The absolute most nastiest Family Dollar on the south side of Chicago. If you park in they're parking lot you'd better hope it dont flatten one of your tires. And did I mentioned that they never have anything in stock! The employees don't care about they're job at all. Do yourself a favor and go to your nearby Dollar Tree. That way you'll get everything for completely $1 and you may get better service too.

I come here often and every time I come they never have shopping carts. They have all there products set up in front of the store in the shopping carts. I walked the whole store and there was only 4 customers with carts. How is people suppose to shop if there is nothing to put there items in. They are losing money because folks are limited on buying items because they can’t get everything.

They lock the customer entrance and close at 8:30pm so the staff can clock out at 9pm. They dont close at 9pm. Please change the Google hours

I absolutely HATE this Family Dollar now.. Half the food items be EXPIRED, some aisles be damn near empty ALL THE TIME, especially the aisle with disinfectants, etc & the aisle with the medicine, not to mention that NOBODY answers the phone, EVER! Before Vic was murdered in this store, it was much better ran when the last team was here!

Every time I go there I have a fairly normal experience. The one thing I dislike is that in order to reach them or ask about a certain item, you literally have to go up to the store. Everytime you dial their number, it plays a short message then the disconnected tone. Please fix this, save some customers the trouble of making the trip up there just to find out what they need isn't even in stock.

At this store, I found it pretty much very organized, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Did not expect this much out of the neighborhood store. Much better than what it was in the past.

I just left this establishment, and I went into the store at 9:49 PM. Clear, the STORE operations hours states closes at 10 pm! The workers kept saying they close at 9:53 pm (closing in 2 minutes); however, the store operations hours clearly states 10 pm. The so called "manager" which she couldn't differentiate assistant manager or store manager, cause I knew she was most likely the assistant manager, was attempting to tell me that she can do whatever she wants, and was trying to put customers out! They were rude, ghetto, impolite, threatening workers. The woman with the thin black prickly-eyelashes, with the dusty perm rows in her head, is very rude. And her follow coworkers are just like her. If you live in the Woodlawn neighborhood like I have, you know the company hasn't done anything to train their workers, or allowed the incompetent store manager to hire unfit workers. I will be back up there, and she will see my face again! I hope she remember me from tonight, while she was using those disgusting nails to say good-bye!! She nudes to remember the dude with the black fedora and blue-jean jacket, who kept telling them, "Ya'll close at 10 pm!!".

this is the worst family dollar ever this place is so nasty so jus it’s so so nasty so u guys ever clean up and the cashiers was rude to me the lady was like ugh hello ma’am hurry up i don’t have all day right now me and my friend was like ok ok we are sorry we are gonna hurry up it’s just so rude so nasty i wanna sue this place wanna do a court date september 30th 10:30am indemnity as possible .

Please read you're receipt after being check out, I was over charged for an item that was marked down and at first they didn't want to honor it. I asked them can they understand the number 3 from a number 5? Like I can't see and know the difference between the number 3 and number 5. If they wasn't going to honor this item, I would have put it back.

This is the worst family dollar eeeeever. Employees just stand around watching the line, the line be wrapped around the store with only 1 line open while several family dollar associates walk around the store not doing nothing. They don't know their store or their product because every time you ask a question no one knows anything not even the price because they never have prices on anything in the store. The managers of this store are useless as well. This store is in need of a major Customer service re-do because none of the employees have Customer service experience, they suck. This the worst family dollar on the south side of chicago.

Family Dollars has been an awesome resource during the pandemic.it is one of the few places where I feel safe I feel they're taking the proper precautions no more than 10 at a time, they won't let anyone in without a mask, This is so refreshing to me and I feel very safe and secure when I enter. Customer service is great they greet you when you walk in the door. Not all family dollar locations do that!! And the store is very clean and not messy like some Family Dollars I've seen. I love to shop here at this location!!

Unprofessional, never want's to give cash back no matter what time of the day it is I come . Never answer the phone. Lines are too long with one employee working the register and seven other employees walking around talking and acting like there stocking products.That's not true because they are either gone or open !

The lines are so annoyingly long. Service is subpar. They wait until 20 ppl are in line to open more registers. No public restrooms. Stuff sit in the aisles still in boxes then they get upset when you go in the box and get what you need. How sway???😒

This is the biggest Family Dollar I've been to on the south side. The parking lot is kinda odd and there were a lot of unsavory types loitering around the store. Besides that the store was spacious, and the staff was friendly.

(THIS STORE NEED AN ENTIRE NEW STAFF) ITS A BUNCH OF RATCHET, STEALING EMPLOYERS INCLUDING THE MANAGERS WHO CURRENTLY WORK THERE, THEY ALL HAVE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AND IS VERY RUDE & IGNORANT. Store hours state store is open beginning at 7am. I am here at the store at 7:22am and the doors are locked? False information or they do what they want in the hood. I tried to call the store to see when they would be opening but there was no answer. Poor customer service.

I think it's a great store to do your shopping at they have reasonable prices and great cashiers with beautiful personality well most of them lol managers are professional and friendly.
