Not sure who answered the phone, a pharmacist or tech, but they were great. Carle sent my script to the wrong Meijers, but this person did not make me wait to go thru maybe days of trying to get it fixed thru the doctor. Took care if it right away. Had it ready in less than a half hour

Instead of filling prescriptions the day received (regardless how early in the day), Meijer's default is to fill by 2 PM the following day. Costco and CVS usually fill the same day, but sadly Meijer is less expensive (through SingleCare - like GoodRx but cheaper) for most of my medications.I also hate that they seal prescriptions inside plastic bags with personal information printed on them. Shredders don't work with plastic bags, so I melt mine with a lighter to securely dispose of them, which is a pain.My insurance doesn't cover a 90-day prescription, but Meijer will run it through anyway, only filling for 30, so when I go to pick it up, I not only have to get them to switch it from insurance to SingleCare to get the better price, but I also have to get them to redo the quantity for the full 90. This usually requires a lengthy explanation to get them to understand what happened (even though they're the ones who did it), followed by a 45 minute wait for them to fix it. After this happened multiple times, I asked if there was some way to stop them from doing this, but they said it was not possible and that everything goes through insurance by default with apparently no way to change that. They kept doing this, until finally I had to request that they completely remove my insurance from their system, since that was apparently the only way to get them to stop.It shouldn't be such a frustration to get the best prices for your medications, but that's clearly not a priority at Meijer pharmacy (and sadly most other pharmacies).

It’s always scary changing pharmacies if you regularly visit them. I have never been so impressed with a pharmacy more than the Meijer in Champaign. They are always kind, helpful, and always willing to help. I can’t recommend Meijer Pharmacy in Champaign enough. I always ask them if I can ever do anything for them, because they are always so quick to help me. They always respectfully decline. I try to leave reviews where I can for them, because I believe they should be commended for their great work. If you are in the Champaign area and are looking for a great pharmacy, look no further. Customer service is Horrible, they literally hang up on me when i call. Thought it was an accident at first but they have done it 4 times in a row. Good thing its not life or death cause they dont care. Go somewhere else!!

The staff is very nice! They always pick up the phone and help me with my questions and they refill my medications really fast. I was wayyy better treated than at any of the CVS in Champaign, never going back to those.
