Sale items were available. Staff greeted all and was very courteous and offered assistance without being asked. Sale utdms were available and my checkout was fast and accurate.My only complaint is that the store lacks appeal. Youre nit deawbbyo browsing due to its dull Lighting which makes it look as though its covering up for other isdyes and this store, like all that I've infreqyentky visited lacks shopper appeal, counter service and checkout appeal. It looks thrown together.

It is one of the larger Dollar Generals. It has been there for many years. It was clean & neat. Plenty of parking. I had not been here in a very long time. There was not any help to find products. There was one person on the floor in plane clothes & one working the register. I had to walk around almost the entire store to find what I needed... When I found what I needed, it had a digital coupon attached to it. I was able to use the coupon & get the item for $1 less than the orginal cost of the product after taxes. The cashier was very helpful!

Typical DG. The employees could be a little more friendly but I sometimes understand especially since so many ppl go in just to take items without paying. Normally pretty stocked though so I can't complain

They have their stuff in but they put all the items in one isle and you cannot get what you need from that isle.and they need more helper to unpacked what they got in cause I for one wanted some water and juice and couldn't get either cause they was still on the rack.THIS IS THE DOLLARS GENERAL ON 126TH AND HALSTED. GOD BLESS GET SOME MORE PEOPLE'S IN THERE TO HELP OUT.

Dollar general is pretty much dollar general. Only reason I couldn't give 5 stars is the overall cleanliness of this location needs some attention. Cashier was friendly and chattered away good naturedly while she rang me up, was all in all a good experience

Place was kinda dirty, not a good selection like at other stores. I asked about a universal remote, the dude behind the counter says it's 11.00 that's the best your gonna find. When at other stores you can get it for 6.99. just felt like I was trying to be scammed

They supposed be open at 8am. After 9:20am they were not open on Saturday. People were gathering around the entrance cluelessly. But most of all I always have terrible experience with this particular Dollar General. Workers are unfriendly. Unhelpful. Or should I say they are scary. They dont want to be asked anything even for price check or location for products. One time I made an un-smooth transactions at checking out, my cashier rolled her eyes and shrugged her arms up in the air. God knows what she was saying under her breath. So she called a manager (? I think that's what she is, but she looks so angry all the time) But she didnt help the tension to go away. As matter of a fact she added.You know business ethics supposed to be let customers feel comfortable to shop. But not here. The vibe of this store is, it is their (dollar general workers) joints. And they let you shop there. Don't bother their time.Too bad, around where I live, this Dollar General is the largest and have more items. I do not recommend this location till something got change.

Lots of things . Lots of empty shelves and very few staff. Lots of things that I needed they were out of. Therefore I will not come back. I will stay with my reliable stores . My favorite stores stay stocked. Dollar tree, Walgreen, and family dollar.

The cashiers are very rude! They talked about the customers, as if the store was empty. Signs were up all over the store Some signs contradicted others(besides 70% off, there were also BOGO 50% off) So, this customer that was 4 customers ahead of me, misinterpreted the pricing Upon the cashier explaining, she had to talk loud enough, to let the other cashier & all the customers in line know that he was wrong & she was right. I in turn said, "Regardless, this is still a business & you're forgetting that you're at work" Then, the male cashier is complaining because, customers are talking about the long line "They come in here & expect to get right out but they'll go in Walmart & quietly wait behind 7 ppl!" The blatant disrespect for customers, was just unbelievable!!

The store is so unprofessional. After selling me hot dogs that expired Jan 7, they had the nerve to have a whole attitude because I couldnt find the receipt for a purchase made less than an hr ago. I advised they needed to check their meat daily. The manager told me that he didnt have to because the delivery guys do that. No ownership taken or apologies issued.

Great neighborhood store for everyday items. Personable, friendly service. Sometimes the wait in line can be long depending on the number of cashiers working. Overall good experience.

Just throw this whole store away. I went in there today and there was not one register working properly. There was a girl standing behind the counter, she could only ring card purchases. I never did see the cashier who could take cash purchases, and I waited for at least 10 minutes. I ended up leaving without the items. Every time I go in this location it's something going on. The line is always long with one cashier and that is if there is someone to ring you up at all. This is the worst Dollar General I've ever been to.

They fixed up the store it looked nice 2 to 3 weeks after the bosses left went BACK to normal NO body doing nothing everybody walking around with rags on their heads they up the prices I'm changing my store good luck Y'ALL.

Employees are often friendly and will help if asked but they won't go out their was to help u lots of stuff not on the shelves but they will get it for u. Pretty good store overall

ithis location is okay for basic needs, cups, plastic bags, cups..cards. the cashiers and manager are always nice, but if you need more like for parties,yard accessories..go to another location

They need security guards... they assume every body steal out this location the cashiers threaten my daughter and said she was gonna slap her cause she had been in the store to long ... a further investigation is underway and they are rude ... I hate this dollar General ... they get robbed and think everybody stealing hire security.

I'm shocked at all the things they have in this store my first time ever going here the prices are fantastic it's a little messy and unorganized but they have a variety of things that's what I like the most and the prices are great

Today is my granddaughter's birthday so I browse on FB for this Lol Surprise but everyone was out but went to my favorite store Dollar General and there it was...they had them... Made her birthday smile so bright.

High crime area . parking lot is dark. Open 2 late for the area( including sat and sun) . walgreens left this location for a reason but this company only cares for $ and will not be getting mines again due 2 how corporate treats its employees

It's good for little quick items you need but don't to travel far to get. i.e. toothpaste, pop, detergent, oc- pain meds, etc.

This used to be my go to Dollar General but it has gotten really junky and I see it has been moved around probably because of theft. Service was non-chalant no since of urgency and not really friendly. It just happens to be in my neighborhood so I go there

I like when you first enter thus store it let you know you are under surveillance. Also, this store is pretty big and has a great variety of products.
