Larry is very kind and knowledgeable about his photography. I went to his gallery to purchase a book for a relative out of state and we chatted for awhile. I absolutely love the photos of the Illinois scenery and thought the book would be a great addition to our relative's coffee table! Larry is SO talented! Many people think the flatlands of Illinois are boring. Larry has such an eye … he captures things in such a way that these flatlands are beautiful! His photographs make me appreciate things more than I ever have before. Sometimes my fiancé’ and I are driving in the country and one of us will say … look ‘There’s a Larry Kanfer scene”. It might be how the sun or sunset amplifies things. I have his books and will give them as gifts to people. Before he opened this studio, I had him take a resume photo for me.
