Nice store with good selection of foods. They’ve instituted a maximum number of items you can check through self service but haven’t hired enough checkers. Hire more people if you’re going to institute such rules and expect customers to follow them!

Love the store, it's layout and the cashier's.Although your Deli department has some immediate issues. I manage a store in Champaign, and If I treated my customers the way I was treated this evening 4.14.24 (Sunday afternoon) like this guy upset having to help me like I am a nusience to his personal standing around being not busy (Not the first time)...Well I guess that's the new norm. If you care about your image like My company expects of me, this issue should be addressed asap...Just my thoughts.

Generally like the quality and the friendliness of the staff however today Sunday I went in to take advantage of the $5.99 the chicken wings in the deli. The smaller round container had the price of 13.99 and I put it on the scale to weigh it it was 1.77 pounds and the price did not reflect the 599 Sunday special . I was told that that would only apply to Wings placed in the black styrofoam container. The wings that were on the bar were pretty hard and fried for a long time and there weren't very many there it would be great if they had a sign explaining that if you put Wings into the round container the Sunday pricing would not apply. Disappointed 😥

I have almost only had disappointing experiences at the Schnucks on in Champaign. The checkout lines were extremely long and the layout of the store is so overcomplicated and seems to not make any cohesive sense. A trip here that should take all of less than 10 minutes takes me almost a full half hour between trying to find what I'm looking for, only to find it in a part of the store it makes no sense to be in and dealing with the god awful self checkout software that moves at a snails pace and almost always needs interaction from the attendant that seems to be busy with something other than the self checkouts. All of this, not to mention the staff here are just rude and seem to be upset with being there constantly in a way that seems to be the customers fault somehow. Asking simple questions like where something is, or help with the checkout breaking constantly leads to massive sighs and irritated demeanors. Even in the normal checkouts, which also are staffed by maybe a single person, seem to have issues.The fact that this is a corporate office store for them is insane to me, considering that both the other locations in town are far nicer and much better to shop at. I even see some of the corporate folks walking around the store every so often, pointing at things and talking about stuff that seems to clearly be a big nothing burger considering the store never seems to improve or get cleaner. Can't imagine how frustrating it is to work at a store like this.

2 open registers and 8 customers waiting in line is not a sustainable long term. If the self checkout is going to be heavily regulated to 10 items or less then a staffing adjustment is necessary. I will take more and more of my business elsewhere

Love their salad bar and produce section..6-1-2023THE'RE SALAD BAR IS OPEN!! It opened JUST today and I took advantage of filling up my bowl to use the $4 OFF coupon. Oh how I have missed the salad bar!! They also have a hot bar a few feet away from the new salad bar. I'm SO excited!!

Because of the cupcakes in the bakery. They for a few weeks were colorful and had cartoon characters and designs. Suddenly this week they are now once again plain white. Such a waste. Whoever made the colorful cupcake was doing justice to that bakery that was steadily going downhill. Started to see improvement and now it's gone again!!!!! FIX IT!!! Kids are disappointed just as much as parents and customers.

Due to the fact that they didn’t have enough employees to checkout customers we went to the self checkout which I typically refuse to do. The employee who was supposed to be providing assistance was on his phone and then rude when I asked for help. The best way to solve this is to hire more employees and pay them a thriving wage. Not a living wage. A thriving wage. With the cost of groceries I would think that you could do that. Won’t be going back to this store anytime soon.

Schnucks in Illinois! Get all your St. Louis favorites in Illinois. They don't make the king of the hill sandwiches as good as they used too, but I still go out of my way to pick them up. Also resupply my Gates BBQ stash while I'm passing through. Thanks Schnucks, see you soon!

They changed it so that the giant self check section in 10 items or less, so if you need to get more than 10 items, it’s like 15 minutes waiting in line.

I don’t come here often and every time I do I remember why.I don’t know what’s going on here, but the owners should be embarrassed by this store. The staff is great, BUT there is always a long line for the checkout (only 2-3 checkers for the entire store no matter the time or day), basically forcing you to use the self checkout. I don’t work here so why are you making me do the work and pay full price?!The last three times I’ve been here the self check has been finicky about bringing your own bags, tells me after EVERY scan that I need to take the item out, and payment processing pad have to be reset (turned off and booted back up).Corporate greed at its best, I guess.

Three strikes. You're out!1. I had to drive up and down several lanes in the parking lot to find a small cart.2. When I went inside, there was no receptacle near the door for my recylable bags.3. After scanning the items at the self checkout, my credit card was rejected. Nonsense! My credit is good, as I subsequently determined via phone call.I WILL NOT RETURN TO THIS STORE.☹☹☹

park in the center or near grocery side of approaching 7pm be cause they some time close the other doors extremely early. atmosphere not the best doesn't feel like other schnucks location. savoy one is definitely great selection of alcohol and N/A beverages. I really enjoy the Delhi that you can walk around.

I originally gave this Schnucks a five-star review sometime in 2017 and now I'm coming back five years later to say why I still love this Schnucks. The customer service is great, and yesterday I happened to be shopping with my toddler and one of the cashiers flagged me down to tell me they were giving away balls, and would my son like one? It pretty much made both of our days, and now he has a new favorite toy. She definitely didn't have to do that, and it's just a little example of how this place treats their customers.

I've been missing out on good quality produce lately because we typically shop at Aldi and the fruit is super bland. I decided to do a little produce run at Shnucks instead since it's closer to me, and omg...after trying their fruit I think I'm going to exclusively shop for fruit at Shnucks from now on. My stawberries actually tasted sweet like strawberries should lol. Very clean and kept up nicely too!
