We were looking for a place for our dog to have all day play and over night boarding, we tried PetSmart and it just did not work out it reminded him of the shelter and his response was to go straight to defensive mode as we tried to check him in , so we tried (DoGone Fun) his tail was wagging as we went in the door he passed his assessment with ease , and started playing and making new friends I think it's because it's more open spaces to run and play and did not give him the shelter feel he's 7 months and about to start his advanced training there and we look forward to it

Came for a pre-scheduled trial today for my dog to be in doggy daycare. I checked in with the front desk and they put us in the back waiting room and said it would be 10 minutes until they would take my dog back and start the trial. 25 minutes later and we were still in the room and I had to go and search for an employee to figure out what was going on. They eventually went and got the original employee who checked me in who seemed to have forgotten about me. I don’t feel comfortable leaving my dog somewhere where they can easily forget about people in a waiting room ..

Our dog stayed here couple nights. It was the first time he ever boarded and was away from us. The staff was friendly and did everything possible to make sure we had nothing to worry about. The facility was really clean and big, they have a lot of indoor and outdoor space for the dogs to run around. A big plus for us was that we were able to see what our dog was doing through the camera which helped us less anxious.

We have been taking our pets to DoGone Fun for almost 12 years. They are wonderful, caring people whom I believe love dogs more than people :). They have always treated our dogs like royalty. They are always warm and welcoming when we walk in the door. Whether it is grooming, daycare or boarding the service and attention is wonderful. I love the friendly staff and our dogs love them!

Attended an Italian Greyhound meet up in their private space and it was a blast. Workers were friendly and the space was large for the pups to run around and enjoy. Will certainly be back for other services such as grooming and day-stay services.

I’ve been a DoGone Fun client for years and love them! My older chihuahua loves going there for daycare. The staff members are attentive and give him lots of snuggles. I’ve also boarded him and I love that I can check in on him through his stay when he’s on the play lot with their webcams!Now I have to talk about their out of world training team! About a year ago we adopted a chihuahua puppy that was rescued from a horrible hoarding/neglect situation. Our puppy was terrified of daycare but we need an option for her when we are gone for long periods of time. I took a couple of privates through them over the summer to work on her confidence and Judit (the main trainer) suggested day training. I wish I had have gotten her in there sooner. Day training is awesome if you want your dog to gain confidence and good behavior but find it difficult to work with them in a class setting or with just you. Once a week our puppy goes to DoGone Fun and works with the training staff and spends some time on the play lot. She is more confident, and has made strides in becoming more social. She actually is excited to go now! I love picking her up from training and hearing all the staff talk about her day and the good things she did. It means a lot that the entire staff is invested in my fur baby!

We have been bringing our dog to DoGone Fun! for seven years and can't say enough good things about the facility and its staff. In particular, they have a core group of staff members who have been with the company for years. They have high standards for less tenured staff members -- they are always friendly and seem to truly be "dog people". Employee turnover appears to be quite low. We love DoGone Fun! We have been bringing our dog Bear here for a few months now and he absolutely loves it. The employee know him by name and are always happy to see him which is really important to us. He always comes home so happy and tired after playing with his friends. We consider DoGoneFun our dog's second home (...and this applies to both our first dog who has since passed away and our current pooch!) The staff is truly caring and committed to making sure that your pet is happy, entertained and safe. When we drop him off, we don't have to worry at all about whether he is in good hands... we KNOW that he is. We can't say enough good things about them and have used almost all of the services provided -- doggy daycare, grooming, boarding, and dog walking.

+LOVE this place. Very spacious with a helpful staff. Tables and chairs were set up for us by the stall. Bags plus bucket and mop for clean ups. Very nice folks. The dogs had a blast. I am renting the space monthly to hang out in a safe environment with my friends and our dogs. Couldn't be happier!

I use DoGone Fun for nail trims and occasionally purchase dog treats there. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The groomers are excellent and understand that one of my dogs is very shy and scared. They handle him very well and I appreciate that!

We have two 11-year old male Havanese, one of which our previous groomer wouldn't groom because he had just been diagnosed with a heart problem. We asked our vet for suggestions and she referred us to Dan saying "he is really good with 'special needs' dogs". When I picked them up after grooming they acted like they were coming home from a party and their puppy cuts were just spectacular. No groomer anywhere has ever come close to what Dan accomplished today. Too bad there are only 5 stars!

We have been taking our vizsla here from day one. At 7 weeks old they helped us begin the kennel training process, followed by basic puppy etiquette classes and shortly after that daycare once or twice a week for socialization. We have a well rounded pup that is about to celebrate her first birthday and we consider Dog Gone Fun her home away from home. I absolutely love the report cards they send home with them. The staff is exceptional.

On 10/21/19 I called DoGone Fun! inquiring about pricing for their dog daycare and dog walking service. They contract out the dog walking to a third party. I was told I would receive a phone call the following day from the dog walker. I did not receive a phone call.Two days later (10/23/19), I called back and expressed my frustration with the failure to call and also inquired about their dog grooming service. I was assured the dog walker would call me the following day and was told I’d receive a separate phone call from one of their dog groomers with pricing, as they were increasing their pricing and couldn’t quote me directly. I did not receive either of the phone calls the following day.I called back on 10/25/19, expressing my concerns with the lack of communication. This time I spoke to someone different and she said she would be texting the groomers immediately and that they would call me the following morning (today) with pricing. It is 4:55 PM at the time of posting this and I still haven’t received a phone call.I live very close to this business and was hoping I’d find a place I could trust to bring my dog. Unfortunately, there is now no chance I’d ever feel comfortable leaving my dog in their care.I understand DoGone Fun! employees most likely wouldn’t prioritize customers who are referred to their third party services. However, I am looking for a place to board my dog on an as-needed basis once she recovers from her spinal injury. This experience with DoGone Fun! has costed hundreds to thousands of dollars of money I was prepared to spend for their services.I did not want to leave this review, as I figured mistakes happen and would have rather worked it out with the business in person. Hence why I called two additional times after my initial phone call. However, there is clearly something wrong with the operational flow of this business. At this point I felt leaving this review was the only way for the business owner(s) to be made aware of what is going on.

The staff treat my pups as if they were their own dogs. My boys love staying here for daycare or boarding, and I never need to worry about them at all while I’m away. I highly recommend Dogone Fun!

Horrendous. I've only been working with this company for the past three weeks and they've managed to 1) Miss walks for my 5 month old puppy (see text message exchange with walker) 2) Change walkers four times (see photos) 3) Leave my door unlocked from 11:00 am to 5:30 pm (see text where the walker asks about my lock because he does not know how to use locks). The owner is very nice and tries to be accommodating but even she admitted that she is not in contact with the walkers so she does not know what is going on with them. See all the screenshots of the emails between the owner and I. The manager of the company has screwed up multiple times and ended up with pneumonia one week, which sucked for him but the owner couldn't find adequate coverage when he was out. Dogone Fun put my dog in danger, left my home unlocked, and did not do much to apologize for all of these actions.

Dogone Fun is amazing! I've been taking my pooch there and I am so glad she goes. I usually drop her off when she's completely driving me crazy and needs attention. I will drop her off early morning and pick her up right before closing and she is exhausted for days! It's wonderful! The staff is incredibly kind, considerate, and loving to the dogs. I've done both daycare and boarding and I am so happy (and so is my pooch). I can even ask them to sneak in a bath at the last minute and they always manage to find a way. You cannot go wrong with DGF. I don't know what I would do without them!

I have been bringing my sheperd/huskie, Kaia, here for years and she loves it. She knows all of the staff and they know her. They know her habits and what she needs to be comfortable. The grooming staff is great and they have a vet that comes on Tuesdays. And Judit is a great trainer. I never have to go anywhere else to take care all of my dog's needs. The playcare staff is great with the dogs as are the front of the house staff. I love that when I go there in the morning I get to see Calli as she greets Kaia with open arms. She is my favorite. Her customer service is so good to the point that she has gone out of her way to save me from being stuck without boarding options on more than one occasion. Kaia is always so happy when she leaves. I can tell she had fun.

We dropped our dog off here for the 3rd time in about 6 months here. she is now 11months. we have spent a little over 500 here is boarding costs to date.First time cameras were down. never saw her on camera during travels.second time, just a lot of dogs.third time over this past christmas— we received a call from our vet that her paw was severely injured and she needed to be sedated immediately to remove the nail. we never received a call from the Dogone Fun. the vet told us DoGone Fun had called them to bring her in at 9am. they dropped her off around 330, the earliest time the vet could see her and we were not contacted until they needed our verbal ok to sedate her. the vet contacted us. not DoGone Fun.in addition to not being able to walk, she was put on pain meds and antibiotics.we returned home early from our road trip and picked her up from the vet after I spoke with the owner, beverly, and she had no answers, couldn’t explain what happened, and just had nothing to say, I had no choice but to rush to pick her up myself because I no longer trusted our dog there with no one knowing what happened and not being contacted ever by them to report the incident.since then, the only thing I received from the owner/facility is an invoice after we were being billed separately by the vet as well. which we won’t be paying for obvious reasons.it is so hard to find a safe and enjoyable place for our furry friends while away and as much as I was hoping we would find a location near our home in the south loop, this is not the place.and beware, the owner will play dumb in review responses, blame employees that no longer work there or pretend that customers never have had appointments or are leaving reviews from fake accounts. it’s a game they play.
