Well, sometimes you can go back and then are times you can't. Tonight was a mix for sure..Love me my Der Weinerschnitzel Chilli cheese dog, no onions and a dill pickle slice to top it off. Been my favorite here for more that 53 years and second best is the polish sandwich - which was their special tonight!!As I have a long drive home and have had stomach issues I opted for the polish and even added fries for the first time in decades possibly.The fries were fresh and looked like the ones from McDonald's or Steak n Shake BUT tasted far, far better.Now maybe my age is getting to me as my mouth just can't handle spicy foods and I was caught by surprise that the sandwich really has a "bite" to it. So much so that I was able to just finish the one polish.Not saying it was bad. No, no. In fact the rye bread was great, love the pickle but the polish was a tad spicy for me...I guess I'm a p@@@@ after all.Good servicee. Quick. And personable. So I would have done 5 stars but I know I am going to suffer on the ride home...LOL.Parking: Average.

The food is not very good for the prices.The people who work there are nice enough to greet you when you enter and tell you goodbye when you leave.The place is very small but the people inside don't crowd it with noise which makes for an okay atmosphere.

Small place older looking not fine dining by any means heck you have to go outside to use the bathroom, it's out and behind the building. So burgers were eh. The chili was good the hot dogs...well it's hard to mess those up. Fries were eh. My bf has mini corn dogs and spent whole night complaining about how it tore up his stomach. Their prices are amazing though. I got a chili dog a chili burger a chili cheese fry and a drink for 7 bucks. See cheap. Sadly I guess you lose quality in exchange for prices. So all in all I went but can't say I'd go back.

Why are you so good?! Not a normal type of stop for my wife and I. But we had to. Thats where we messed up, they got us. The prices, the quality.Was expecting a grease shack and a little laugh, found the best damn dogs and chili around in the process.

The food was great and the staff was super friendly. We had to wait like 10 minutes for a huge order. The think I enjoyed was that they just told us to park on the side and the food would be right out since they have a lunch rush. Overall it was a great experience and will definitely be back again.P.S. get the chili cheese fries they are the best. A little messy but what good food isn’t?

Tried the new veggie Chicago dog. Delicious! There was a regular Chicago dog for comparison, and the verdict was the veggie dog had a better flavor. It was a little smoky, could have used more sport peppers but that's just my opinion, and I would say it tasted more like a higher quality beef hot dog, this was also confirmed by the meat eater. Would buy again. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I had to cross the street to get fries since Weinerschnitzel cooks theirs in lard.Edit: they've added 2 new flavors the backyard dog and BBQ dog both delicious, still sticking with the Chicago dog as my favorite.

Cost-conscious option; most people could probably feed themselves on a 4 to 7 dollar expense here which is pretty rare nowadays. Daily $3 deals every day on top of that. I'd plan around this.Service was attentive and friendly. Interior is pretty small and dated but not actively unpleasant. I guess the fact that the front counter/drink station becomes a choke point when entering or exiting the dining area would suck if the place were busy. No bathrooms?Spring for the all-beef hotdog upgrade and try out the mini corn dogs, as they were probably the best-tasting things I had ordered.

Burger patties smelled funny and did not taste good. I paid extra for tomato to be added to the burger, but they left it off. Corn dogs were fine. The employees were extremely impolite and didn't seem to want to be there when placing our order. This explains our Oreo shakes turned into chocolate shakes and they refused to correct it. We won't ever be back.

I enjoy picking up this Deal, after a busy day. Your Choice of either Chili Dogs or Corn Dogs. You select, either, or a combination of both...For a total of 5 for $7.95!Also, I love their dipped vanilla ice cream cones.Currently, offering: Chocolate, Orange, or Fruit Loop...I have tried them all!The Drive-Thru Staff, are awesome, too.They are always very pleasant.

They have good fries and chili that taste great together. The hotdogs are always good, I prefer theirs over sonic's.
