Truly wonderful ladies who run this place. Knowing my dog is terrified of water, I drove over an hour from downtown Chicago to visit. My pup had TPLO surgery 3+ years ago and recently developed a limp in the same leg. After spending a fortune on different vet opinions, I decided to try swimming for some hydrotherapy/muscle strengthening.As a dog trainer myself, I was so incredibly impressed by the women who run Splash Dog. I noticed my dog began to get overwhelmed, but I didn't need to say a thing, as they were very aware and maintained a safe environment. They gave adequate breaks for my pup to catch her breath, but also provided enough of a challenge to get her to learn. There is also a surplus of motivational toys that are used to encourage your pup.Overall, I would happily drive the 2+ hours round trip for future sessions. If you're on the fence, just give Splash Dog a shot!

Excellent groomer. We've been Heidi's client for years. She has taken compassionate care of our (multiple) Shelties and Boxer throughout their seasons of life. She is skilled and attentive to the needs of each dog. They always look and smell great.

This is the best place to get your dog's hair done. My dog always comes out looking so beautiful and smelling fresh. The groomers are very nice and they always do a wonderful job.

I am so grateful we found Dog Splash! Our 6 month old puppy Korra is a sweet heart but can get a little shy sometimes. The groomer just was so sweet and patient with her. Korra was ready in no time and we were so not expecting it that my husband and I showed up waaaay after she was finished. Korra was chilling in a crate and even left with a new gifted toy. I got a happy puppy who is so clean and smells like coconut. And we are never going anywhere else. Thank you Dog Splash for your love of dogs and wonderful work !

We tried a couple of grooming places in the Evanston area before finding Dog Splash and we can’t say enough good things about it! Affordable prices, great cuts, and our dog Tucker is much more comfortable than he’s ever been with other groomers. I have tried to go to this groomer twice. The first time 2 years ago, she told me she was going on vacation and couldnt get me in. So I went elsewhere because of a time crunch. I contacted Heidi again this june (2023) and was met with the same response of she was going on vacation. I said I can wait until after and have open availability. She set me up for June 20th. Then a day or two later messaged me to change it to June 22 at 11. I confirmed and waited for the day to role around. I show up the day of at 11. She then acts like I never made an appointment, was super rude and asked me to come back at a different time. I took off work for this appointment so I wasnt going to come back.Just her attitude alone was enough for me to never let my dog in her care. She acted like my dog was such an inconvenience for her. My dog was a little nervous because it was a new space and I don't think she wanted cut his hair at all because of that. I understand that she was running behind, it happens. But it was how she handled the situation.

This place does a great job, truly. My wheaten russ is not afraid to come in, the owners seem very nice and accommodated me when they were closing and my phone had an issue and had to wait 30 min for me. My friends go there also. Highly reccommend!!!

I now take both my dogs to Heidi! I can’t say enough about this grooming shop. Heidi did a fantastic job on my senior Pomeranian/ chihuahua today. He is acting so happy and spunky after his groom. They also carry the best dog treats called Gibson treats. Make sure to buy your dog a bag before leaving. Thanks again for being so gentle with Zorro

Heidi is fantastic! My highstrung terrier was terrified and hostile to anyone who tried to trim his nails....and then along came Heidi. Through patience, calm and fearless gentility she found a way to relax him and earn his trust. Now he literally drags me to the entrance when we have an appointment. He can't wait to see her! Both my dogs have a great experience every time. Heidi is the best groomer I've ever known.

Heidi and her staff are all smiles when I see them. About every six weeks my bichon frisee is washed and has his nails and hair trimmed. You have the option to stay and watch your dog being groomed if you like. (The only complaint is the waiting area only has a plastic chair). Everything is done in front of a picture window and therefore viewable from the street. My dog is like my baby and I trust him with the staff at Dog Splash. Good people and a good haircut. You can't go wrong! Why go anywhere else?

Dog Splash is great. Both of our dogs get groomed by Heidi and she is professional and accommodating. One of our doggies is a very fearful rescue, and she never leaves with anxiety or stress. Haven't tried anywhere else because there's no need. Thanks Heidi!

I just got back from getting my dogs nails cut. I just want to say thank you so much. Buddy hates getting his nails cut and can be very aggressive and scary when his nails are being cut! The job got done!!!!The person cutting his nails was great!!! The price is awesome! I gave her double the price because she is worth it!!!!!
