I'm diabetic and I love Baked goods. But I have to be very careful. Japanese Pastries are sooo much better!! Sweet but not overkill. Very Delicious Very tasty. So good!*I'm not saying it's Sugar Free or low Carbs. I'm just saying it doesn't taste sugary Sweet and I like that.

A beautiful and spotlessly clean shop featuring a nice array of (mostly) Japanese style sweets. They aren’t particularly cheap, but the quality and flavor speaks for itself: everything I’ve had has been delicious. This style of baking (the items I’ve had anyways) is considerably less sweet than what I suppose you might call western style sweets. All told-highly recommended!

Very good place. We tried several things. It was all very good! Wednesday matcha roll top notch. Cherry green tea was so good. I'm not a big fan of red bean paste but the an pan was pretty good. Sold out of the egg salad but the ham and cheese rolls were very good. Fruit pie tasted like good fresh fruit not sugar flavor red. If you like chocolate or brownies at all you have got to get the miso brownie!

We got the strawberry roll cake to go for a birthday, and ate the cheesecake, cranberry tart, cream puff, and Anpan in the store. Everything was fantastic, and they even had Japanese staff. Everything was a 10/10 experience!

I’d been craving some sweet treats for days, but every cafe I went to let me down. When I found myself downtown, I decided to pop into Suzu, since I knew their pastries would be reliably delicious. Little did I know that I would be experiencing something almost spiritual. I ordered the anpan and the yuzu cake.When I bit into the anpan, I had to pause and savor the perfection of the bread. Eating sliced bread day in and day out, I’d forgotten that bread, in and of itself, could be incredible. Alongside the subtle yet distinct flavor of the red bean paste, I was transported to another dimension.I chose the yuzu cake because it was charmingly shaped like the fruit itself. While the top of the little cake was smooth and perfect, with a crystalized bit of peel for garnish, the interior of the cake was kept moist with an infusion of yuzu flavor.If I ever find myself in need of a sweet treat in the future, I’ll be sure to make my way directly to Suzu, a true gem of a bakery.

Horrible Customer Experience! I preordered and prepaid for an order that included a 6” cheesecake well in advance for a Valentines Day event. When I arrived to pick it up I was given my order, but when I checked it the cheesecake was not included. When I informed the clerk that my order was missing my cheesecake, I was informed that they did not have the size I had purchased, and my only option was to make an additional purchase of two 4” cheesecakes which together cost more money and did not include as much cake as the one I originally purchased. If this is how you treat your customers, I will absolutely not be returning.

They specialize in Japanese pastries and cookies. The best part? They're not too sweet, so you can enjoy them without feeling overwhelmed by sugar. We tried a few treats and our top picks were the Kurumiko and An Pan - they were so delicious! ❤️

My wife and I had a great time here. The baked goods are delicious, and our chai latte was better than any other we have had. Beautiful spot for Asian/Japanese style baked treats. I’ve also had a matcha cake ordered from here for a birthday and it was the best I’ve had. Cute interior and lots of seating, also outdoor seating.

If you are in the market for a wonderful, delicious, that perfect “not too sweet” dessert spot, head to Suzu’s Bakery!As someone who grew up on bakeries in the streets of Japan, Suzu’s just brings back happy and delicious memories. They have anything from delicious roll cakes of various flavors to shu cream to an pan to shoku pan! I love their seasonal treats like kohi zeri that I can’t find anywhere else in town along with their matcha soft serve.Their location is super cute and I highly recommend you stop by! If you are also in the market for celebratory cakes, definitely look into Suzu’s and they will treat you right!

Wow 1st time in Suzu & I must say everything I bought was amazing!! Treats for my dogs they loved & are trying to get the treats I bought for myself! Great customer service, great products. It’s hard to find authentic shu cream in US but their Shu cream is sooo tasty! Comes in different flavor (custard, chocolate & match). Also ordered cheese cake & mini Yuzu cake. Haven’t tried them yet; they looks super cute & I’m sure they’ll be tasty lol. The yuzu cake actually comes in real size lemon shape. :)This bakery is at the old location of cream&fluffy (which I also love & kind sad it’s gone). If you ever pass by, you really should try it out!

Really cute little bakery. The worker was really nice with explaining the baked goods since it was my first visit. The miso chocolate cake was really good! Definitely coming back for the cheesecake next time 😊

Perfect bakery with amazing service! My boyfriend ordered a macha cake for me last year and in early March, I ordered the 8inch chocolate cake for pick up and 6 inch strawberry cake for delivery for my boyfriend's birthday party on two consecutive days! All of our friends love it, even for those that doesn't like sweets adore the cake so much! It's definitely a huge success to order cakes from there! The cake looks elegant and tastes amazing! The fruit on top is fresh and the layers inside is carefully designed. Also, the wooden utensils was a huge plus if you bought them! They even gave us some mocha candies for free and they are so tasty! It's a definite recommend for everyone at any age!
