Good home improvement stores.Everything is here.Of course, not everything of everything. You know what that means. Sometimes You need to go around all three big stores to find that pipe connector.This one doesn't have rental service. Go to hime depot if that's what you're looking for.

I have tried to order a washer and dryer 3 times now. Twice on-line and once over the phone. Both the online orders were sent to a store that did not service my area for delivery. After speaking directly to the store responsible for delivery to my area, the Champaign store, she placed me on hold for 20 minutes and never returned to the phone. I guess Lowe’s does not want my $1000 order.

Purchase a stainless steel dishwasher it was delivered. The delivery team, only wanted to acknowledge the numbers missing on my mailbox. The delivery team smacked my mailbox and would rather argue with a customer, instead of finding a solution to the problem. Not the fact the mailbox pole is turned to the side. Been arguing with lowes claims department for like 2 weeks. Sent pictures of my mailbox leaning to the side and the only thing they want to speak about the missing number's. Lowe's im very shocked about your poor customer service skills, horrible mangers. I would happily take my future business elsewhere .

Used to be my go-to home improvement store in CU, in spite of Home Depot being closer to home, and Menards cheaper. Some better quality products, I like the in-store navigation on the app, and the kobalt line is a good value, esp for power tools.But this review was written from Menards as Lowes seems to headed downhill. Hard to find anyone in the store, especially anyone knowledgeable. Awful self checkouts. The final straw was that I went to return a brand new product a month or so beyond the 90 days return date. It was never opened, I had the receipt, and it is still a stocked. Menards would return that all day long because they know that projects sometimes go long (store credit would be fine). But they refused my return so now I'm at Menards (save big money) and will continue to avoid Lowe's. The explanation given was it's policy, and there is no way their system can accept the return. Returns past 90 days should be accepted on a case by case basis. The "system won't let me policy" takes the power from employees to do right by customers (especially when it's something that does not hurt Lowe's, i. e. returning an unused, still stocked item not long after 90 days). Menards will take care of me, so I'll be shopping there.

When we got this table home to put together, right out of the box the tile was cracked and sharp and the edge bent. This making a replacement tile impossible to get. The whole table has to be replaced. So after calling 6+ times, and 2 store visits always getting the run around to try and get this table we purchased replaced, we have had enough. The table is still damaged. So if my daughter cuts her hand or hurts herself on the cracked tile, I'll be sending the medical bill to you Lowes.

Blair did an outstanding job assisting my husband and I while shopping at the Champaign location for appliances. Blair answered all our questions, was very patient, friendly, energetic and funny. I wish everywhere we shop people would be more like Blair. WELL DONE BLAIR! We could tell you cared and you enjoy your job and you are very good at it! Keep up the good work! The pro desk was unable to understand a specific request and kept bringing me to an obviously wrong product. On their website, which I had already checked.I had checked the website and the item wasn't there so I came in asking about special ordering it. This is at the contractor desk. They kept going to their website.They appeared to think that a kiln dried 2x4 was something special. After explaining what (kiln dried after treatment) KDAT wood is, about six times, the only thought they could wrap their head around was the word "kiln". The second guy showed me 16 ft kiln dried 2x4s, cuz he couldn't find any 8-footers. That's right, they didn't find an untreated piece of wood, that had been in a kiln, in an 8 ft length. Not only wasn't I helped they screwed up in finding a 8ft 2x4 that has a magic word "kiln" associated with it.After a bunch of bad experiences as a contractor, for a long time I just avoided Lowe's when possible.A while ago they got some guys at the contractors desk that seemed like they wanted to turn it around. I gave Lowe's a shot in trying to find this product. That was a mistake. I think those guys are long gone.Going to have to go with normal pressure treated lumber, and Lowe's actually has some PT lumber out front right now that looks pretty good. Right in front of the contractor entrance. But I just left. I'm going to go get lunch and then give somebody else my money. It's not a huge project so, $2,000 - $3,000 in materials, probably.I can get the 11% rebate at Menards, or even better Home Depot will match that. And there's a good lumber yard in Urbana and a decent lumber yard in Champaign.If the wood at the other places is worse, I'll come back. I'm not going to shoot myself in the foot on principal. But I do have choices as to where to go. Lowe's is again the place of last resort.And with Amazon stocking Bosch batteries, there might be no reason for me to come back to Lowe's.Unless I need a weird size piece of cedar. Although one of the other places has a decent selection now, so that might not be necessary. It was quite a while ago when I was forced to buy the cedar at Lowe's. (But I bought the 40 gallons of stain for that project somewhere else.)Or maybe acrylic sheet, I don't think the other box stores will cut acrylic for you. So if you'd like somebody to cut your lexan I guess it would be a tolerable experience. Except when the machine is broken or the guy isn't there. If they still offer the service.

ONLY place in Champaign-Urbana that stocks electric fireplace logs. Thought we could see options working, but no. We still got the one we came in looking for though! Sales floor help was slim and the cluster of employees we finally found started to duck and scatter when we approached. Until one lady heard what I asked about and she was all about showing us to them. I ALWAYS return here!

The sales associate entered my order incorrectly resulting in the wrong refrigerator being delivered to me. After a call to the store, a call to corporate customer service and a call to the distribution facility, I still do not have the correct refrigerator. I am being told they will have to pick up the wrong one and then later bring the right one but they took my old one and that will leave me with no refrigerator. I'm beyond frustrated with this experience and will not be shopping at Lowe's in the future.

bought a fridge here when ours went out. Went in on a Wednesday evening and nobody was scheduled to work in the appliance section. Nice guy from lawn dept helped us find the fridges I researched online. Was supposed to be delivered on Sunday. somehow the order got cancelled within their system with no notice to me. it was a mess. After an hour on the phone the manager apologized and set us up for a delivery the following Wednesday. The afternoon before scheduled delivery we got the automated call saying delivery would be between 10a-2p. 8am on the day of delivery I get a call saying they will be at my house for delivery in 15 minutes. It was a total cluster because none of the timeline I was given was accurate. But the delivery guys were fast and efficient, less than 30 min to remove old fridge and install new one.

Very disappointed and angry. I bought a few plants from them about 3 weeks ago, and a week or two ago I discovered that one of the plants I brought home is infested with MEALYBUGS, and I recently saw a mealybug on one of the other plants that I brought to work. I wish I took photos before cleaning them. Mealybugs can be extremely difficult to get rid of. The plants I bought were in two separate areas of the garden so to me that would mean that their whole garden has potentially been infested with the Mealybugs. Some of my plants that I already had for years have been affected by this now too. This is extremely irresponsible and negligent for a store that has a garden and sells plants. I don’t like when the life of a plant is wasted so I won’t be returning them just from them to throw them away, and will be going through the annoying process of getting rid of the Mealybugs. I don’t see myself buying plants or shopping from them at all in the future. If you do I would recommend checking for pests and isolating newly bought plants, or simply going elsewhere to get new plants.

Ordered a Christmas gift on 12/8, was delivered to store on 12/15, I ordered "professional assembly" and was told they put me on a waitlist for assembly on 12/27 after I called the store to follow up since it showed delivered to the store weeks prior. On 1/5 I received an email it was ready. I called to be sure it was ready since I lived about 45 minutes away, I had to call 5 times to get to a person, who assured me it was assembled, she "checked". I went to pick up and tried to get ahold of curbside to bring it out, they never answered the phone. When I went into the store the customer service person - I am fairly sure the same gal who told me it was assembled - seemed annoyed to be dealing with me. They brought me what you see in the photos - the item unassembled. I ended up leaving the store without the item as the box looked banged up and they said they could try and find another. At that point I had spoken to 4 different people at the store while they tried to figure out what to do, even though I was told they had more on site they kept having to ask someone else, after 45 minutes it seemed like a lost cause. I would have taken it unassembled at that point, but the box damage was concerning since it was a metal item. Negative experience. I would encourage people to shop elsewhere, there was a lot of confusion and miscommunication between their own team members.

I spent an hour trying to find the box with the light or fan that I wanted, often finding that what was hanging overhead on display wasn’t actually in stock. Nobody was able to help. When I finally chose some lights and fans that I could live with, they were ringing up with prices higher than what was on the display. An employee came to help me and I asked if the store would honor the prices posted by the product. She said no, the prices are as they ring up. I went to another store, where the prices rang up as they were posted. This place is wildly dishonest and nobody is around to help.

I Would have given zero Stars If it was possible! I was on the phone 18 minutes waiting for someone to answer a question. No one ever picked up! I could tell I was being sent to the music recording. I will never spend another penny with lowes. I'm a contractor starting a 3 unit unit building renovation and wanted to do some planning and arrange deliveries. Not anymore!!!

if i could leave 0 stars i would. we recently moved into a new house and was in need of new dryers and washers. on 07/09/23 we bought the samsung ones at this store and asked them if we can have it delivered. the delivery team came 3 days later and can i just say, worst expirience ever. they dryer came dented on the side and told us we would be able to exchange it for new ones. when they were taking the washer out, they ran the cable over with a wheel and was dragging across concrete. so not only the dryer was damaged, they also damaged the washer cable on spot. we told them we would like to exchange both the dryer and washer and they told us we can and they would deliver it and exchange it for the damaged ones. 2 weeks go by and the delivery team comes again, only with the dryer this time. they said we never put in a request for the washer and i reassured them we did and showed them the damage, the 2 guys that were checking the damage out went to the other guy that was at our first delivery meet. the 2 guys explained the situation and the firt meet guy says "they did the damage themselves on the spot, so it wasnt us". they were also judging and laughing at us because we spoke a different language other then english and couldnt "understand properly" (i speak fluently in english). the audacity to say that!! and they thought we didnt hear him say that but we clearly did. as they were taking out the dryer, its damaged. same spot as the other one. i told them to take it back and bring us a new onr. they once again said, we could exchange it. i ask about the washer because they didnt even bring it, and said they would deliver the dryer and washer. so now here we are, almost a month after we bought the washer/dryer set, and no new ones without any damages. other reviews and family members i see had the same problem with this lowes. worst store ever. wouldn't recommend.

Thank you for YOUR service!!I visited the Champaign, Illinois store on Friday, June 23, 2023 to sign up for the military veterans discount and was impressed beyond words with the great service I received at the store, especially David at the Customer Service counter, Terry in Home and Garden, and the two nameless forklift operators who stopped their routine inventory placement in order to help me load a pallet of cedar boards into my truck. Just outstanding service from everyone I met, and so very different from the usual drudgery/drama forced on customers at our local Orange Store. I'm an hour drive from Champaign but will be making the trip to buy from you folks from now on. Thanks again.

I'd give negative stars if I could.Stay completely away from the Champaign Illinois store. They basically stole the use of my money for 6 months, against my will. They demanded payment in advance to install new windows and build a fence at the house, I had just purchased. Installation was to be in September, but I made it clear it all HAD to be complete before winter. "Project Manager" assured me this was not a problem. By October I was being told "next week", "next couple weeks", "we're trying to squeeze you in". By December I was told windows would be done in January, and fence "maybe in February". I put a stop to this nonsense, and said I wanted to cancel and get a refund. Who would want windows removed in the dead of winter? Getting the refund took 2 weeks, multiple calls, and trips to the store where they kept me waiting extended periods. This all should be illegal. The incompetence has created mutiple problems, and caused me time, money, and injuries. I had to buy supplies and spend 3 days reinforcing my windows for winter. I'm in my late 60's and fell off the ladder a few times injuring myself. This all made me swear never to set foot in this store again. I consider these people criminals, frankly.I've since heard similar stories from other people in town. I have to wonder if they ever complete any installations, or if they just contract to get interest free operating loans. Refunds for should include interest my money could have earned.
