This is our first time visiting this dollar tree. It's your typical dollar tree. They had everything in stock and the store wasn't crowded.They seemed to be short staffed because there were not any employees on the floor and only one at the register.

things are not how they used to be when I shopped here years ago and i would go here whenever i came from Sam's club. The aisles are messy and full of boxes and the new person in charge who i think is the store manager always has an attitude. she does not know how to speak to her workers at all. no one should be talked to like that. To be a manager you have to learn how to talk to people and if you cannot do that then you do not need a job.

2nd person In line 25 mins problem with 1st cust cre crd. Had a home repair visit in 15 mins. Complained to cashier. She stated you waiting with everybody else. But the people behind me fled to another line. Then she didnt hand me the 2 chapsticks so I had to return back to store for them. She'll get minimum wage pay all her life unless she learns empathy.

**DOLLAR TREE CORPORATE PLEASE CONTACT**Store #642I am a frequent shopper at this location because I have lived within the area for 11 years, and I ave great services here normally. In my experiences, I have NEVER received such distasteful service from a store manager at the register as I did today.The manager, Christi, proceeded to argue (YES, i said argue) with my grandmother about how she wanted her items bagged. When I proceeded to correct her after hearing enough while on the phone, she told me “I’m doing my job here - you all can shut up.”When i told her to watch her mouth and began to use profane language myself, she called over another store associate (Tammy - amazing customer service to us), to finish ringing us up as she went into her office and proceeded to talk about us as if we could not hear her voice.When i asked for her name and store number, she told me “I do not have to give you that information because you won’t talk about me to corporate.”Other shoppers who shop here frequently and live within the area said that it wasn’t the first time they have seen or received such distasteful service.I do not pay taxes towards this community to receive such distasteful service from a store manager that seemed as if she did not want to be at work, or does not have the proper administrative training (as I myself work in management and administration).

One of the worst dollar tree's on the Southside. Shelves are always empty and messy. Boxes stacked, no one ever stocks the shelves. Rude employees too.

Today a older men who works the register at this store was not only rude but stated a racist remark to me. while ringing me up my total came up to 1716 and he made a comment stating 1716 was A great year it was the start of america. when he stated this he had a wicked smile on his face it bother me so bad once I made it to the car I look up 1716 and this what I found.1716 - The first group of black slaves is brought to the Louisiana territory.I shop here often however I will no longer shop here and plan on calling in to report this

There are well stocked but there are some things that they just don't seem to have like the 18 inche wreath forms and the African American elves I have been looking everywhere in Chicago and can't find them

The store was clean well-lit cashier was very friendly and welcoming to the customers. I've been the other Dollar Trees where they've had stock all clutter in the aisles. you had to walk around boxes to obtain and item that you're looking for.

This was my first time visiting this store and it will be the last. The store is scheduled to close at 8pm. I arrived at 7:47pm to locked doors. The girl who unlocked the door seems to have been pretty nice, so from this point forward she is excluded from this review. When I walked in though, there was a girl to the left. She must have been the person in charge. She stared at me and said, "you got five minutes!" I ignored her. Then at 7:51pm she announces over the store broadcast "The time is 7:57, we are closing in three minutes so bring your things up to the register for checkout." I said loud enough for her co-worker to hear me "it's only 7:51". As I'm standing in the candy aisle looking for M&Ms, I decide to ask the worker passing by for help. She never opened her mouth. She just pointed to the bottom shelf and kept walking. Finally, as I go to pay for my stuff the "five minutes" Nazi rings me up and only says "your receipt is in the bag". I just walked out peacefully. This is the first review that I have ever written anywhere. Service was that bad. The attitudes on display were a showcased masterpiece of well-executed stereotypes. It was the worst customer service experience in the history of bad customer service experiences. I guess I'll have to take the further drive next time to the dollar store in Merrionette Park where a smile isn't frowned upon.

Just left this Location and it was by far one of the best Dollar Trees I've shopped at. The cashier Taj was very professional even while dealing with a very difficult customer prior to taking me. GREAT JOB! Though there are other Dollar Trees closer to where I live I'll definitely travel just to visit this location.

Thereafter were very helpful and polite. The stor was organized well, easy to fi d what I wS looking for. The store was fully stocked, handicapped parking available for disabled customer. I will be going back.

The store was very well organized, though small. The range of items was as complete as any other store, however. The store clerks were very friendly and helpful, and the store, itself, was very clean inside.Paid street parking is available; this location is quite easily accessible by public transportation. There are very lovely street lamps and lights in this Chicago neighborhood of Beverly Hills.

Awful parking. Congested. Can't take carts out of store. Not accomadating for the disabled to shop and bring items our of the store into the lot. Hard to carry many and heavy items from store to car. Was charged twice for same item and I only purchased one.There were two supervisors last visit. The original one woman there on January was rude, sarcastic, and didn't care that I have a disability. I had to make a few trips to the lot to bring the large order o purchased to my car. So you can't buy more than you can carry. Having spinal problems, the 3 liter pop was too heavy. And I was in pain. The bag ripped open. I lost a cell phone charger.I went back in March to get only a couple things. But had more. The new 2nd supervisor was so nice. It was like day and nite. But who knows when she will be there. Besides area is highly congested, and it's difficult to maneuver your car to get parking spaces, and to back out of your parking spot within the lot. The street next to it is blocked off. Rainbow cone is next to it, they have a very small parking lot. The busy street and tight lot, makes it prone to get into a car accident. I avoid that area now. Ever since the strip mall was built across Western Ave., where the was a lovely golf course, across the street, It has been a nightmare to drive around there. .It was much better when the dollar store was in the huge lot near SAM'S club.It costed me $200.00, more in a parking ticket years ago, when on 95th, could see but one sign and found out it was restricted all the way to the corner. That location took a huge chunk of curb parking, and on Western Ave.This one on Western Avenue, has a filled day time lot, and it costs in car repair from scraps, on my car, or other cars. No savings to shop at this dollar store. Not worth the hassle.Went back one more time with someone to help me carry items to my car, this past summer. and get a couple items. Other person drove. Never did go inside . Parking lot congested and tight squeeze. Driver bumped into another car. Never again.I found a dollar store on Kedzie, that lets you take carts to your car, and parking is easy and the lot is by the door. Nice and very helpful staff. Will continue to go to the Mt. Greenwood dollar store.

The supervisor of the Store "Beth" was working the register and she was extremely rude. I came into to do simply load money onto my card. Chime and Green Dot cards can be loaded at Dollar Tree Locations. When I went to ask her to load my card she said she is not familiar with Chime cards and can not load my card. I explained that Chime cards can be loaded at green dot locations and I listed other Dollar Tree locations that accept it to let her know this is indeed something they do. She refused to load my card and told me she we not informed by Dollar Tree about this. My friend also explained to her that Dollar Tree loads both Chime and Green Dot cards. Anywhere that green dot is accepted the chime load up is available as well. She started to become very angry and began to raise her voice at my friend.We will be reaching put to corporate about her unprofessionalism and refusal to load my card.She needs to be briefed on store policy and what cards the can load money on before holding the position of Supervisor.

Worst experience and customer service ever. Everytime you go into this store there is a different policy never anything in writing. Try to talk to the manager and just as childish and unprofessional as the other staff. Ruined my morning in this store. It's nasty the windows are nasty and the employees are all nasty. Do not waste your time at this store every time I go in here the workers are having a problem with customer. They need to train the staff or something very unfortunate is going to happen in this store.

The two African American ladies working 9/25/19 around 5:30 pm were extremely rude. The manager which we spoke to allowed the other worker to handle a line of over 7+ people!! And purposely turned her light off to not attract customers to her station! My wife is a teacher and purchased 8 items for her classroom three days before. We tried to exchange the items and were laughed at while inquiring information about the exchange. We had a receipt for half the items but could not find the other receipt and the representatives laughed with each other and other shoppers about “ well it’s just not gonna happen so bye have a nice day” in an extremely rude voice.. being residents of the Beverly evergreen park area we will not be returning to this unprofessional dollar tree. When asked if they could look up the transaction by card the manager said “ this ain’t target this dollar tree” exactly why I will refrain from shopping there. Just because you are 40+ working at dollar tree doesn’t mean you should have an attitude with others.

The Dollar Tree on 87th off the Dan Ryan expressway was not my favorite today the DollarTree near 95th street on Western is sooo much better, it's more organized and there's a larger variety of choices. The worst part of this one is the doors they are hard to open when you're carry a lot of items.

The store manager is very disrespectful...she threat me and my mom with a gun...she sprayed aerosol all over us and my mom has breathing issues as it is...if you considering goung too this store...DON'T...not because of my own personal experience but because of the lack of respect...the manager even actually told us that their not here too accommodate us...oh wow! I just made my complaint this morning...

How is every one good I hope.My niece took me to Dollar tree they have name brand Items cranberry juice the big ones they have freezer foods and the sneaker bar ice cream cups I love those the real frosted flakes, Raisin brand cereal , and all kinds of foods.also they have many kinds o f fourth of July Items everything you want to match for your holiday decor, they have Pretty silver that looks real but Plastic must see,and much more for all your Picnic and barB,Qs and sandals all sizes and colors.So if you're just driving through and need some thing fast it's all right there.9255,so Western .in chicago.niceee Mrs P ur" senior shopper.
