The location had a change in management about 6 months ago and ever since it has went downhill. The store used to be pretty organized and you can find exactly what you want. Now It is cluttered, the evening manager has an attitude, she yells at her employees. There's always a line that she is unable to assist with while her workers Are there struggling to check people out in a timely fashion. Furthermore, I just went there today and they close an hour early because they said they had a theft. And she states her manager knows about it. It's a retail store people steal, why is that cause to shut the store down??Management has improved. No longer closing store 1+ hour early. They still need help with inventory. Always stepping over boxes and stuff

The staff was so helpful. Also a young man outside cleaned up some trash outside near my car so I didn't have to step in it or over it to exit my car in the handicap spot.

THE PLACE WAS VERY CLEAN AND WELL-ORGANIZED. THE STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. I HAD A GREAT SHOPPING EXPERIENCE THERE AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS STORE.

This dumb manager got the store door locked again way before closing. Someone need to explain the meaning of store Hours to her. Running away customers. Cant even rely on the door being open. And she in there looking Under the influence, with that same ratty wig she has had on at least last 6 months. Very unsanitary, she in there scratching her head then touching all the merchandise!

I like this Dollar Tree it's convient for me...the manager had a little problem from one of the customer's today...It was only over $7...I didn't hear the entire conversation but I think it got a little out of hand for $7...I really think the manager should have handled the situation a little differently....like giving the customer the $7 and calling it a day....They have reorganized this store and it looks great....The cashier's are always very Friendly and nice.....and it clean.

The store was stocked with a variety of items. I've visited several stores that were understocked. I went before noon and I didn't encounter individuals asking "can you spare?" The store was clean and organized. The workers were professional and helpful. Thank U!

I went to this particular dollar tree on 79th and western..Everything was going great until I got to the register and the cashier was on the phone didn't want to speak and her disposition was unattractive. If you don't want to work and give customer service then do us all a favor and stay home . I will still go here but I wouldn't get in her line if she's still there.

This dollar store is so-so. You can find some unique items but some of the basic items are hardly in stock. But to be fair, as of this review, they now have a new manager. Hopefully, things will improve over time.

Today on July 29, one of the employees just locked the Door at 8:30pm and Dollortree closes at 9:00pm "thats really terrible" 👎👎👎

This dollar tree is horrible. The workers are pretty reasonable and personable however there is always a ton of trash in front of this location. The garbage can is literally always over flowing onto the side walk. I always ask about this and the reply is they usually empty once a month . Ridiculous

I went here because someone told me it was nice inside.......not the case here. I was very junky and had boxes everywhere. Basically the store was in disarray. I went to check out and when the cashier told me my price in my head I'm thinking why is my stuff this much but seeing she had a line and she was rushing ringing my things up and I was on the bus, I didn't say anything. When I got home it was weighing on my mind too much so I counted my items and it turns out she overcharged me $3.00. First and very last time I will visit this dollar tree location. Word of caution: Don't buy too much stuff unless you want to get double rung for it.

The female clerk at the Dollar tree on 79th and Western and approximately 1:15 was superb she provided outstanding excellent customer service above and beyond the call of duty and help me out immensely and was very very friendly oh my God made me feel like the most special customer that ever came to your store she act like you going to pay her $1,000 an hour

This Dollar Tree was clean, but didn't have some of the things I was looking for 🤔 so I was a lil sad. But tomorrow I'll try again but a different location. I love Dollar 🌳

Finally checking out this dollar tree that's been here a month. I found the location Clean and we'll organized with alot of decorations towards the front. One cash register was open but manager opened up along with another employee. I liked the fact That this location like a few places on the Southside didn't require checking in my book bag. Of course there's always a $.7 Chicago bag tax. Overall Great experience found the female on the cash register very friendly.

I love Dollar Tree! They have so many name brand items, and AWESOME items for a $1.00. My problem is that I go there to buy about 3 items, and end up spending about $30. Love this store!

The store could be a lot cleaner and have more people on staff to ring out the customers the line was ridiculous long with only one person working. Where was his help. Not a good way to run a business

Dollar tree on 79th western,nice,clean,well stocked,cashier tht waited in me,very professional,but the other cashier who was also doing balloons,very ignorant,unprofessional,loud!!!!!! No other sound n store but her mouth,guess cuz ddnt feel like workin!..customers wanted balloons,all they did was go over there,she shouted at them sayin they cldnt go over there,another customer asked for balloons,she henced and shouted tht if wld hold on she wld get balloons,she then commenced wailing tht wirds oh my god,help me etc......just unnecessary,it was still quiet in store,her voice was the only irritating sounds being heard,its always calm in tht store,i hv no idea where she came from or why was hired with tht demeanour

The cashier who I believe was the manager was rude, disgruntled and disrespectful!..She was complaining because it was the start of the day and I gave her a $20 bill and she had to give me change. She complained and grumbled through the whole transaction and never gave me a thank you or come again!..I have experienced her rudeness before, but today was the last time!...Really bad customer service!!!
