Employee here are horrible! Very rude and horrible customer service! I have had several bad experiences here and I decided against writing a bad review! But today I’m going to share those experiences. The first bad experiences was a few years ago I went in this store to grab a few things and had to use the restroom of course this location doesn’t have public restrooms for customers so I had no choice but to go outside. After I relieved myself I cane back in to finish my shopping and when I tried to re enter I was told I can’t come back in! I asked is the store closed I was genuinely confused. I was told no and that was banned from the store!!! By a young lady named Ashley if I’m remembering correctly I asked how was I banned from this place and for what reason she said she didn’t know! I requested to speak to the manager the manager came and I posed the same question. She said that someone said I stole something so I can’t come to this store anymore. I said that’s untrue I didn’t steal nor have I ever stolen anything from this place I demanded that the review there video and then they said okay you can come in. I was beyond upset and offended. I was going to report it to corporate but decided that I didn’t want to cause that young lady to lose which was probably her first job. The next incident was me arriving 15-20mins before closing time to be welcomed by locked doors and the employee saying that there closed while there in the store socializing and laughing. The same thing happened again today! Why advertise that your store closes at 8pmOnly for employees to close it earlier than that ? Is this company policy ?

I got back to the states after been gone many years to find out this place got destroyed stuff hurt man this place was a key memory I grew up not having much and this was all we could afford I remember coming here with a with a whole bunch of dimes and nickels and being so embarrassed but the employees were so sweet and never made me feel like I was a bother rest easy family dollar lake and Chicago gone and reduced to dust but as long as I live this place will forever live in the memory

I would like to thank the young lady an young man for being so professional, also helpful. Other customers were giving them a hassle about cashback and the young lady told me...lol "The line is over there"...😄😂😂😂😂 had a few laughs with them an those two are awesome, each time I visit this establishment its always a good experience.Keep up the good work. I had a terrible experience at this store. Not professional, need more staff and it's dirty. If you were looking for happy customers despite of, you lost a few good ones. We will no longer come to this store!

Under different management with a different atmosphere, we couldn't believe that this was the same location that we used to frequent when we live in the community!! Great job, people!!

Has a malleable Manager! He's bound by not doing anything to improve. He respects and does what he's told.With a business or a management position I'd recruit his to watch and learn what he's capable of given space and a voice!

The manager is unprofessional and will take a young pretty face in front of you. The store stays in a mess the lines are ridiculous and they have a million boxes of product on the floor on pull carts and nothing on the shelves and they will tell you they don't have it like you can't read.

This is the only family Dollar close to me. I love the Manager Will. But a lot of the time it is crowded and the cashiers move really slow. Could use some improvement.

The store close at 8:00 PM But when I got there in 7:25 He didn’t let us go in and he told me sorry we close Then want to ask him why he told me I want to close and 7:20 Like this is he’s store

3 mangers on duty and been in here a HR trying to get a refund!!! Then the man came out here with an attitude...His name is WILLIAM... THE cashier Victoria was doing what she could to get him to come do it he came out and went back in....poor customer service

This family dollars have employees thats very rude and disrespectfull they argue with the customer very unprofessional they have attitude when you ask about a item at the store its like they don't want you to ask any questions they curse be on there phones they need new employees would not recommend this store to anybody

The cosmetics of the place especially when you first walk in was terrible, I only continued in because it was convenient because I was on public transportation. It was too junkie inside. But nice and friendly staff.
