there's stuff everywhere and then there's times I come where it's organized. Today was organized.

The cashier staff is far more polite than previously. It's always a wonderful thing to be greeted when spending your money. There was a woman ahead of me who had a slight issue because the POS wouldn't accept her Apple pay card, but it is set up to accept Apple tap. The cashier was very patient and smiled in a comforting way and the customer she was dealing with left happy and so did I. This is a big step and I appreciate that neither of the two cashiers were on their phone nor rude. Thanks for putting true customer service people on the registers.

I have been going to that store for years and never had a problem. I couldn't take the survey online I guess to system issues. It is a young lady that is new that wear glasses and her hair has twist in them. Yesterday, I went in the store and when I got to the register she charge me for a bag without asking me and I gave it back and then I had ask for my receipt which is not the first time I have to ask for my receipt. She told me take my receipt for the register. What type of customer service is that????

UNPROFESSIONAL, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE , EMPLOYEES WALKING AROUND AND EATING ON THE CLOCK, I HAD TO WAIT A LONG TIME AT THE COUNTER UNTIL I WAS SERVICED. ALL THE EMPLOYEES WERE RUDE AND HAD AN ATTITUDE AND EXTREMELY SMALL PARKING SPACES. I will not be coming back ever.

I walked in there today and there was NOT 1 worker wearing their masks properly. They had them under their chins, around their necks, or not on at all. Even when checking out, my cashier was running her mouth to the other ladies and did not have her mask on with a customer right in front of her. Just sad! Wonder why COVID cases are spiking through the roof. I will not go back to this establishment.

This store is organized & clean most of the time. There's a real nice young P.R. lady that is a cashier. She's VERY helpful. She's always busy doing something. I think her name is Lexi? She deserves a raise, if u ask me. 😊👍

It's in the hood... they ask people to remove their hoodie when they enter the store. I've also heard them tell young children that they can not come in without an adult. But I'm writing this to acknowledge that on most occasions, the person at the cash register has said "hello" when I walked into the store. So kudos to them. I think it's a away to say "Hey... I see you" but it is a good customer service practice that you don't see in practice at a lot of stores. Service with a smile and without an attitude (appearing to be happy and pleasant) goes a long way to improve the atmosphere in a store that services a certain demographic.

Most of the workers are getto, the manager i see most of the there has no business working she as the worst attitude. The only reason I got in that store is because its convient and the prices are decent. Get some better workers in that store and maybe they wouldn't get robbed so often esp men.

First time in this store being new to the neighborhood. This happened today (January 14, 2019) around 4:03pm. When I first Walked in I wasn’t greeted like other family dollars instead an associate bumped into me without saying excuse me. Then the cashier told me “You have to check in your bag” it clearly wasn’t a bag it was a purse and she had a nasty attitude ... I walked right out that store I’ll spend my funds elsewhere. I will contact corporate in the morning. First bad experience here at Family Dollar 2346 E 79th (79th Yates ) new cashiers are definitely needed

I live close to this store and shop there often. The last 8 times I went in there they didn't have any bags. I went in today and still no bags. I asked the manager on duty why they never have bags and she tell me she just had bags for 5 weeks. This is a store, you suppose to always have bags! So I had to walk 2 blocks home carrying an armful of items. Needless to say, I won't be back.

This is the most ghetto Family Dollar i've ever shopped at! I only go here as a last resort! The parking lot is filthy with trash strewn about. There was also a big cardboard box sitting by the door filled with trash! Inside the store is junkie with stock and carts filled with stock waiting for someone to put on the shelves. This place is terrible and seems to be in need of proper management and a good cleaning!😡😡😡

Friendly staff; merchandise organized & easy to locate; shelves were dusted; cheap thin bags provided - advise customers to follow trend & generally supply your own bags when shopping to save money and environment. I took uber but noticed parking lot was as dark as surrounding streets.However store floor FILTHY. Strip and wax the blasted floor Family Dollar Management. Are we not worth a clean store in our neighborhoods??

My new car was side swiped while parked an the carma only views the entry door only luckily I wasn't mugged or stuck - up or raped . The security system concerns is not of customers safety but the safety of the store only I assume all the money the store brings in from the neighborhood costumers aren't worth there safety. Not sure if I will continue shopping there knowing this .

My experience was very bad because of an unprofessional & rude cashier name jaquina if that's really her name I just know she's dark skinned & skinny. I truly believe she has personal issues in her life and it's not my fault as a customer I use to shop there 2-3 times a week but because of her being unprofessional I will NEVER shop there again unless she's gone

It's too small for large inventory it has one thing I know for sure these young ladies are exceptional professional and exceededly observant very patient and an incredible teamplayers the guys,are helpful very professional even while restocking family dollar should come in to observe and train other,stores in region ...the neighbors could truly go elsewhee yet we don't . Their are neighbors you're prices are not expensive tho crowded in your stores you have bargains that don't yell but awesomely priced and this is a south shore community a best kept secret thank u much managers sales people stock guys. Where there is no grocery shopping stores. Congratulations

This store is disgustingly dirty from the floors to shelves. Stock always in the floor placed recklessly on shelves, the door is often time broken as well as the belt on register 1 which has been broken for 2+ years. I have actually seen an employee cleaning her ear with q-tips at the front register. Basically it looks like a crime scene. Management and staff in desperate need of retraining.

It was ok until I spent $50 and COULDN'T get out the door with my merchandise in the cart and the cashier looked at me as if to say.... WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO ABOUT IT!!!!I will be shopping where I can push the cart to my car!!! Everything I had was large, most was too large to put in a bag....Signed... There were employees walking around with no mask harassing me to check my bag! No! It's a pandemic, don't touch my belongings! Tell me to check my bag in Schaumburg! I won't be shopping here again
