Okay, experience. No one really asked if we needed help, and the guy at the front didn't seem very friendly, and neither did he make us feel welcome. He appeared to be focused on his phone and wanted to rush us out of the store. I dont shop here often because the staff is never friendly.

I was extremely disappointed with my trip to shoe carnival a few days ago. The manager there was extremely rude. He followed me around for no reason I even bought shoes! The cashier even apologized for his behavior.

Price can be cheaper or more expensive than online shopping. It's still a good place to shop, but you need to do some homework if you want to find the best deal.

After posting my comment I received emails and phone calls! All was due to an email about me picking up the item, that I did not, which was an error on their part. And a telephone line that they did not know they were having problems with.District manager contacted me multiple times explained everything and relieved my anxiety. My order was there and I was able to pick it up with pleasant and friendly service! Thank you Shoe Carnival for making it right.

The good thing about shopping here is that they put reasonable price and have a variety of different designs and if you can't find a perfect size for you, you can request them to order for you at your address with no added cost!! I have been there several times and I love this place.

Usually the staff is nice but none were very friendly when I shopped at the Champaign, IL location today. One employee was cleaning the windows on the front door. I was walking up to enter when he came out to clean the outside but instead of holding the door open, he shut it and I had to move around him to open the other door; he didn't even say hello. As I was ready to checkout, the girl up front was checking out a family in front of me. They were having an issue so I understoood that it would be a minute. But another employee was also behind the counter picking up and moving random things, and then wiping down random surfaces. She put her stuff down and walked up to a register and began hitting a few buttons, so I naturally assumed she took notice that the family was taking longer than normal and she was just going to check me out so I wouldn't have to wait as long. But instead she pointed at the girl at the first register and said she'd be with me in just a moment. I thanked her and continued to wait, but then the first girl walked away with the family trying to resolve their pricing issue. Again, understandable, but the second lady just stood behind the counter, making no move to help a waiting customer. Soon the first girl and the family came back and they finished their transactions and left. When she finally said I could come up, she gave a very un-sincere apology about my wait. I am not one to cause a scene so I stayed cordial, but I was very irritated. I do not plan on coming back again to this location if I'm going to be treated like that.

Will never go to or order from this store/company again. Shoes have been stuck in Indy for a week now, it's been 9 days since I ordered them. So shipping has been horrible. Not to mention, Josh is a very rude person and seemed offended when I asked about a promotion. Such a shame, I used to love this store/company.

I wish they carried more wide widths (especially very wide, such as 3e or 6e.) Still, very good selection, lots of sales, and this local store has some excellent employees. We've always had a great experience working with them.

this is a good place to get the size and style of shoe that you want. After shopping online getting sent the wrong style and size I found this is a much better alternate so you can actually pick them out and walk out on them yes you like.

Stopped in with my boyfriend to find him some new work shoes. It's very difficult for him to find shoes that fit his wide feet, so we got some help from a wonderful employee. Jake was so helpful! He brought us endless pairs to try all while being so sweet and knowledgeable! Great staff and there's almost always a sale.

There's a lot of different shoes here. I've found decent variety for both me and my son in the past. However, during our last trip we found shoes for him, but I found the selection of hiking boots a bit lacking.

Won’t be ordering from this place again. 11 days (so far) for a pair of shoes to travel 8 hours is ridiculous. Constantly showing updates for the same place (3 updates for one facility arriving, arriving, processing) it arrived in Indy on Friday the 27th and has not moved since. This facility is an hour and a half away but it’s going to take another 5 days to get to me?!?! Was supposed to be delivered on Friday the 27th but for some reason was moved out to the 1st. We will see if they arrive on time or not. Either way the lack of movement and delayed delivery are reason enough for me to shop elsewhere, from now on give your money to the company that can deliver on time and not take almost 2 weeks for something other companies are doing in 2 days. .

Went with 11 yr old daughter. As soon as we walked in the "manager" had an associate to tears and was verbally scolding her in the front of the store.Needless to say... We turned right around .I believe the managers name is/was Lana????Hopefully the associate see this. I am sorry..Please find another job

My daughter bought me some shoes I couldn't fit, took them back to exchange. I did not even have to look for them. The lady at the front desk picked up the right size and checked me out in less than 10 minutes probably 5!

Terrible customer service. Asked a manager for help finding a size for my son and she barely looked at me while she waved her hand and said, if it's not out there then we don't have any. Finally, with no more assistance from the other 6-7 employees in the store, we found him a pair. Just as we were leaving they announced one of those 15 minutes only sales on some already for sale items. I found a pair of boots and thought with the sale already going on of BOGO half off, the boots should be pretty cheap. Get up to the register and am told that doesn't apply to the sale they just announced. Huh?! Why not? Again called the manager up and she wouldn't even look at me or speak to me just to the cashier. Wouldn't explain why? Never going to this place again. Shoes aren't any cheaper than anywhere else where there is real customer service. Too many places to choose from out here to put up with this. Shame on you Shoe Carnival.

Store review:It's taken me five years to visit shoe carnival for the first time. I would say that I was impressed by the selection of shoes and the discounts that they had. Overall they have quite a variety and a lot that is on the side walk sale. There is even a basketball hoop at the back of the store for your kids to play with. I unfortunately left empty-handed but I'll be back.Pros: Lots of choices of shoes. the store was so over crowded, shoppers was walking in standing right on top each other. even alot of children. employees working at the doors thats more for shoplifters. no concern about covid Illinois laws. the store was filled with cannabis smoke I stated to get a bad headache so me and my family turned around left the store. never go back to shoe carnival. so not safe with all the children being in the store. I even going to put a complaint into the health department

My wife is in the hospital getting ready for rehabilitation and needed new shoes. Had to exchange shoes 4 times. Im terrible at shopping. Hope they fit this time. Staff are very helpful with no questions asked. Excellent service

Customer service was nonexistent. They also wanted to make us buy shoes without trying on one of them. Female workers spoke to each other while ignoring customers. No one working the floor at all.Selection was so-so at best. Make the trip to Bloomington. Skip the Champaign store

If you have feet that are wide or narrow forget about it! They stock very little other than normal width shoes. For me this is a serious problem with these big box type shoe stores. They have nothing for me - having just a bit wider than normal feet. They can order shoes for me but I can do that from home without their help. The trouble is I want to try shoes on before I buy.

Selection is not that great. Prices are okay. I wouldn't shop here for myself but for kids shoes that need to be replaced basically every year, it might be worth stopping by here.

This place has a wide selection but not very good deals. There cheap shoes are generally low quality. My partner bought shoes and the liner riped the first time he put them on outside the store. I got boots and the heels have noticable wear after one day.
