No people/public manners in-person, or when patients collect scripts. Walgreens on Springfield and Mattis have staff in the pharmacy that openly show unappreciative, unwarranted behavior towards patients. Unprofessional and rude. I was on hold for over 30 minutes after their hour lunch break, assuming that their staff were just "busy". I hope they get new professional public health workers that work for the purpose of caring for people.

I used this pharmacy to get a couple vaccinations and it was clear from the moment I got there that the pharmacy is understaffed. Everyone working behind the counter was hustling.There was an issue with my insurance card and it would have been really easy to just send me away and tell me to come back later or sort it out myself, but they wrassled with my insurance people to get it sorted out for me. Special shoutout to Stacy, who was solving problems left and right for people in order to get them on their way with everything they came for. Thank you!!

This pharmacy is mismanaged. No one knows how to prioritize, get the easy stuff out of your way you don’t have to count or measure.Please, Don’t tell me to come back in one hour, and then still not have my prescription ready.It’s always slow service. You can never arrive and pick something up easily. And don’t even tried to call, I’ve sat on the line multiple times for over 30 minutes and still never talked to anyone.

For some reason reviews for this location are housed in two separate places on Google reviews, but I dislike this particular pharmacy enough that I will write two different reviews. I think the real problem is probably managerial or admin - but through and through this is a uniquely dysfunctional pharmacy. They always have internal problems with insurance or properly receiving scripts - they will often tell you to go call your prescriber as if the problem was on their end. Because of how poorly their facility operates, staff are curt as a defense mechanism against naturally frustrated customers. It has never taken less than four visits to successfully pick up a medication - wait times are never less than 20 minutes, regardless of when you go.Seriously, I can't vouch for other nearby pharmacies, but if you have other options use those first.

They send an automated call to say medications are ready and then when you go to pick it up they say it is not prepared yet and it will take another 30 minutes. Additionally, their drive-through pharmacy window is so slow. I waited over 45 minutes with only two cars ahead of me.

Definitely the worst pharmacy I’ve ever and probably will ever encounter. They’ll call you and say your prescription is ready. When it’s not. They’ll make you wait 30 mins to a hour just to “fill your prescription” after you already waited in like for a hour. And no matter if there is 20 people in line or 2 people in line. I’ve never in my life walked out of Walgreens with my prescription with a hour of being there. I’ve waited HOURS before. Absolutely terrible timing and the staff does not make any serious effort to make sure people aren’t waiting in line forever.

Very disappointed with the Walgreen's pharmacy and store management. I really need the new COVID booster as I am immunocompromised. Last week, Walgreen's pharmacy temporarily closed for an unknown length of time. I called Tuesday to see if the pharmacy would be open Thursday. The Pharmacist was a bit irritated and said "We're Back". I was happy to hear this and figured the pharmacist must be busy.I arrived today, Thursday, September 22, 2022, to find the pharmacy boarded up and no pharmacist present. The manager came promptly, and told me he thought he called everyone with a cancelled appointment .When I asked to be worked in tomorrow he said there would be short pharmacy hours Friday September 23,2023 2p-5p?? so, I couldn't be a walk-in tomorrow as they'd be too busy with prescriptions. I asked what other store was not having pharmacist problems but got a vague response.There was no plan to get me rescheduled.. He saw something in my eyes (mask on) I guess, and gave me $10 of Walgreens cash which was nice. But I needed a vaccine appointment soon.I waited 3 weeks for this appointment. I called ahead. I wasn't notified my vaccine was cancelled. They had no plan to handle this even though they had closed down last week. and had the same problem. Poor management. They should reschedule patients throughout their system making sure that higher risk patients get the vaccine sooner.

I rarely ever leave reviews, but this pharmacy is consistently the most inefficient and poorly staffed pharmacy I have ever had the misfortune of using. It doesn’t matter the time of day, who is on staff or how many people are even in line. You can always expect to spend 20-30 minutes minimum waiting in line, often to get to the front and be told that they don’t have the prescription ready, regardless of how long it’s been since you called to request a refill. Constantly several employees doing little to nothing to be of help, who will then be rude to every customer they deal with. Some serious changes are well over due at this location.

This is, without a doubt, the worst pharmacy that I’ve ever used. In the past year that I’ve lived in the area, I’ve waited roughly an hour in each pickup line. Additionally, Walgreens will say that my prescription is ready even when it is not. I know staffing is an issue, but the community depends on pharmacies to fill prescriptions necessary to sustain quality of life. The staff has always been kind, but they cannot make up for the failures of upper management.

Worst pharmacy around. When you try to call, no one answers the phone until you are disconnected or someone picks up and instantly hangs up. After 5 months of constantly trying to call, I still haven't had anyone pick up the phone and help me. The wait is always about 30 mins to an hour regardless if you come inside or the drive through. These last 2 months have been by far the worst experience I've had here. I was waiting for my prescription for a week until I decided to go up there (because I know they don't pick up the phone) and ask what is going on. They told me they had to order them because they didn't have any in stock and told me to wait until a week. I come back in a week and they told me again that they couldn't get it ordered so they had to reordered it again. I come back again the following week and they told me the same thing. They made me wait almost a month without my prescription while waiting in line for at least 30 mins or more each time I came up there. After the third week I gave up and asked my doctor to send my prescription to Meyer's pharmacy which they filled in an hour of getting my prescription. This month my doctor sent my prescription to Walgreens again. I get a voicemail from them last week on 3/3/2022 telling me that my prescription has been ready for a while and they will give me a heads up before it expires/restock it. I go there on 3/5/2022 to find out that I can't get it because it already expired even though they told me that they where going to call me before it did. I go online and create an account to see when they filled my prescription because I never got a call/text or voicemail telling me that my prescription was ready. I found out that they filled my prescription on 2/23/2022 and It expired on 3/3/2022. Then, I looked at what time I got the voicemail from them on 3/3/2022 and it was at 7:53pm an hour before they closed. So, they called me on the same day my prescription expires an hour before closing. Saying this pharmacy is the worst is a watered down statement. This pharmacy is unprofessional, horrendous customer service, no communication, lacks employees, terrible management, no leadership and structure. The manager should be fired from their position.

Staff is incredibly rude and incompetent. It's not just that they can't figure out how to use insurance, they'll blame you for it despite other pharmacy I've been to handling it perfectly. Beyond this, they'll make it obscenely difficult to transfer to another pharmacy, saying "the other pharmacy needs to call" just to leave them on hold. The store is dirty and it's overall a miserable experience being here.

I came here for a covid test on 9/10, but when we showed up the lanes were closed. We had to sit on hold for 15 mins before anyone answered the phone and then we were told to come inside for a covid test!!! When we were finally able to get someone to come to the drive thru, we were yelled at and badgered by the woman at the pharmacy. My test results were supposed to take 48 hours but now it has been 4 days and they still stay that they haven’t been delivered, the Pharmacy Manager can only say that she thinks they’ll be ready tomorrow, but the site specifically says 48 hours.

Don't go to this pharmacy if you can avoid it because if you are in need for something you might get it in maybe 3-4 days. Then when you do pick it up you'll wait on a line of about 10-16 people only to have them tell you when it is your turn it's not ready yet. Talking to the manager does absolutely nothing. Holy moley This is THE WORST Pharmacy I have ever been to. I don’t know who is in charge here, but they need to do some serious retraining and cleaning house. Horrible service. You call in a prescription and it’s never filled when you get there. Always painfully long waits. There has to be something systemically wrong with their hiring or training program because there is absolutely no reason the pharmacy should be this terrible from open to close. Somebody needs to call Walgreens Central and tell them about this pharmacy and get them to have a professional come over here and evaluate this place because it sucks. It is the worst. It’s disgraceful.

Waited in the drive thru at 6:40 so still had 20 min until they closed. I waited and waited and 7:00 hits and they wanna say”sorry were closed” UM no. So I went inside and for my medicine. Idk who that lady was but she was rude and disrespectful she ain’t got no sense in what she doing behind that counter smh. Don’t pick this Walgreens!If I could give zero stars I would.

This pharmacy should not be allowed to remain open. What they are doing could be illegal. We tried to transfer our prescriptions to another pharmacy but that pharmacy says they can't get anyone to answer the phone to make the transfer. So we are stuck without the prescription. We are trying to get the prescribing doctor to switch the order at this point, but with Carle that can take a good piece of your time. Class action lawsuit???

Would give a 0 star if I could. This Walgreens has been possibly the most frustrating and defeating process with a pharmacy I have ever had. They never have medication ready by the time they say it will be ready. They wont make sure they have all of your medications ready and you might get home and not have all of the medication you need. My wait times have been between 30 minutes to 2 hours and 30 minutes for medications.

Worst pharmacy drive thru in the area. There have been times I’ve waited almost an hour with only 2 or 3 cars ahead of me. Driving to the Neil street Walgreens and back to my place is still way faster even though it’s 10 minutes further away. I’ve been notified of scripts being ready and then shown up to find they had no idea when they’d actually have them filled.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This pharmacy is ridiculous. Took my elderly mom to get meds, stood in line 1 hr to find out her script that was called in 10 days prior was still not ready. Next time we went to the pharmacy it was closed with a sign telling you to go to a specific pharmacy. We went there to be told we are very backed up it will be at least 3 days to get your medicine. This Place is a joke. Choose any pharmacy except Walgreens.

Rushed me out and didn’t have correct prescription so they could close and take lunch. They were not nice and too occupied talking about an employee who quit to pay attention I guess. They tried to turn the person behind me away to take lunch and she was upset so they helped her. I had to sit for 30 minutes while they closed waiting to get the correct prescription that THEY messed up. There was another upset customer waiting as well. Also all of my information is incorrect. Address and phone number. Terrible experience. Sounds like this location has a bad reputation through out town. Wish I would have known. I won’t return.

If you can go to a different pharmacy, I encourage you to do so. If you call, the IVR will keep you updated on how many callers are ahead of you, then when you are finally at the top spot, no other callers ahead you, they answer and hang up. Been waiting since yesterday to see why my prescription hasn't been filled, and I can not reach anyone. Their drive-thru is a joke, and they can care less if you receive your medication or not. Smh, Very unprofessional, hell at this rate, I my medication until next week.. You're better off making the medication yourself at this point...

I refill my prescriptions online, and one of my prescriptions had a notice at the top that said “delayed, action needed, call pharmacy” I called the pharmacy and the woman on the phone said “we do not have this medicine in stock. i’ll put it in, but i have 400 scripts sitting here and yours isn’t any more important than the others so it won’t be done for a day or so” I was taken aback as I was simply doing what the online app had told me to do, and I told her it was no rush at all, I just wanted to call and check up on my refill status. She then ubruptly hung up on me. 4 days later, I had to physically go to the pharmacy and ask about my prescription, and see if it could be transferred to another walgreens as this pharmacy did not see my prescription as “important”… and as a result, it had taken almost a week to even be ordered. i normally never complain when it comes to pharmacies as i know they are incredibly busy (especially within recent years), but i felt as though they did not find it important to help me get my meds (which i feel is a poor reflection of a place that is supposed to help individuals access the medicines they need)

Saturday pharmacy went down to drive-thru only due to staffing shortages, was told the rx was ready just to spend 58 min in line to be told it wasnt in stock. Glad gas is cheap enough I can waste it for nothing. Always a problem with this pharmacy every single time I go up there. This place is a clown show that gets worse every day, get your scripts somewhere else unless you happen to like frustration.

5/5/23 @10pm. I was one of over 7 vehicles in a 5 minute window that wanted to buy something. The store hours show being open until 11pm. The front door was locked and nobody was picking up the phone.

The staff tries to help everyone quickly, however they are incredibly understaffed. It seems like the turnover is very high because a lot of the pharmacy technicians don't seem to know exactly what they are doing. Usual wait time for a medication called in at least a day in advance is about 30 to 45 minutes if not longer.

Showed up for my testing appointment to find a sign taped to the drive thru window saying to come inside, which you aren't supposed to do for a test. After 15 minutes holding on the phone I was informed my appointment had been canceled and I wouldn't be able to get a test.

The rest of the store is good, but the pharmacy is habitually terrible. My family has had multiple experiences with the pharmacy running unreasonably behind, not alerting us when a prescription is ready when we’re signed up for alerts, and I have had someone in the pharmacy say “we’re closed” and hang up on me with no chance to say anything after being on hold for over half an hour. I will never use this pharmacy again.

I don't know if this location need staffing but it always and I mean always the longest line in the pharmacy drive through not to mention you sit there almost 20 to 30 min. ringing the bell before anyone appears.don't even try to come in to get your prescription because the line is long as well.

The absolute worst customer service we have ever had with a pharmacy. It takes 10 minutes at a minimum to fill a basic prescription, we have had countless occasions where apparently our health care wasn't on file. There have been several occasions where no one is working nor anywhere near the photo center either, don't know if rehiring the entire staff, pharmacy included would even be an option, but they definitely should if they could.
