I went the to family dollar on joe Orr road in Chicago heights, Ill. today and I walked in the cashier greeted me with a smile and told me my dog was cute that was in the cart. As I was walking through the store another different employee greeted me with smile and ask me how my day was going. I proceeded through the store and another different employee yelled out from the back of store. “you can’t have dogs in the store”. I called out I always bring him in the store. The same employee said “ they saw it on the camera that why we can’t have dogs in the store”. I turned around and said “I will b calling the district office”. And then I said I come in this store a lot with my dog just like other customers. I see a lot of them come in this store with their dogs. I proceeded out the store with my dog. I will not be returning to this store. Thank you

I went into this store last week Saturday. Customer service was horrible. The manager was very unprofessional. The prices listed for products were different at register and manager refused to honor the price marked. I showed her the price marked and she said she had to honor whatever it price rang, which to me is wrong. The store should honor prices as marked. The manager stated that the store has too many overrides, which is not my problem. The store needs to update prices so customers know the accurate prices. This is my neighborhood store and love shopping here, but after this incident I'm reluctant to go back.

This family dollar discriminates against people with disabilities and will not service disabled individuals with service pets cashier Brianna Wimters shared that her manager stated she does not care if a person I disabled and needs a service pet they are not allowed in her store. Store number 4546. This happened 8/10/2023 @ 1215 pm.I will bereporting this to corporate and the states attorney

Usually in and out pretty quickly, I do like shopping there and the staff is always helpful and very polite. I did also go here on March 7th 2022 and was shocked that I wasted my time, as the store which is supposed to be open was closed around 4 pm with no reason given.

They alright. The Employees are typically slow or weird as hell that's why they change them so often at this locations. All the aisles are messy. Small selection of expired goods. The floor is dirty. But they'll still follow you as if you're gonna steal something.

This store is filthy and dirty ALL THE TIME! The cashier girl is ALWAYS on her cell phone on a personal call. One time she even had the call on SPEAKER PHONE! I try to avoid this location anytime I can because it is so messy and disorganized. They need to put ALL NEW MANAGEMENT & EMPLOYEES in this store to give the buyer a nice experience.

They false advertise. They do not honor the price of the products with price tags clearly listed on the shelf. It wasnt just one item, the entire box of product was on the shelf listed at 1.30 and they rang up for over 3.00. They didn't even want to go check so I could show them the product with the price on the shelf.

I was happy they opened later than 6pm on a Sunday. I found exactly what I needed and it was a quick in & out. Staff is friendly, prices reasonable.

This family dollar is never open on time always having some type of problems going on!!! Need to get this together!!! An they definitely need more help line is definitely always too long!!! Some good customer service an some nasty attitudes!!!

the girl sat on her phone while we were helped by another girl, but she needed a code or whatever and the other girl actually sat with her head phones on her head until she was finished with what she was doing on her phone, all with 7 people waiting patiently to check out... bogus

The website says they close at 10pm and they lock the doors at 9pm and are just in there watching you try to open the door.
