Earth pups does a phenomenal job with my dog’s grooming. My dog has never had better groomers! Both Mel and Destiny have truly impressed me and deliver consistent, quality results and worked with me in the beginning to customize the cut I wanted - even when I didn’t know what I wanted. Every time, my dog comes out looking and smelling his best. I plan to take him here for a very long time and am so happy to have this great place in my neighborhood! I can’t wait to try out the daycare next! Thank you, Mel and Destiny!

I don’t have a pup, but I saw a rather apparent review from one who lacks the opposable thumbs to type their own review. This lady was dropping off her gorgeous dachshund in the morning and they were on a retractable leash, the dog beelined it to the door, stuffing their nose right into the door while mom was closing up the car. Clearly the pup loves it here and was super excited to go to daycare. The pup kept looking back as if to say “MOM! Hurry up!” It was absolutely adorable and clearly is the best endorsement of such a facility you could ask for.

I cannot say enough good things about Earth Pups! As a first time dog mom, I worried about sending my pup to the perfect daycare and Earth pups has gone above and beyond what I expected. The staff loveeee the dogs and treat them like their own! My pup is always so excited to walk in the door and exhausted, in the best way, when I pick her up. I recommend EP to every dog parent I know. I also love the daily updates on their instagram stories to see what fun the pups are getting into!

We LOVE Earth Pups for our 7lb dog! We mostly bring her for overnight stays (not daycare) because the trek from our home is about 30 minutes, but it's worth it to know she is safe and surrounded by other dogs her size when we're out of town. We also get her groomed onsite and they always do a fabulous job. Highly recommend for tiny dog owners and I only wish that one day a second location will open closer to Rogers Park or Evanston ;)

We love Earth Pups and their commitment to small dogs. Other dog hotels/day cares do not always understand or respect the specialized care that small dogs require. It is great and comforting to have Earth Pups as an option to send our dog while we travel abroad. Other daycares let small dogs roam alongside and get trampled by bigger dogs. Since earth pups specializes in small breeds, we always rest assured that our dachshund will be alongside dogs of her size and in the safe hands of Earth Pup’s kind staff. They also don’t mind a dog that likes to bark here and there, which not every daycare will do. Other daycares may make snide comments about dogs barking too much. Earth Pups is a stand alone location with no tenants above them, so you do not have to worry about your dog getting rejected for simply barking too often. We love this place and it is the only daycare we use in Chicago.

Earth Pups is a great place to board your small dog. They are a facility that specializes in dogs under 20lbs. My dog Luna loves it there and has spent many days in daycare/boarding. She always comes home clean and the staff is very responsive and nice!

Such a great place for small dogs. All the workers are super nice and you can tell they enjoy working with all the little dogs. We’ve been happy to take Tito there for a few years and they do a great job with daycare, extended overnight stays, and grooming.

Love the owners and staff! You can totally tell they LOVE all of our babies almost as much as we love them. My pugs get groomed here to get ready for the summer (we shave them to help with the heat.) We've never had a bad experience here, from treats to daycare to grooming they have done everything excellently and we will continue to go there.

Been taking my dog here since Jan 2020. Always felt my pup was well taken care of. He always came home exhausted. I moved to Michigan end of 2020 but every time I’m in Chicago with my now 2 pups, I bring them in for daycare!

Our dogs positively love and adore Earth Pups. They get very excited when they realize that's their destination for either doggie day care or boarding. The staff is positive and caring and the dogs genuinely seem to enjoy their visits to Earth Pups.

'm writing as a neighbor of the business not a client. First, the business does not keep up with the property in the alley. Cords, pieces of their fence and trash have been collecting behind their business for months. The RCN business truck was recently out there doing work and left tons of cut wires on the ground. Sure RCN should've cleaned it, but that was weeks ago and they are still there, on top of broken pieces of their fence.Second, today I witnessed an employee (in an Earth Pup's Shirt) throw her cigarette butt into Belmont after finishing her smoke break and returning to the store. How can an employee of a company that promotes natural food, remedies, etc... litter?Third, I understand the dogs are going to bark when they are outside in the back. That's not a problem. However, the employees don't realize that their voices carry and no one wants to hear them SCREAMING at the dogs to shut up. Another neighbor hit their fence the other day after a good 10 min of constant barking and employees screaming and the employee's response was to yell "We'll keep them out here all f**king day then" How unprofessional?Overall, they are terrible neighbors and I would NEVER take my dogs there. If they can't take care of their business, why would you trust themwith your beloved dog?

Hey there, I stole my dad's computer to write a quick review. I'm Franklin, I moved here two years ago and it was really "ruff" for me. I don't know; there are just so many scary things in this new city. Nonetheless, I found a nurturing place that my parents take me to when they're at work all day. Julie is my super hero, she takes great care of me. She remembers my name each and every time I'm dropped off. Talk about intentionality-- it just means a lot to me. I just love to come here and play with my little friends; we keep it wild dog style. The staff never gets bummed out when I do a nervous poop in their lobby, they just graciously help me out and make sure to let me know that I'm a good boy. What a fantastic place I've found--one where I can receive similar care to that of my parents. Thanks Earth Pups!

If I could give NEGATIVE STARS I would.At end of July, I went out of town. Took my loving Boston Terrier for a whopping 4 days. Dropped her on Friday morning, picked her up on Tuesday morning. The place is supposed to be just for dogs 20lbs and under. They claim to do behavioral studies of each dog before letting them stay there.Well I picked up my dog on Tuesday, she wouldn't open her right eye and had puss coming out of it. I asked what happened the response from the employee was "Oh we noticed that". So took her to the Vet. Vet said she was attacked by another dog scratching her eye bad. Immediate meds and antibiotics given, but it did not improve. Actually got worse. The Animal Eye surgeon specialist now says she has permanent vision loss and we may have to remove her eye completely.Contacted Earth Pups to get their videos to see if we can see the incident so as to better treat the dog. They initially said they would review and let me know. But this morning, no review, just a letter to contact their attorney!! Anyone else think they screwed up bad and are hiding it???I mean, why not give us any records or videos that may help. Such as, which dog attacked her, the shot records of that dog, maybe contact the owner of the offending dog and see if we can test the paws for bacteria that might be the cause of the infection.. .. NO they would rather LAWYER UP and let my baby suffer!!IN other words, I am saying NEVER EVER EVER take your loving dogs to EARTH PUPS on Belmont!!!! Horrid!! Earth Pups will never get my business or recommendation again. I would suggest if you truly love your dog, don't take them to Earth Pups....Why hide the information, when it could help the health and recovery of a loving dog? I guess you don't really love dogs, but love protecting your backside more! Oh yeah, as soon as my baby is healthy, I will contact your attorney!!!*** UPDATE ****Through their attorney, we received statements from all the employees. All said they saw nothing.So I am not sure if they are all working together to cover up something. OR WORSE, they didn't see an incident that left my dog blind in one eye, despite their watching and caring for my dog being THEIR JOB!!! So they either are lying or just suck at their job. I mean this wasn't a little thing. My baby dog is now BLIND in one eye. The risk of losing it still remains as now that we finally figured out the bacterial infection, it seems Surgery is set for this week.They saw nothing, I see my baby suffering and a $4,000 bill for meds, vet visits and surgery, let alone the time off of work needed to care for my baby girl.I will be posting another photo showing the deep gash to the Cornea.#### UPDATE #2On Aug 14, we took our sweet girl in for surgery to put a graft over the eye where the massively deep laceration was. The graft had appeared to be holding and doing well. The checkup on the 21st went well, although she still had no sight we were hopeful as things seemed to be improving.This morning in the wee hours of 8/23, a large 'YELP" came from my little girl. Blood and liquid was rushing out of her eye. It had ruptured. Emergency surgery is going on at present to completely remove the eye.All professionals that have seen the eye, the bruising around it, etc. All say that it wasn't a little love tap in a game, but a strong attack from another dog. Earth Pups still reports they saw no such attack.So If you care for your dogs, think hard and long about ever taking them to Earth Pups, it is obvious that (even if they are truthful that they didn't see anything) they don't pay attention to keep your pets safe. Mine now has lost her eye forever because of their carelessness and negligence. I trusted my baby girl to their care, and now she has lost her right eye for it.

Our pup, Jackson, is always excited when he gets to Earth Pups, so we are comfortable knowing that he is happy being there. He runs to the staff person greeting him and forgets about us! We go on vacation and so does he! Thank you Earth Pups.

Love this place! Dog food ranges from 12-24 and is all local dog food. Treats are also great and have a great selection for picky fur pups.
