I have shopped at this location several times, because of the convenience. However, the store is nasty!!! Items and boxes are all over the store. I have encountered this a few times. Items are stocked in the wrong places with the wrong prices and when you request to get the item for the price shown, because of false advertisement. The manager and/or the assistant manager and some cashiers have nasty attitudes. They claim Family Dollar changed the price over night. They don't know how to talk to or treat the customers. Because Family Dollars are located in black communities, we don't have to be talked to and treated like we don't matter, when we the customes is the ones that keep Family Dollar in our communities in business. Re-train all your stores management team, crew leaders and cashiers once a year in customer service skills to insure that customers experience professional customer service.

Its ghetto and ran down and poorly stocked you are better off going to another family dollar unless you are desperate.

Family Dollar is a blight on inner city communitites as a whole and operates under model that does not serve the these neighborhoods in a positive manner. Poor. Curomer seev over priced goods, dirty interiors that are difficult to move around in. Often time, dangerous for seniors and the disabled to navigate the aslies as they are full of stock this is how this company operates.The store require security because of frequent fights thefts and altercations. Either improve or shut them down people deserve better than this clean up your filth.!

They close when they want too....They say the Dollar General across the street is better, they have 'GREAT' customer service over there!!!! 😉

Not bad.. sometimes the aisles get crowded with merchandise but overall it's decent.. nice employees and clean store.. one thing tho is that they NEVER open on time.. like EVER.. if you're in a pinch, go to the dollar general across the street 👌🏼

I tried to go into this place today since its near home and the lady did a hand gesture signaling they closed and it was only 7:05 pm 😒 and according to this page it says they close at 8 pm. There’s another lady that works here who I am familiar with but she wasn’t their tonight. I feel like they just didn’t want to work if this was a white neighborhood they wouldn’t have closed earlier than listed. What a mess! She has poor customer service.

I was in this store today (Sunday October 7th, 2018 at 2:45 pm) and the lady with the braids yelled at everybody in line and said that we can't get a receipt because the machine doesn't work and that we can't use the other register because they are changing shifts. The guy checking out at that moment really needed a receipt because he was making a purchase for someone else. So the cashier huffed and puffed then said "Well since his butt wants a receipt so bad you all have to wait, so blame him for that!" The older guy looked at her offended and was upset at how rude she was. So I said, "He's supposed to want a receipt. That's part of making a purchase." So the cashier got smart with me and said "That's why I told y'all that you can't get a receipt". After that, the guy just left then the cashiers started talking bad about the guy, calling him cheap and making fun of him for wanting a receipt in front of all the customers. Never have I ever experienced customer service that horrible in my life! Black folks are always claiming that we can't get jobs but the ones that do have jobs don't deserve it and are horrible workers. I hope they get fired or at least get retrained. I'll never go back to that store. I live down the street and I'm telling everyone not to shop there anymore. Going to contact corporate and let them know as well. I should've recorded it and posted it online to embarrass those women for how they treated that poor old man.

Why is it no family answer there phone, which is a big part of customer service, you could be looking for a particular item then walk or drive to that location an that item is not there which could of been avoided just by answering the phone.. And there's no such thing as to busy, I've called bigger stores walmart,jewel, target, etc, etc, an they all seem to be able to answer there phones...

Store was very unorganized for some reason. Employees were very nice but the merchandise was in boxes instead of the shelves. Looks like they need help.

This place is supposed to be open at 7am which is said online or at least 8am which it says on their door. It's 9am and they have the door locked with music blasting while we're standing out here in the cold! Worst family dollar ever. I'm going to the one down the street from now on!

Every time I walk in there it’s unorganized and their employees are so unprofessional. The same associate from the previous review was rude to me and my sister. Clearly she does not care about her job.
