Great variety, I go there several times a year, love their caramels, bakery items. Apple pies are. The best! Apples are usually very good, I got there late this year, there was nothing resembling tart crun hy apples,only overly sweet. Soft apples. Love the employees, always friendly, helpful. They are on the pricey side tho. Ive shopped for plants too. They have a nice variety of healthy plants but a smaller inventory and again, pricey.

The apple donuts are a must. So, so fresh!I also got some cheese and jam. Cheese is pretty tasty, but haven't tried the jam yet.

So cute, I love this place. Lots of flowers, pumpkins and art to browse; in the little shop they sell some delicious treats, apple cider slushies, foods and other products all homemade and very good and an apple orchard to walk through. What a blast, definitely a place I would bring my kids one day

Mums a plenty! Tons of great food here locally sourced. Apple cider donuts are literally to die for - if you are willing to wait try and get them freshly out of the oven (so freaking good). My friends always get the cider slushes and love them as well.

The cider donuts and apple cider are amazing. I also got a peanut butter cookie .I didn't buy any cider because it's a lot to drink by myself but I had some and it is delicious. I'll be back with my partner soon.

OHMG!!!! Lived in Springfield forever, some years in Auburn. First time in. Super nice little place with very friendly people who still take pride in all the do! I got Gooey Butter Cake, my wife got a Cinnamon Roll. This GBC is enough to make your taste buds dance for joy! WOW! CR is waiting its turn, but looks tasty as can be. And dont forget Apple Cider Slushie!!! Seasonal treats all year. GO NOW!

A great variety of jams, jellies, chow-chow, pickles, and more. excellent baked goods. My favorites are the cider donuts and large chocolate chip cookies. We bought these and a 1/2 peck of small apples that we really enjoy cold. Friendly, helpful staff. Next time we'll try the blueberry cider.

Driving back from Chicago area to Arizona. I used to live near here and the Apple Barn was on our list of places to see on our way back. I enjoyed seeing the vast variety of pumpkins that they already had on hand. I used to spend much money at this store while decorating my yard for the seasons and for my gardens.We got some cider (great!) to take home and a drink to enjoy while eating some of their fresh baked goods. We got fudge to take home, too. A must stop if you are in the area. It is 5 minutes from tge I-55 freeway. Lots of parking. Put it on your list of places to see.

Love this place! So many tasty treats I cannot get elsewhere. Their frozen homemade pies ready to bake are incredible. Like the smaller sized ones too! Bakery is so great! Fresh fruit in season like no other.

I love coming to this place!!!! It's in a gorgeous setting ..I can spend hours here ;) If you want the best selection of tropical flowers and plants outdoor summer annuals and perennials and the most colorful and unique pots and planters you will ever see then come here! I love their homemade snicker doodles, chocolate chip cookies and homemade apple slush. I also get my supply of honey for my tea here.owner is around and staff so helpful and friendly. Great way to spend a beautiful day.

My brother in law stopped in and brought back a couple of almond flavored custard pastries. They were great. The morning went to get apple fritters. They were not good. They were hard, no cinnamon or apple pieces in them at all. We had to throw them out. No one could eat them.

Unfortunately they don't allow picking fruit anymore. However, they did have lots of delicious looking produce, so if you're looking for fresh veggies and eggs or some preserves it's a good place to go!

Well stocked with fresh produce, eggs, bakery and home-made goodies. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, and conveniently located with ample parking. We go a couple times per month to stock up.

A friend brought me a peach pie which I consider myself a peach pie aficionado if I do say so myself, and a rhubarb pie.I did not share the peach pie with anyone after I had my first piece. That delicious pie was mine and only mine!!But I thought I'd be nice and share the second pie with friends and we loved the rhubarb too!I can't wait to try all the other pies and baked goods!!Will definitely recommend trying out the goodies at the Apple Barn!!!

Love this place. Great homemade sweets (fudge, cookies, pies etc...) and canned apple butter to pickled beets to fresh fruit jams. Jars of soup and bags of dry noodles. Open spring till Christmas. They sell plants all spring and summer then mums in the fall to Christmas trees before closing for the winter. Staff is so helpful and very knowledgeable. They even carry your stuff to your car..

I’ve always heard great things about this place and have always wanted to stop. I live quite a ways north of Springfield but wanted to plan a trip, now I’m on the fence. I called looking for a certain plant not for myself but for someone else. The lady on the phone was extremely rude and I even had to ask if I was bothering her asking for further information. there was a gentleman I could hear answering my questions. I may stop in and give them a try since everything looks so wonderful. We are all so busy right now in the industry let’s try to spread some happiness not the opposite. I know customer service can suck sometimes I’ve been there but there is zero reason for unexplained rudeness.

Amazing! Just passing through town, saw local buy here meat and took a chance. It was the cutest place ever! Smelled yummy, fresh beautiful baked goods in cases. I noticed no gluten free and just happened to mention how I most missed donuts. Well he produced a cider donuts FRESH AND warmed up gf cider freak'n donut and free!! Sooo going back while in town through the month. Plus the outside is also a gorgeous nursery. Thanks Apple Barn man, you rocked!!!
