I recently moved to Chatham and have been to Ace several times to get several items and keys made. I always get a friendly greeting and am asked if I need assistance. I enjoy shopping at this local store.

Store is very clean and organized. Found what i as looking for soil, Lawn fertilizer, S hook. Staff is very friendly, helpful and greet you.

Went in 2 different to get what I needed for a project. Things I needed were locked I went to ask where an item was and if someone could unlock it for me and employees acted bothered as if I interrupted their convo. Day 2 the young lady checking me out did not once make eye contact cut me off to say did you find everything, then when I left to say good day she ghosted me and rolled her eyes. Customer service was not so great.

Don't buy paint here!I needed a specific paint I ran out of mid-project on a Sunday and knew they carried Benjamin Moore. Every can they had was squashed/severely dented - that was all they had. They refused a discount (I was concerned about the can closing so I asked) and I needed it, so I bought it. I opened the can only to have rust from the dent (it rusted on the inside due to the dent, I guess) fall into the paint. I spent the rest of the afternoon picking rust flakes off of the painted surface and going over it again. Not happy.Edit - It's great that you respond to comments/reviews, but when a customer asks for an evident problem to be fixed and you refuse, why is it then on the customer to ask you to do something about it yet again when you already refused?

Near our son's home. ALWAYS projects to do there and it is so much more efficient for me to go there vs. Big Box. A little pricey but worth it to save time usually!

Always a smile at the front of the store. Cashier was very knowledgeable with the store and where to find what i was looking for. She said if i needed any help just ask. Always a pleasure going there even for a Sarsaparilla soda.

Good selection of spring products like grass seed, fertilizer,etc. Very helpful staff and reasonable prices. Clean and well organized store.

It's an Ace if they don't have it you probably don't need it. Went there looking for a specialized adapter younger staff didn't think they carried it. I searched and found it and several other options. ACE is the place !!!

Ace Hardware is actually one of the few places where you can actually buy a single screw or bolt or washer without buying a package of 10 or 15 in it which you don't need I love Ace Hardware

I went to the Ace Hardware in Chatham yesterday morning. I needed a specific type of light bulb for my kitchen. The employee who helped me was very nice and knowledgeable. I probably would have bought the wrong light bulb without her help. The cashier was very nice too.

Phenomenal propane if your tank is 10 years or younger.If not your going to have to exchange until you get a good tank. The problem with exchanges is they only fill 15lbs of propane but ACE fills the tank full to 20lbs(which is what the tank was intended to carry). The exchange and fill are the exact same price but 5 more lbs is worth it

Ace Hardware is some of the friendliest people you would ever want to do business with no matter where you go in the store you'll find a person in a red vest there to help you and they know their stores well and would even load your car for you if you're buying something that's hard for you to manage.prices are fair items are, to what we needed our homes I've always found the selection to be something that I enjoy.I tend to buy all of my grass seed from this store because they have seeds in bulk that have been selected for this area and not just some bag that came from some national distributor and they've always been good grass.if you haven't started chopping at Ace Hardware you should stop in and see what they have to offer I think you'll find them to be one of those places that you will visit in nearly every weekend for something

Ace Hardware in Chatham IL is a complete and clean local hardware store. The staff have been efficient and helpful. Every Ace garden center is a bit more different than the stores themselves and although this garden center is larger than others in the area it is also a bit pricier on potted plants. That said I have visited the inside store more often than two others closer to my home for a range of products and seldom have come away empty handed.

I asked the hispanic associate to cut pipe at an angle. The associate told me he didn't have time to help me, because he was too busy that day. So I took my business to Lowes instead. If it weren't for the associate not having time, then besides the pipes, I would have bought 12 buckets.

The Ace Hardware in Chatham has an excellent selection of parts and hardware. I gave it 3 stars because the prices are incredibly high. If you need something in a pinch I would go there, otherwise go to Menards. I understand the buy local pledge but not when an eye bolt costs at least 3 times the price of a competitor a few miles away.

Sometimes it's better to go to the smaller hardware store rather than get lost it the giant competitors stores. It's always easy to find a worker for assistance and they are mostly helpful.

If you don't know exactly what you want or you do know and just can't seem to find it, (Like in the other two larger Home Improvement stores, Menards and Lowe's) then this is the place to go; they're very helpful, the prices are a bit higher but the service is worth the difference.

They are always helpfull. They alway have advice on what will get a job done. The store and bathrooms are very clean and well organized. It is a great ACE!!!
