There is a whole lot of people (management,corporate,cashiers )whom should truly be ashamed of themselves. You have managers who shouldn’t be managing anyone period . I’ve never seen a tjmaxx so gross, disorganized and the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Experiencing what I experienced most definitely makes me appreciate the Terre Haute,In location so much . I was stunned by how the employees had no clue and the manager whom I honestly thought was a customer . No names badges on almost all I come across and by their appearance makes me wonder what kind of dress code is required?! Managers Smdh . U are supposed to lead by example. No wonder the store and employees look and conduct themselves the way they did. If u walk around looking homeless and like a bum they are going to think it is ok. It’s not . And let’s not forget the lady who decided to eat behind the register instead of helping customers . A all around joke . Product on the floor , things literally everywhere . 80%of shelf’s were completely empty. Avoid this place like it’s Covid . Just save urself the headache and the time ur going waste and just go to Homegoods down the road .

Even though it was 10 days until Christmas, the shelves were well stocked. There were enough cashiers so even though the line was long, it moved fast and customers seemed content. The cashier was friendly and knowledgeable. I found everything that I was looking for and some extras. The aisles were a little small because of the overstock.

The dressing room floors were filthy. I shared my concern with the manager and showed her that most clothing hang on the racks were covered with dusty marks. She blamed the weather and did nothing to rectify the problem. When I asked her for a mop to mop the floor myself, she did willingly provide a mop for me to use.

Only cons of this TJ Maxx is the customer service. Not enough cashiers for a busy weekend day. The line was very long and one cashier was trying to do a price check and none of the fellow cashiers would help her out.There were plenty of other employees who were stocking shelves and wasting time who could’ve helped during the long lines but no they only had 3 cashiers and about 10/12 total employees in the storeOther than that the store was clean and well stocked for the most part. Not so much in the men’s section.

Love the products but the mold issue in this store is unbearable. The dressing rooms reek and the ceilings/air vents are caked. Be cautious if you are mold sensitive, I was there for about an hour today and am having severe allergic reactions as a consequence. Do better.

Horrible customer service, I went to return something and was given attitude by one of the employees. She looked annoyed and was saying how she’s now gonna have to put it back on the rack. Like you’re paid to do that, you don’t have to be rude about it. I’m just returning something.

I haven't been in the store for a long time. It was always cluttered and kinda dirty. But I went in looking for a purse and boy, was I amazed!! It's clean, bright, open so you don't feel like your digging for clothes. It was organized, it's fantastic!! The ladies at the check out were friendly. Great job TJ Max!!

I share with you my tale of boredom. It begins with the promise of, "Just running in for soap". It ends 20 minutes later with soap. How can the selection of soap take so long. I would rather shave a small piece of my finger off then head back to the store.

It's like a treasure hunt. Sometimes I can find great clothes and stuff at a bargain price, something I come out bare hand. The store is a medium size, so it's good for a walk.People here are very nice and friendly, which you will also find from other shops in Champaign.Very nice place!

Based on a Mid-afternoon visit:Masks are optional for those who are fully vaccinated.Surprised to see a location like this with a large variety in home decor and jewelry.Friendly staff, easy check out, but watch out for those associates pushing to sign up for their store card. I never understood why their price points are higher than Marshalls and Ross.Don’t know if I’ll be coming back…mostly because I declined to sign up for the store card (10% off isn’t worth it).

So many categories/depts. to shop: clothing, home, some food items, kitchen gadgets, cookware etc. You get the idea. Great place & fun to shop there. You never know what you will find- that you just have to have. 😆

It is always a nice little stop, and my wife loves going there.I personally recommend browsing for the Clearance Sections: There is always something interesting there.

Great store to find lowly discounted items. It's hit or miss when trying to find something I like but I've bought a few name brand clothing items for less than half of the normal store cost. I've also bought many blankets from here since they're so soft and cheap.

TJ Maxx just doesn't do it for me anymore with the Home Goods store and knows the same Corporation owner I would say their house or department is the best part about the store. The staff was not particularly friendly or helpful. But I do think the business has slipped since the days when I would go in there and they had the most amazing purses and I used to go in there and buy Juicy Couture purses like nothing now I don't see any quality purses whatsoever

It's TJ Maxx. You want it, and it fits, buy it.Most items are less expensive than other locations, but some are from stores that even with the discount, are more expensive. Socks here are a good value vs other locations, but furniture is more expensive. Furniture is unique and cute if you want it for show.Shoes, purses, clothes, etc keep an eye out for a bargin. Same with standard housewares. Pet supplies are also cute.There is jewelry, taste changes seasonally, and there is a discount section for those items that don't sell well.Food is also unique and mixed; not only in price, but culture. Don't be afaird to try new foods. There is always chips, candy, dried fruit, salaas, sauces, and chocolates.Public bathrooms are small and clean. Parking in free. Bags are plastic free or others you can buy more sturdy from 99 cents to 45 dollars for the most of expensive backpack seen.Staff has headsets, with knowledge on how to use, to answer questions in all departments.At this time, social distancing is encouraged. There is a queueing arrangement, with last minute goods on all sides, and they have shields at the registers.Carts were cleaned, where you can see, and if you see someone cleaning, they also are on headsetsThere is always a manager on duty. Exchanges and store credit are easy with receipt of purchase or gift receipt.Some marked down / clearance items are "as is" and can not be returned. Ask before purchasing, if unsure, or giving as a gift. Gift receipts can be had all year round. They do also have a store card where you can gain points in some manner, it changes from time to time.The only cart return is within the store. There is a ramp to the left and right of the store, if needed, or a staff person can be authorized to help you out with your items, especially in bigger or heavier items or in bad weather.Items can change daily - enjoy the hunt!

Counter person was great but one of the staff members was on the phone with a customer. This lady had the trouble communication skills. I would have hung up and did business with another company. After the call was over, the associate made a rude comment about the caller.
