Can’t say enough great things about these guys! After dealing with headache after headache with our pool from the 70’s and getting huge bids from other companies in town, these guys were able to get it up and running and make necessary repairs for a totally reasonable price! Noel and Jenny are also amazing communicators and answered our questions and kept us up to date. 10/10 would recommend!

In the middle of a cold snap, the crew from Imperial Pools came out and inspected my hot tub for necessary repairs to the heating elements. They also made recommendation on parts that could use some maintenance to extend the life of my hot tub, as I do use it very regularly in the winter. Although the parts were on back-order for a bit, once they arrived they installed them and the hot tub has been working perfect every since.

We are always super happy with the work these guys do. They really excel at communicating with us, giving us a heads up when they are on their way, and asking us where we want to store stuff that gets put away after they are done. They send us pictures of the work they do that show very detailed analysis of the water and chemicals, and really go above and beyond to make sure we understand how to keep things working great. I purchased a big book on how to do all this stuff myself, but I have no plans to even try. These guys do it so much better than I can and have higher quality cleaners, pumps and gauges that do the job much better. Thanks so much!

We had contacted them back in January that we were interested in having an above ground pool installed. We were interested in this company because we were told they did saltwater pools. Since then I had sent numerous emails and finally received an email that they had not received updated prices. Weeks go by and I stopped by and was told there were 2 in ground pools estimates ahead of me. Again I asked when we may know something talked about just having someone level and was told starting price would be $15000 for an above ground pool plus the mileage. I felt like they were blowing us off because we weren’t spending 100000 for an unground. Still have not heard from them. They evidently are not interested!

I will start by telling you to not tokenize your card on their digital payment processing. You will agree to their terms and conditions that are not at all in your favor.My experience with Imperial Pools has been nothing short of a disaster. I hired them in March 2022 to fix a small leak in my hot tub pump, and what ensued was a drawn-out, frustrating experience marked by delays, incompetence, and unresponsiveness.Initially, Imperial Pools took two months to address the issue, with numerous follow-ups from my side. They removed my functioning pump and quoted me a price for a new one. However, when they finally installed the new pump in July, they sent a junior technician who installed a non-functioning pump, leaving my hot tub in worse condition than before. They promised to send a senior technician to fix the issue but never did.Throughout this ordeal, communication with Imperial Pools was a nightmare. Emails went unanswered, and I had to constantly chase them for updates on when my hot tub would be fixed. When they finally did respond, they provided vague or misleading information, making it impossible for me to plan around their service visits.After I opened a chargeback with my bank, Imperial Pools continued to make false claims and refused to take responsibility for the non-functioning pump and the poor service they provided. They even alleged new issues with my hot tub that they had never previously mentioned or addressed, clearly trying to deflect blame and avoid accountability.In addition to their unprofessionalism, I was also disappointed with the significant discrepancy between the verbally quoted price for the new pump and the actual invoice I received. This lack of transparency further eroded my trust in the company.In summary, my experience with Imperial Pools has been nothing short of terrible. They have taken my money, left my hot tub non-functional, and have shown a complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and transparency. I cannot stress enough how important it is to avoid hiring Imperial Pools for any pool or hot tub services. I contact Imperial Pools because we had a crack in our skimmer. I sent the picture and others and told them we couldn't even fill the pool up because water poured out. They said they would come out and do a full diagnosis of the pool and equipment. I paid upfront almost $500.00. Then they got there and said they couldn't do the diagnosis because of the part being broke. The part I clearly told them about before hand. Now they refuse to give me the money back for the diagnosis. I told them they could keep the money for the drive time and mileage but I wanted the money back for the diagnosis they didnt complete. They refused!!! This is the worst pool company around!

Noel, Zach and Jimmy are terrific and very helpful. I know and TRUST the quality of their work, Noel is truly an “expert” and knows his craft. I’m very grateful to be able to rely on Zach Jimmy and Noel to provide our pool service needs, as well as installation everything went without a hitch.They are not the cheapest in town but they are definitely the *best quality* and if not having reworks or failure are your goal, then use Imperial Pools.

Noel provided the most knowledgeable and professional service we've ever received in over 30 years of having an in-ground hot tub in our enclosed patio. Our old heating unit had stopped working, and he gave us good advice on our options for replacing it. When asked, he also told us about various options for upgrading other components of our spa system. He was never pushy or evasive. He winterized our system efficiently and without the.need for anti-freeze, which might endanger our pets. We were very pleased and recommend Imperial Pools highly.

Noel and his guys are the best pool service company in downstate IL perhaps the entire state. I have used them all and Imperial and Noel are what you are looking for. They know what they are doing and always do a first class excellent job and are genuine and honest. You cannot ask for a better company and persons to take care of your swimming pool needs.

Update: A negative review is a powerful thing. Within 30 minutes of this original review Zach called and replied to the review. I apologize you weren't feeling well. My family and I have also been feeling under the weather so I can relate. My email still works though even when I'm sick. If you're so sick you can't work at all I have a pro tip for you: Automatic out of office reply. "I am currently ill and out of the office without access to email or phone. I will reply as quickly as I can once I return to work. Thank you for your patience and understanding." Then you notify office staff so they can relay the message to any customers that might call in. Communication is key no matter what circumstances arise. Best wishes going forward.This is a joke of a company. Zach doesn't respond to emails or voicemails (seriously, he ghosted me for the last 3 weeks) and apparently he's the only person in the company that can give proposals. The owner is "impossible to track down and get ahold of", according to the lady that answers the phone. Speaking of the lady that answers the phone, she hasn't been trained to help with any issues or to answer any questions.When you're talking about a 6 figure project you would expect significantly better service. If you're in the market for a new pool, I'd highly recommend looking somewhere else.

We have used Imperial Pools on 2 separate occasions to repair our BAJA hot tub who are now out of business. We love the hot tub and are frequent users. On both occasions, Noel Valade at Imperial Pools has provided "above and beyond" quality and timely service. I signed contract for new pool liner installation in March and paid downpayment. They worked two to three days and removed liner then disappeared for seven weeks. Project finally finished five months later. Proposal was given and stated for budgetary purposes and Noel fully expected in writing to have the project come in 3-10% less. Project ended over budget by almost 5.3% with no notice it was over budget until the final bill came. Would not recommend.

Noel responded to our Hayward GoldLine Chlorine Generator's sudden shut down nearly immediately... and on a Saturday. We were leaving the country the next day and having the pool without chlorine for three weeks would've been a green, slimy disaster. I can't recommend Noel and Imperial Pools highly enough. He's knowledgeable, committed, skilled and aims to please. Is he the cheapest kid on the block? No. But from now on I'm trusting the care of my family's pool to no one else. Thanks, Noel!
