Who is the district manager overseeing operations at this Family Dollar store? It's quite evident that the computer system is constantly experiencing issues, leading to inconvenience for customers. It's disheartening that they only accept cash payments and further frustrate customers by charging an additional fee for using the in-store ATM. The store's frequent closures due to computer system problems leaves room for improvement and creates an opportunity for enhanced customer experience. Adding this place has been closed for over 3 weeks “due to flooding” the employees here have horrible attitudes. I’m never coming here again!!!

Didn't like the fact that they insisted I put my daughters diaper bag at the front of the store. I'd rather have someone follow me around the store with her than have her bag on the dirty ground. Besides that the store was ok I just wish they had better deals on saucepans.

The store is never open. It always says “sorry closed.” no stores over here that are affordable. It needs to be more consistently open for the people in this community.

The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and they usually have anything that you are looking for. I would stop here if I am ever need some last minute items.

This store I feel is beyond help I say this because the customer service is the absolute worst, case in point I witnessed a senior citizen being treated disrespectfully by a young woman. When the senior requested to speak to the manager, she identified herself as the manager. I then inquired was Abel still the manager, she stated "He's the strore manager, I'm the assistant". Wow, she was oblivious to the the chain of command! Family Dollar corporate needs to restructure this location . The store is dirty, disorganized, limited products and last but not least the most horrible customer service, I flat out refuse to shop there again. It's truly unfortunate that this is like the only neighborhood location to pick up odds and ends.

I don't understand how their business hours suppose to be from 8am to 10pm. EVERY SINGLE DAY they open AFTER 9:30am and close early on most days. I wish I had the number to corporate office about this. This is bad for business and is very unprofessional. I could understand opening up a few minutes late but a whole 1 hour and 30 plus minutes late is unacceptable everyday is a NO! I hope someone in upper management see this review does something about this.

This Family Dollar is quite large....but dirty. The customer service is horrible. I stood at the register for at least 45 seconds until the customer service duties she decided to acknowledge me. She said that she was trying to "save her work at a case by case basis. The sweeping, dusting is non existent and there seem to be random people not buying anything, hanging out by the register out in the store. The next time I need something from Family Dollar, I'll just hold out until I can go further west to the western suburbs. Too bad I have to

This store suppose to open at 8am but was late opening. Employees were inside the store but for some reason did not open on time. I called inside the store and no one answered. Its bad for buisness and sad stores like this in the black community can't open on time. The employees here need to do better or be replaced with more reliable people!!

At this Family Dollar they are always trying to find a way to get the customers out of the store in a timely manner far as I'm concerned I rate them three stars actually I'm on my way up there now thanks for closing at 9.

They do not have enough registers open in the store be really crowded then she like today date is June 10th 2017 is hot people that have bad water juice a lot of stuff because it's hot and they only have one register open and you get like 20 people in one lying

I love Family Dollar its just the one on Madison n kildare Ave is just nasty the floors need to be cleaned only in our neighborhood is stores just messy as long as they get ypur money though. If we don't stand up for our own we will fall everytime for mess 🙈🙉🙊 is the only thing we stand on.#timetostand

We need more Family Dollar Stores in our neighborhood. You can find just about everything that your family needs. Food, clothing, household needs, health and beauty aids, medicine for colds and flu and other ailments.

I can find every thing I need here from food to clothing house hold needs pet needs electronic beauty supply i love it.and is close by very convenient I don't know what I'll do with out it hope it stays here forever. Thank you .

This place is always crowded at the registers. It's always sloppy looking & the workers are not very nice. I asked help from a manager once and he couldn't help me with anything. He knew nothing about his store. Sad

I will never shop at that location ever again. The workers are rude and unprofessional. I was there earlier today the line was all the way to the back of the store, there was one worker at the register and 3 workers were outside smoking cigarettes. I went to one of them and asked can someone open another register and was told that they were all on break. SMH. Extremely poor service

The customer service is awful I do not recommend anyone to go they open the store when they get ready they always have attitudes even the managers let the workers talk to you any old kind of way I will not be going to Family Dollar anymore I will go out of my way not to go there again and if you tried to call the customer service corporate they will not answer they just want you to write a review I don't recommend any stars but I have to put something in order to post

Close it and rebuild for Dollar General, a lot of homeless ppl on the side of the store and a lot negative activity. Workers complaining and Management just brand new. Asap asap
