Great team at this location! Store team staff and pharmacy staff are always extremely helpful despite other rude reviews on this page! They're real people who want to help and give convenient service.

Rude staff. I go to pick up my sons prescription & they tell me it’s not ready when i got a call stating that it was. Once we got home i realized they didn’t even give us everything so I called the store & they claim they didn’t have the other prescription from the doctor then all of a sudden insurance approved for them to give me another prescription. Went back a second time they gave me too much of the prescription they’re just understaffed and very rude & unprofessional. I won’t be using them anymore!

Pharmacy not open when it’s suppose to be, lines long and very slow moving. Customer service is terrible. I’ll be looking for a new pharmacy.

Walgreens pharmacy continues to consistently be the worst. They have the worst customer service most likely due to unhappy pharmacists. They are uniformly dour, surly and appear overworked and understaffed. Add to this the reduced hours. This pharmacy closes at 6pm… how do they expect people to get their prescription after they leave work? Add the laziness of the pharmacist who in this instance said my husband’s prescription was not on order which was not true and when that untruth was sorted out then said the insurance was not correct … again a lie as the rest of the family gets their prescription filled with that insurance card for which he is the primary card holder. They punted the work of calling the insurance to us instead of making a simple phone call. After doing THEIR work and us calling the insurance company, the problem was rectified quickly. Their laziness and poor customer service is awesome appalling. Walgreens pharmacy has the gall to advertise as being at the corner of happiness and health … as if they care about either the happiness or health of their customers. Again they are the absolute worst!!!!

The sassy attitude from the cashier every.single.time. I go is getting out of control! Really long black hair, early twenties possibly? While I totally understand doing your job and asking for an ID every single time someone makes a purchase for tobacco, there's no need for the weird, rude, petty attitude towards customers. You can barley get a word out without being "barked" at! Especially when you're nothing but cordial , I can't imagine anything at Walgreens requiring any more than a simple exchange of being polite and getting your items and getting out of there without all the attitude.

The pharmacy just opened at 10 am (hour later than what is stated on the window). At 11am I called about a prescription they filled way too early (which the insurance isn’t paying for and this will affect when I actually need my next refill)….. Well the pharmacy is on a meal break!!! a meal break 1 hr after they open late! I have been to this pharmacy twice at 9 am and 9:15 am when the hours posted that they open at 9am but the drive thru says no pharmacist on duty!! Walgreens is the worst poorly run pharmacy. Save yourself the headache and go to Walmart, who are much better at actually providing pharmacy services. If I wasn’t forced to fill one prescription at Walgreens, I would avoid this poorly run corporation.

I TRULY wish I had a dollar for every time I called & someone in the pharmacy was rude to me, or hung up and acted like it was an “accident” leading me to call back and be on hold for another 20-45 minutes.I worked at a “sister” Walgreens and it’s all been brought back to management. People who don’t care, hiring more people that don’t care. If you’re actually happy to work there and want to do your job, they don’t want you. It makes no sense. Then everyone in the public gets the results, rude, nasty, lazy, mean workers who genuinely don’t care if you get your medication or not. Often telling customers to do things to get their medication that takes hours, that would take Walgreens 5 minutes or less. It’s very unfortunate and could easily be remedied. But from first hand experience, they’d rather turn a blind eye, and it goes higher up. Everyone is better off going to CVS, Walmart pharmacy, Meijer Pharmacy. Save your time, your money and sanity.

Where to start... the pharmacy couldn't find my prescription one night that my doctor had faxed hours earlier. Then, 30 minutes before closing time, they refused to fill it even if she sent it again. I ended up having to go across town to a different pharmacy to get it filled. Then, they sell blood glucose meters, but don't keep the test strips in stock. And, I overheard this event: someone came to pick up a prescription for someone else. It was there, filled. The tech checked it out, the customer paid, and had the prescription in hand. Then, the pharmacist intervened and took it away from him, saying he couldn't take it, because they had filled it several days earlier and they only allowed a certain timeframe to pick it up. If it had been picked up the day prior, that would have been okay. The pharmacy in this place runs too little, too late.

I just moved to Champaign. I decided to walk to Walgreens which wasn't the best idea, because it was hot-nearly 90 degrees, but I was concerned about switching pharmacies! However, I was glad I went.I anticipated switching pharmacies would be a long stressful process, but I was wrong(thankfully)! The pharmacy made transferring my medications simple & stress-free. The pharmacy person, Macey was very thorough and advised me how to ensure my medications would get renewed without any problems. She also went over all my medications with me and looked to see what meds I may need right then. She also showed concern for my well-being! When I first walked up to the counter, I happened to mention I walked to the store. As I was about to leave, Macey noticed I was very flushed & a bit sweaty even though she was busy behind the counter. She said she was concerned about me walking in the heat, asked me if I was feeling well enough to walk back & suggested I sit for a while cool down and drink plenty of water before taking off again, which I did. I thought that was so thoughtful of her! The cashier in front was very friendly too, as was a young man working on the floor. They all made me feel very welcome. I am glad this will be my new pharmacy!

You know a one-star rating is legitimate when your provider chooses to send your prescription to another pharmacy after it’s not being filled at Walgreens at The Crossing and the new pharmacy responds with “Oh God!!” when they ask you who they have to call to cancel the prescription.I can confidently say to this Walgreens, “It’s not me, it’s you.”

Well, they started out being much better than the other Walgreens store that I went to when I first moved here. A few years later now, and I am very frustrated with their service. My regular prescription refills take at least 5 days to refill even though they are on automatic refill. Everything is a hassle, and waiting on hold for over 15 minutes is a regular occurence. Their automated service calls me routinely to remind me that I have a medication that might need to be refilled, yet my prescriptions are on automatic refill, so this is super annoying and pointless, especially when my prescriptions are never made available on time anyways! I will be switching to a non-Walgreens pharmacy.

Waited twenty minutes for the line to move one space. Prescription that had been called in early morning was not even processed by 6:30pm.The pharmacists we're under staffed and looked like it was their first time in a pharmacy as they looked disoriented and out of sorts. While I wish I could say this is a one off experience, this has been my past four visits. I'll be changing where I get my prescriptions filled and avoiding further headaches.Edit: still 1 star. They failed to fill a simple prescription. I called it in, they needed doctor approval, fine... They claim it was denied. Talked to my doctor, it wasn't denied, they never got a request. Doctor sent in a prescription with 2 refills on the 4th. Today is the 7th they claim they never got a prescription from my doctor. Fairly sure due to the increased demand that this location is throwing away or flat out ignoring some prescriptions. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

After consecutive negative experiences at this Walgreens pharmacy, I am switching to another Walgreens or CVS. Today, I tried to use the automated service to refill a prescription, but I was directed to speak to a pharmacist. After waiting on hold for a solid 40 minutes to speak to someone, I was hung up on. Another recent negative experience was when I received an automated call saying my prescription was ready for pick up, and when I went to pick it up, I was told they never filled it. I asked for it to be refilled even though I had already gone through this process, and was informed they could not fill it due to the pharmacist not being on duty. I called later that day to refill the prescription, and when I went back to the pharmacy the next day, guess who was not present...the pharmacist. If you value diligent, prompt, and personable customer service, then this is a poor choice for pharmacies. Try a different location; I know I am.

Waited in line 20 minutes at the Pharmacy after scheduling an appointment online for a COVID booster, only for the rep at the counter to blatantly lie about non-existent COVID vaccine mandates and not give me the option of the vaccine at all.

This store cannot process prescriptions at all. Where do I even start? The call system does not work. The voice recognition does not work, fine, so we used the old touch-tone system. That doesn't work either. We've called many times, answered all of the questions, only to be put on hold for over 30 minutes to be hung up on at the very end. Do not even attempt to call the pharmacy, the phone line and the automated system do absolutely nothing. Now, this wouldn't be a 1-star review if we could just walk in and get the prescription in-person. But we couldn't do that either. After walking in (and complaining about the faulty call line), the pharmacist told us that "the prescription was cancelled by the doctor". We went back and called the doctor to confirm this, but the doctor confirmed that the prescription was still open. Hoping that it was just a simple error, we requested our doctor to re-open the prescription (and she did). After calling in again, which did absolutely nothing, as expected, we are changing to a different pharmacy. This entire process has taken us over a month to get our prescription. Don't even bother using this pharmacy if you have an urgent prescription.

They have a new pharmacy tech that is incompetent at everything he does. His name is Darshan. Please refuse to see this person. He wasted 2hrs of my time today as he couldn’t transcribe my insurance information correctly. Save yourself and save your time ask for someone else.

Has really declined in quality over the years. Have not answered their phones in the pharmacy since before covid. Phoning in a prescription also hasn't worked for them in a long while. And I have never gotten a helpful answer when asking questions about a medication.I had covid and tried to use the pharmacy window to get medication rather than coming in and exposing people. The pharmacist said that he wouldn't sell thing that were over the counter. He then said regulated, but non-prescription drugs like those including pseudoephedrine would require me by law to come in. Neither of these statements make sense given that CVS will do both through their window. A pharmacy not permitting someone with an illness a safe way of obtaining medicine they need is failing in their central duty.

The pharmacist is beyond rude. She doesn't listen to you when you try to speak...cuts you off in mid sentence. And then today she hung up on me because she said we switched to Meijer she can no longer help me and just hung up. So that means if my Dr calls in a med accidentally to this pharmacy she will cancel it out which has happened 3 times in a week. I always go above and beyond being kind but this woman so rude that I can't even deal with her anymore. She is the reason we switched in the first place...so now we are being punished because we switched pharmacies and if one comes in she is going to cancel it. She even hung up on my nurse and the pharmacist at Meijer. If this is the customer service provided at Walgreens I do not see this store prevailing!!

This pharmacist is useless. Last refill they -forgot- to tell me it was 43 pills short. They didn’t bother to tell me this, of course, so it was a fun surprise when I thought I’d lost my mind since my MH meds were gone despite the bottle saying the number that was supposed to be in the bottle. Also, somehow my 3 meds were more here than picking up the same three meds for me, plus another for me, and 2 for my wife at the Walgreens 1/4 mile away. This pharmacist is bad at math and counting, and clearly terrible at communication with insurance companies. Perhaps all that could be forgiven if she wasn’t so damn mean all the time. I’d rather get a tattoo from a blind man with bad allergies than interact with that piece of work again...

I’d rather shoot myself in the foot then go to this location I’ve never heard of so much poor customer service regardless if it’s the pharmacy or the retail side. With the flimsiest of excuses for failure.

Waited 20 minutes to get a passport photo. The store wasn't busy at all and there were at least 2 other people working there, but apparently the one person who needed to help me was busy cleaning the bathrooms. I used the time waiting to browse the internet and learned that Walgreens passport photos are twice the cost of most anywhere else, so I took my business elsewhere. The only reason I didn't rate this 1 star is because of of the Walgreens staff was genuinely apologetic.

This pharmacy is chronically understaffed. The wait in line - driveup or in store - is always at least 10 to 15 minutes. This is due to the fact they only have one hourly assistant working the store register and driveup as the pharmacist darts around avoiding eye contact with the line of 5+ customers waiting to pickup a prescription. They need more staff. Or the pharmacist making six figures needs to occasionally help.

Truly this pharm has gone downhill - perhaps because Walgreens short staffs, perhaps the corporate is the culprit. Nevertheless, there is zero reason why those working in the pharm are discourteous and downright inconvenienced. Express-a joke-since you still have to wait in line. Now, the Pharm 'has' to close for lunch - cant staff over lunch, nope - the pharm - the pills and evidently the computer system must take a lunch break. I have decided to move to another WG pharm - if that place is broken then I am moving to CVS. Will CVS be better, maybe/maybe not - but I dont have to give my $ to Walgreens. Also, I dont understand why, as a store that professes 'health' continues to sell tobacco and vaping products? After all that, there are (currently) alternative choices to name brand products and i am thankful for these options.

Called and spoke to pharmacist and had been waiting for them “to find it” for over an hour and then it magically popped up while I was on phone. Told him we needed the prescription tonight as my son has seizures when he doesn’t have it said he couldn’t do it. Told him I wanted it transferred to a pharmacy that could and he proceeds to tell me it can’t happen. He was rude and this is not the first time at Walgreens this has happened. This is why we switched and they accidentally called in to Walgreens. This is common for all the Walgreens except the small ones

This is not the pharmacy to use for an urgent prescription. After several hours of waiting and being told to come back in another hour, the prescription was still not filled. At the last attempt to pick up, I was told it would take 2 more hours to fill and that it would probably be best to come back the next day.

Although I tried to buy a cigarette at walgreens today, The employee and the manager rejected to sell that item to me this time for the reason that my id is not valid. They ignored my valid visa issued by US government for identification. They argued they could accept only US passport or Canadian passport as identification to sell a cigarette.I was totally shocked at such their resposes because I could have easily bought cigarettes many times before here without any trouble after showing my visa to them. What in the world their attitude to the customer? Can foreigner not purchase even a cigarette in this countries? That is totally nonsense and kind of discrimination, I think.

Repeatedly the pharmacy is closed yet they still let you sign up for Covid testing. What a waste of time and gas. Let people know on the website or take off Covid testing for specific times. So many better routes to take
