I shop at this store frequently for specialty bones and treats for my dog but will not be returning for grooming services. Sharing a ‘before’ and a few ‘after’ photos of my dog. I requested a sanitary trim and a light trim for the hair poking up around his eyes. She shaved (down to the skin!) his feet and the area between his eyes all the way to his nose. He looks absolutely miserable and this place charges double compared to my usual spot.

I’ve been here before in the past and Jude did a beautiful job on my dog. I had another appointment with Jude but had to switch the day and groomer. Before my dogs full grooming, I met with Angel to discuss clearly what we wanted my dog’s cut to look like. Some mild matts were noted on my dog and we discussed to not completely shave to the skin. We both agreed with this plan. My dog is groomed every 2 months with no issues and brushed almost every single day, so when she came back completely shaved, I was shocked. When speaking to the manager he was very unapologetic and rude about this situation. He also tried to blame me for other bad reviews in the past that he deleted… he then proceeded to give me back her cut fur in a bag trying to make me feel bad for some mild matts my dog had… I originally did not want a refund but because he was being so disrespectful, I asked for it and he said no. DO NOT COME HERE.Update: Angel, the groomer, was paid in full with tip, yet she is telling lies on her instagram account to get clients to write good reviews on her and the owner. I already apologized for any inconvenience I caused them.. yet they continue to spread lies.

Recently moved to the neighborhood and needed a groomer for my almost 13 year old long-haired dachshund. Tried Doggy Style a few days ago. Angel did a wonderful job and took great care in making Ozzie comfortable in a new environment. Thanks so much!

Worst Pet Store and groomer in Chicago .... They cheat you on price!!!! no receipt was given price was more then quoted, deposit was not applied to the total... Totally dishonest ownership, would rather argue with you then help you as a customer. My dog was treated horrible, not given water left tied up in the back. They wouldn't even go get her before i paid..Save your Money and time and Protect your Pet DO NOT GO HERE!!!!the WORSE COMPANY

Everyone was very nice but the groomer trimmed my dogs nails WAY too short. She has never ever cried during a nail trim and she let out two large cries while being groomed. There were some nails I could tell had been cleaned off because they had bled a little bit. My dog and I left very upset. Disappointed because we try to support local shops but will not be returning to this one.

Such a great addition to the Wicker Park area for pet owners! The staff is friendly and helpful and never pushy. The store carries extremely high quality products and everything is organized and clean and easy to locate. And it's great to support a local business at the same time.

This shop is a gem of the neighborhood! The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly and will go out of their way to be accommodating. I've been bringing my little cockapoo in to get groomed by Angel for over a year now and she does an acceptable job every time! So much love for this shop!

Everyone has said how great the store is, but I'd like to review their grooming. They were excellent. We brought our 65 lb goldendoodle there and they did a great job. Akash got back to me promptly when I asked about pricing and grooming services. They called a day before to confirm the appointment. They were very reasonable with their prices. Much better than some of the other groomers in the area. My wife and I are really happy we were able to find a good groomer within walking distance of us. It's a lot less that we have to worry about now. Highly recommend this shop for grooming. It's easy to tell that these people just genuinely like animals as well, which makes it even easier to keep coming here.

Akesh, is why I come back to this store! He is so friendly, personable, and kind. He remembers my pets and their likes and dislikes. He even remembered their size when it comes to buying ridiculous dog clothing for them! Prices are fair and competitive, and if he doesn't have something he knows where to go to get it and will do his best to get it for you. This is my pet store and I'll go here no matter where I live in Chicago.

Amazing local pet shop. They have all the supplies I need for my cats and dog - including food, grooming supplies, toys, treats, and more!Staff are incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable. When I have a question about pet care they are always enthusiastic to offers suggestions or advice - I really feel like they care about my pets' wellbeing!They also offer dog walking, grooming, and overnight stays for reasonable prices! You DEFINITELY get what you pay for in both pet care and pet supplies.I love supporting local businesses, and Doggy Style is my go-to place!

My biggest concern originally before the haircut was not wanting them “shave” her fur or her face, but make her face round instead. It’s sad to say, but my dog is ugly and it looks like she was shaved as if she had an infectious disease… this is clearly what i tried to avoid. The manager was very passive aggressive and rude when we were trying to resolve the issue of my dog’s haircut. I was really taken back by the way he responded and handled the situation, very poor customer service skills.

This place is just awesome. Been shopping here for 7 years and wouldn't change it for any store. Love the staff and love how they treat my dog. If you are in town with your pup or with out your pup make sure to pick up some delicious treats. My dog loves all the cookies in the cookie jar.

I love this place! They are so friendly and have a ton of options for both cats and dogs. They have the best kitty litter ever and have become pretty much the only place I shop for pet supplies. They greet you when you walk in, bag your purchases and offer suggestions when asked. My cat recently needed to be put on a diet and I was buying expensive food from the vet, when I found an alternative sold at this store that's perfect for her and much more affordable. They also have a lot of toys and other supplies.This place is a touch pricier than chain pet stores, but you absolutely get what you pay for. My cat is healthy with a ton of energy thanks to the food and litter and toys I can get, which is exactly what I want for my pet!

Best pet shop in the area. The owner is almost always there and he's super knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. They also offer dogwalking services and we had a wonderful experience with the manager and dog walker when we were using them. Couldn't recommend this place enough! Support small and local businesses!

A few more unique selections as far as food, harnesses, leashes. Their specialty seems to be different types of dog food and consumables, all of which look excellent. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Small store with a unique selecti you will be hard pressed to find elsewhere

This place is freaking awesome! Knowledgeable staff, cool owners, and a great selection of stuff. Whenever we go past, my dog beelines for the door to say hello to everyone. Even when they aren't open. :-P I love that they focus on healthy products for dogs and cats...and their pet bath self-wash in the back is a great bargain, especially on the way back from the dog beach!

Whats not to love about this place??? The employees and the owners are such great people. They always offer my pup treats when we arrive, and they are very knowledgeable of their merchandise. The dog spa area is always clean as well considering all the dogs that's getting baths throughout the day
