Ever since the change in hands of new store manager, every time when I get home from work, I pull up to my local dollar general store in Chenoa. There is a hand written sign on the door there computer system down, and I tried to call and I see them in the store but they choose ignore the phone. I am so disappointed in the local store and the new manager. So can someone explain why is this happening when the signed clearly says they will be closed 11.22.23 or early. But today is 11.27.23 so what is the problem Dollar General in Chenoa, can you explain???

Enjoy shopping at this Dollar General. There is room to move your cart around, it is not cramped in space, and items are easy to reach. They carry a lot of dairy, easy meals, deli items, etc. Which makes it a convenient "one-stop" shop if you are in a hurry.

The cashiers are awful. The manager is awful. Their customer service is awful. They are not nice, personable, or friendly. The manager who's blonde left me waiting while she cashed out her friends even though I was standing at the register that was lit up and open first! Everytime a customer comes in theres no one on the register because they're understaffed. They have way more selection than family dollar down the street by a long shot, but family dollar down the street has much nicer cashiers, professional appearances, knowledgeable and friendly managers, more modern surroundings, and sometimes way better prices. Avoid this Dollar General if you can.

Very friendly staff I was staying in town for a few months and always enjoyed this location out here in Chenoa, Illinois. It is wheel chair accessible and has handicap parking available the management and staff there are super friendly which is a bonus.

Joe is a good manager of the store. Wish they had produce but don’t think logistically it worked out. I’m sure with delivery and such, the produce would be too expensive and out of their control. What they do have comes in handy. Most anything I need
