Purchasing from here was a total mess ! I've never hear of a card for tax exempt and I just used mine yesterday as I do whenever I frequent the franchise ! The manager was zero help none of the employees could tell me how to obtain a tax exemption card for their particular store. 🏬

Supervisor & manager have bad customer service. The young light skin supervisor refused to give me her name when she incorrectly charged me to load my bluebird card. When I mentioned corporate she proceeded to call her manger in front of another customer completing a purchase n tell her the error is my fault, starting insulting me verbally and both refused to give names. Still haven’t heard from corporate.

Online it states that this store opens at 8:00 AM. On the front door there’s a note stating that the store opens at 8:30 AM until further notice. It’s 8:51 AM and the store is still not opened. There’s a line of 8 people waiting outside the door. This is unacceptable, as this store consistently closes before 8:00 PM as well. They either need new management ASAP or a different store if this is consistent with the family dollar brand.

Purchased 3 fans from this location in May and June of 2023. According to Family Dollar's policy on their website items can be returned and exchanged within 30 days of purchase with the original receipt and packaging but several employees (all disrespectful and incompetent) at THIS location (I've exchanged the item to a store who honors the company's policy.) refused to do my exchange including the ASM and the SM stated that an item I purchased on 5/24/23 could not be exchanged on 6/17/23 because "I'd had the item too long." which is a violation of the company's 30 day return policy. Do not shop here unless you have no other option. The customer service is terrible and clearly the staff is rude and ignorant. Save yourself the trouble and head to Five Below or another FD or DG. I personally will never be shopping at this location ever again. All they hire are ghetto uneducated birds. Buyers beware. If you want to be treated with respect and given proper customer service then please take your money somewhere else.

Store is dirty as hell and shelves are never fully stocked, but the employees stay chit‐chatting with eachother at the front of the store...one of the worst Family dollars I've ever been to.

This store is under horrible management. I visited this store for the first time on November 7th at approximately 7:10 AM. When I arrived, to my surprise when pulling the door handle it was locked. I didn’t see any employees at that time, but the gate was open. I then sat back in my car and proceeded to call with no answer. At that time (about 7:11 AM) another car pulled up and two ladies walked to the door. At that point an employee walks to the door, says something to them and walks away. The girls tried pulling the handle a few times with no luck. I then waited a few more minutes and called again. (Now 7:20 AM) with a answer this time, I’m assuming I was speaking to a manager. I simply asked what time they opened and he said “we normally open at 7:00 AM, but I’m still waiting on my cashier.” As a manager, key holder or supervisor, if “your cashier hasn’t come in yet” you get on the register until the cashier arrives and not have customers waiting outside. Now another vehicle has pulled up and we are all waiting in our vehicles. I left at 7:30 AM, without being able to enter the store. This was a complete inconvenience for me. Wasting my gas and most importantly time. I chose to come to this store this early because I had a very early schedule and on the website it said that they opened at 7:00 AM. Not with the exception of the cashier being on time. If a key holder is on duty there goes the cashier in my humble opinion.

It’s been 3 separate occasions where I have been to this store and it’s been closed before the actual closing time, the prices posted and what they ring up on the register are different and then they don’t want to give the item to you at the price that’s posted this is my last time coming to this particular family dollar store.

I returned an electronic item and first I was told that there was no refund on any electronics I said it doesn't state this on the receipt nor is it posted in here furthermore this is unopened so then I was told that I could only get it back on a gift card I didn't pay for it with a gift card but then the cashier lady called someone over the alleged manager and that person said to give me cash I didn't appreciate the 2 lies that I was told by the alleged manager and the behavior that the alleged manager displayed reminded me of someone trying to steal I WISH I DIDN'T HAVE TO GIVE A 1 STAR RATING BECAUSE IT WOULD BE ZERO

Family Dollar was surprisingly clean everybody stayed in their spacesurprisingly the counter was sanitized after each customer left however I do steal the field that they need a shield in front of them for their protection and ours.
