My dog absolutely loves bark place. He goes 3 days a week and when I get him back he is exhausted and goes straight to sleep. The owner is so pleasant too. Very kind and the smell of coffee in the morning is so nice. Not sure what I’d do without them.

We've been using Bark Place for doggie daycare, dog boarding, and cat visits since 2022. Brandon and his whole team are just wonderful to work with and all four of our pets have received great care from the team. Most recently, I lost my father and the Bark Place team watched over all the pets when I attended his funeral - and the Bark Place team went out of their way to send me condolences flowers. Just an incredible and unexpected act of service from the team.

I recommend Bark Place for doggy daycare! My dog is typically very shy and fearful of new environments or people, so I wasn’t sure how she’d react. But it only took about three visits to see her behavior change from hesitation to excitement at drop offs. Very conveniently located across the street from the RP Metra stop, friendly staff, and fair pricing!

Took my dog to a professional groomer for the first time and they were great. Both the manager and the groomer were so sweet and caring to my big guy. He came home feeling so soft and smelling so good! I have a BIG dog, so the cost was $60, which seems really reasonable to me. 13/10 would go back.

I wandered in to look at the shop and was welcomed in by a nice man who worked the front desk. It was very clean, organized, and well stocked. If I did not live so far away I would definitely come here for my pups needs. 😊

i was recommended to bark place by barkbox after recently moving to chicago. booking the appointment was easy, the prices are extremely reasonable for a small shop, and my pup was returned to me in extremely high spirits and a bit of the zoomies. she loved her time there. 10/10, would recommend, and will be coming back.

First time my dog was groomed at Bark Place. I have a yorkie-poodle who desperately needed a haircut and nail trim. Saul the groomer did an amazing job!! Haircut and nails are perfect! Also my dog seemed really calm when i picked him up. In the past at other places he would always be shaking after. So it seems like it was a good experience for my dog! I highly recommend this place! Also the front desk was so helpful and polite. And the price is great! I've always paid usually $15 more at other places so I was so happy about that. It was just an an around great experience!

The workers are literally the nicest people you will ever encounter. My dog can be very wild and jump on everything and they are so good with him. They calm him down better than we can. Fantastic store, fantastic prices, locally owned. If you have a dog or cat make sure to stop by here on every walk. You won't regret it. They have treats for dogs just stopping by! During covid they only allow one person and one animal in at a time, which makes this the only pet store I feel comfortable shopping at. Go here.

We love Bark Place! We have been bringing our dog here for daycare 2x/week for the last year and have nothing but good things to say. Everyone is friendly and knows our dog. He is always happy when he arrives and happy when he leaves. They also sell top notch dog food and toys.

Great place to take your dog if you're going to be gone for more than a weekend. The dogs are pretty much playing with each other all day, with a midday nap in there as well. We have a high energy pup and every time we pick him up, he goes right to bed once he gets home. Very affordable accommodations and the staff is always very friendly and helpful. It's definitely one of our go to places for our dog!

Visited to get my dog's nailed trimmed, which they did without an appointment. They brought him in and took care of it quickly, and he came out looking fantastic. The store is a bit on the smaller side, but it seems to have some wonderful products and everything a dog owner would need. They also have boarding options for dogs which I may look into in the future. All in all, a great experience.

Took our dog here for the first time and had a great experience!! Usually after a groom our dog is anxious, shaking and doesn’t eat well for a few days but this time he was the complete opposite. He was happy, calm and like his normal self. Not only that, Saul did an amazing job and he looks great! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!!! Both Trevor and I are happy customers!

Staff is extremely friendly and it's a great place to board your dog for a weekend or drop them off for daycare while you're at work. When you purchase a larger package for multiple daycare visits the price ends up being similar to what you'd pay a dog walker for an hour.Very affordable. My dog is typically here one day a week which allows him a chance to get out of the house and socialize with other dogs while I'm at work.

I take my dog here regularly for daycare and he loves it so much that he actually starts tugging me in the direction of the building if we're within a block of it. Staff is great, focused on the dogs. Have had nothing but good experiences so far.

I took my 13yr old puggle here for a bath and blowout (first time in a long time for her) and she came out all full of herself! She definitely had an extra pep in her step when we were walking out. I could tell she thoroughly enjoyed her mini spa day and attention she received while there. I'm glad we now live around the corner so I can take her more often. #treatyo'self

Love Bark Place! They take great care of our girl 3 days a week and are a friendly neighbourhood fixture. "Daycare" gets the same reaction for our pup as "walk" does for some other dogs.
