The store was remodeled and looked much better. I no longer live in the area and have been gone for years now. I was impressed compared to the way the store used to look. The only thing I had an issue with was the cashier. I feel she needs to work on her customer service skills. Otherwise I would still recommend this place and I will come back if I'm in the area.

Prices are good, store is well kept. Staff is quick and efficient! Love the variety- much better than the one in Richton Park. Seasoning game is lit! (Ethnic isle) good for quick and long trips. Produce fresh. The picture: a quick Thursday night meal for 8 weighing in at $22.50 👀👍🏽💆🏽‍♀️

Friendly and helpful staff. Lots of product priced well. More generic brands than well known named brands. Meat products and produce are good and a variety is offered. Some of the coolers were being worked on and it was interesting to see how quickly they worked on them compared to brand named grocery stores that can take weeks before coolers are fixed. Good variety in frozen foods despite some coolers down. They work to keep carts in the store and not just sitting out in the parking lot.

Bought ground beef today 07/25/2023 the store smelled bad and when I got home the meat smelled like rotten eggs had to return it all that meat is contaminated..you could smell it dont buy !usually they have good meat so do not know what is going on but all the meat needs to be pulled off the shelf!! Warning

Nice little store. Went 2 pick up the pork butt on sale. So glad they have smaller cuts. I cook 4 one & don't want 10 pounds of meat when I'm not having a BBQ with friends. I appreciate that.

They have cheap meat and pretty good prices on lots of things here. Since they remodelled, it looks so much better in here. Their frozen food section could use a bit of an update but all in all they have a pretty good selection of things. I especially like their Mexican food and spice selection of things.

Worth the drive to S. Chicago Heights or Richton Park. I would be more than happy to bypass Walmart over in Richton Park to shop at Save a lot.

Shelf price DOESN'T MATCH register price. Register price is higher, then shelf price, of course I didn't notice until I got home. So someone didn't do an accurate job on their part, plus the name on receipt wasn't even the brand I bought. Not only price wrong, the description was wrong also lucky I didn't have to bring it back for some reason, would of been accused of not buying it there.

Jewels prices have just gone through the roof I understand we pay for good food but I'm always finding something wrong with the food either rotten taffy apples apples have no taste and while going through checkout they have a tendency of not taking good care of the expensive food you have just purchased.

I do miss the regular cashiers on the weekend and regular days I always see the new people they're not as personable but overall I love the store and the way they changed it around is wonderful I wish them nothing but luck

You can get most items you need at slightly higher price. But it was satisfactory. I'm not keen on their produce section... always gnats in abundance. So I only grab green bananas. Was able to get cereal in a large bag, Almond milk, waffles, 2 bottles of Goya seasoning & other items. If you're not in the mood or mindset for big retail, crowds or far driving, it's a decent local spot. Just stop in & get out.

They recently updated the store; now you have more choices for produce. The store is very clean and we'll stocked. They have all new standing freezers. They removed the old freezers that was on the floor. You don't have to buy bags there free!!

I faithfully shop here. Prices are GRRRRREAT. Especially if you have a family. Check them out if you "already" haven't !! They also bag your groceries for you now and the prices went up like all other stores.

I only go to save a lot to pick up a few last minute items. I always end up getting a little more than anticipated. The store is always clean and well stocked. The cashiers move the lines.

Make sure the cashier is ringing up the right produce item or check your receipt before you leave. I was overcharged a couple of times. The first time it happened I just let it slide. Too much inconvenience to drive all the way back and try to get a refund. Then it happened again. So I decided to call the store and she told me to come in and will issue a refund but it has to be done within TWO days, that’s how long the receipt is good for. So, with the current COVID 19 situation and not wanting to go back within the 2 day time frame I got stiffed again. On a scale of one to five, I give them a big fat zero. Crooks.
