I tried calling several different times to see if they had an item at the store, and Noone answers the phone. The one thing that I'm worried about is that, if they dont answer the phone and they go there and find out the item isn't there, it's a wasted trip because they not only didn't answer the phone but they wasted gas also.

The store is messy, aisles are cramped, and on more than one occasion, employees vented profanities about management. Of which, I can understand. This store is ran very poorly. For instance, all the lights are on, the sign says open, but the doors are locked. 8:30pm on 10/02/2023.

This store is such a blessing to the North Chicago community especially those that live on the other side of town.It is kind of unfortunate though this location can't seem to keep carts! We need to do better on a resolution to this for other paying customers who need a cart just as mush as others do! Very good on stocked shelves andrestocking shelves quickly.At times staff need to be more attentive to front area where customers are entering and exiting.

The store is never opened on time always 30 mins late or more. The workers are rude and the store is always a mess. They never have a full stock also they keep alot of products in the back probably to keep people from stealing. They need a more responsible management

Why are you closed! Your not suppose to close until 9pm it’s 845 and there are closed with 2 cars remote started in the drive way don’t waste your time here

It's just convenient because I live close by, but it's messy, always 1 cashier with a long line, some employees rude AF, never have anything..... the stock still be in the back packaged up, they are in desperate need of more employees, and when I do go I usually see a lot of stealing and they just walk straight out the door no one cares

They have alot of variety. The people that work there are helpful and nice. But, they close when ever they want to. I've been there a few times at 8pm and the doors were locked. Disappointing.

Because they are the closest to a grocery store that North Chicago has,they literally can't keep the food on the shelves or in the coolers. Bless their heart, they do the best that they can. Sadly Mayor Rockingham won't allow a grocery store to open in North Chicago, without giving the Mayor some sort of payment to open a big business in North Chicago. Instead of offering big businesses incentives, he wants money from the Corporations, and they refuse to play his game. So thanks to Dollar General, North Chicago finally has the closest they will ever get to a grocery store.So, understand if they are overly busy when you go their, they are supplying all the food for the local residence, while fending off repeated shoplifters, who shoplift in bulk and sell the items throughout North Chicago.Quit stealing from the only grocery store you have, you idiots! And quit stealing their shopping carts!

Great place to pick up nonessensials household items. Not truely a Dollar store. However, there are a lot of items that sales for $1. Great value for your money.
