As an EIU student, I’ve been here a handful of times. The coffee, the staff, the atmosphere are all amazing! I have loved coming every single time I have been. This is definitely a place to check out if you’re in Charleston! I gave the place 4 stars because I wish that had some more vegetarian meal options other than bakery items and oatmeal. (both options are still tasty!)

I’m from out of town and wanted to check out the downtown area. This place is so cute and they have good coffee. The staff is always friendly and if you have questions on the products, they’re very knowledgeable.Went there in October and November and they had different themed drinks(hot and cold). You could hang out with people or get some work done inside.Parking: You can park in the front or across the street. There’s usually parking spots available

Anti-military anti-veteran establishment. Either that or they are inherently racist towards brown people. Went in there to get a drink and a muffin about had to wait in line. Every white person was helped out to completion. It's my turn I paid. Give him my order and guess what? She started helping the white customers behind me. I have to ask for my drink. she rudely said you need to wait your turn. I said didn't I already wait. My turn already paid. She just refused and ignored. To my veteran brothers, do not go to this establishment. They do not respect the fact that you gave up any semblance of normalcy In your life to serve your country and them.

The atmosphere was cozy. They had card and board games you could play. It was a fun coffee place with a very friendly batista.They had various bagels, etc, but we only had coffee and hot chocolate. Please with thr beverages.Parking: Found on street parking without trouble and paid parking lot across the street.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly and family-friendly place.

This is a great local coffee shop located downtown. A bit pricey and charge for using a card, but imo worth the price for the quality of drinks. Staff has generally been friendly.

Lovely local coffee shop! The employees are attentive and nice. Their bakery items taste great and their wide selection of drinks are good as well. The atmosphere of the coffee shop is cozy, and they sometimes even have live music as a treat.

I loved this place and the cute little bookstore next door has an interior entrance which adds to the experience. The barista was very friendly and made me a delicious drink. I was half asleep while ordering and I really wanted some sort of baked good for breakfast but my social skills were still sleeping- she managed to interpret my mumblings to my fiancé and recommended their peanut butter cookies which did not disappoint. We just moved to the area but I am positive that I've found my new coffee shop. They have fun local crafts available for purchase hung up around the room; per the usge, the artists know their worth so pieces are priced accordingly.

Horrible experience. Barista didn't put lid on large hot coffee correctly....thus when I went to my car and went to take a sip it spilled HOT coffee all over me and my car...not a fun 170 mile drive home. What a mess....was supposed to be a nice, relaxing cup of coffee...

Good coffee drinks. Friendly staff. Cozy atmosphere. Has entertainment on certain days. Barista could not loudly bang the coffee out of the machine every drink. Kind of disturbing. Liked this place.

I never imagined that my favorite coffee shop in the world would be in Charleston Illinois but it is! Jackson Ave makes the best iced dirty chai latte. Their shop is clean and cute and overall a great environment whether you’re meeting with a friend to talk or studying for a test.
