I tried out Angel Paws for the first time today. Mind you my fur baby is an 18 month old strong willed Yorkie, what I picked up was an amazing looking calm happy girl! Everyone here is so loving and caring you can feel it when you walked in. Nyx and I have found her new spa.

I have owned several dogs over the years and had them all groomed. Angel Paws has by far exceeded my expectations! The best groomer in champaign!! My Pomeranian always looks great and they are gentle with your dog. I would highly recomend them to anyone who needs grooming. Trustworthy and great groomers.

Both my Dogs look amazing after being bathed and brushed there! The was both of my dogs first time being groomed and I was very happy with the results for both of them. They are super clean and they have them cute bandanas afterwards as well. Very friendly staff and they took great care of my pets.

Website clearly says, and I quote, “all pets (with the exception of snakes) are welcome.” Person on the phone told me they don’t accept bigger dogs. I have a German Shepherd Mix, medium sized dog and they told me they don’t accept dogs that big.

Took our 1yr old Yorkie to Angel Paws while we were in town in November. Dropped him off for grooming and day care. The staff did such an amazing job with him, his hair tangles easily but whatever product they used has kept his hair tangle free and soft in between bushings.We asked for them to only shape and dust him off, paws rounded and face shape kept. He was handed to us just how we like his trim. Couldn't be happier.We've found it so hard to find a groomer we like, and just wish Angel Paws was closer to home! (northern Chicago suburbs) Anytime we're in town, we'll be going back to Angel Paws! Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Want to give a huge shout out to Angel Paws grooming today! I posted on Sunday looking for open groomers since mine was still closed, and they messaged me and told me to give them a call. Called them on Sunday and they were able to get her in TODAY! Didn't have to wait weeks (not anyone's fault I know because of being closed), but my sweet girl looks absolutely beautiful! They did an amazing job! Anyone looking for a spot to take their babes should definitely give them a call!

Nala has been to a few groomers but Angel Paws has done one of the best jobs I have seen so far!!! She looks incredible, and the sanitary shave is perfect for her fluff! I highly recommend!

Grooming: 3-stars. Customer service: 0-stars. There are better-priced, kinder, and more professionally-run groomers throughout the C/U area. Money is better spent elsewhere. I haven't been treated this poorly by a business in a very long time.The groom took 90 minutes longer than expected, and I was not updated about a delay. The owner's response to my frustration about the timing was defensive, blaming of me and my pet, and took no responsibility for her company's delay in service. Who treats their customers this way?Finally, the groom was not done to completion as the fur around the face and neck was not groomed at all.

We took our puppy boy for his first grooming with Angel Paws today and he looked so adorable and he seemed excited and in such a good mood after we picked him up. I purposely took my dog to this groomer because I heard that they were really good with all dogs even ones that are a little wild. My dog isn’t wild but doesn’t like her paws touched so when I got there they told me she wouldn’t let them cut her nails but still charged me the full amount I just decided to pay and not go there again since I can’t get the full service or even a deduction of the price since I wasn’t able to get my dogs nails cut i will have to take her back to the vet and pay extra. The only good thing about this visit is that her fur is soft so she had a nice bath.

I took my mini poodle puppy here for her first grooming session and she had a great time! No issues socializing with the other dogs there and everything was very clean. She came back all clean and trimmed, better than I could've asked for her first grooming session. Would recommend for the quality and price!

My dog was there for over 3 hours and it didn’t even look like her hair was cut. $65 and I’m pretty sure they just gave her a bath and fluffed her and even then I still found dirt on her face once we got home. I remained pleasant though and said thank you, she looks fine… just because I live out of town and needed to pick my daughter up and it had already taken forever. My review is strictly based on the time it took and the actually job done. Everyone was friendly, otherwise.

This is a terrible place to have your dog groomed! I brought my 12 week old puppy in to have a bath and ears cleaned. During the ear cleaning my 12 week old puppy wasn’t cooperating, just excited. The groomer proceeded to tug forcefully on the puppy’s ear in order pull her closer all while the puppy was sitting there whimpering. After that experience I decided to look for a more reputable groomer. However, I recently had to bring my puppy, now 9 months old, back to Angel Paws due to my puppy enjoying some mud earlier. All other groomers in the area were booked full and this was a last resort. Less than a week ago my groomer did a full groom with nail trimming so all I requested from Angel Paws was a bath ONLY, no nail trimming, hair trim, ears cleaning, etc. Needless to say, Angel Paws proceeded to do all of those unwanted services. I don’t know how you can trim a puppy’s nails when they were done less than a week prior… Regardless, my puppy is still traumatized from her first experience at Angel Paws and was still scared to even get close to the entrance of the business the second time. Angel Paws provided terrible quality of service and the communication is lacking. I do NOT recommend Angel Paws to anyone and would suggest to look for a more reputable groomer in the surrounding areas.

I took my cat here for a nail trim just a week or so ago. This place markets itself as grooming for both cats and dogs, so I thought I’d be fine bringing my cat.However, when I arrived, I found probably the least cat friendly environment. There were dogs barking in crates, dogs walking around freely, and all of the services were done out in the open. All the dogs being there were fine with me, I love dogs, but my cat was the most stressed out and terrified I’ve ever seen her! She refused to leave her crate so the lady grooming her had to literally shake her out of it. They also didn’t have any form of harness to hold her in, so they made me hold her while they got trimmed.I fully understand that you can’t help things like this, but I don’t think a place like this should be marketed as friendly to cats.when your sole location to groom the cats is the most traumatizing place for a cat.I will say their prices are great though, only paid $13 for the trim. Pretty good price for my cats lifetime of trauma😂

I have 3 large babies and Deb worked them in on a Saturday. This was my first visit (I had used a mobile groomer until he retired) and they were so patient with my dogs. This made me feel much more relaxed since my boys are very nervous in new places. All 3 look amazing and were very relaxed with the staff. My youngest hates his tail or feet messed with but they took their time and gracefully got him done. I plan on taking my boys back

My husband and I are both attending college and recently took in a senior beagle who we quickly found out has separation anxiety. She cannot stay home alone due to her anxiety, and after looking at the different options for pet daycare in the area, we found Angel Paws. We were happy to find a clean home environment for our dog to stay in while we are in class. When I first considered bringing my dog to Debbie, I was allowed to see where my dog would be staying in the home and leave her for a short trial run to see how she would do. The home is small, but it is well maintained and seems like a safe, secure place for a dog. There are gates sectioning off areas in the home for multiple dogs, and all of the dogs I have seen when dropping off or picking up my own look happy and cared for. The dogs are allowed to spend time in the backyard which is nice as well. We have been taking our dog to Angel Paws for about 7 months now, and Debbie has been great. Price is affordable for us, and we really have no complaints! We had first tried a traditional "doggie daycare" situation at a different facility in town, and were very put off by a strong urine smell, tons of barking, anxious dogs, and little supervision. Angel Paws is a stark comparison to that experience! We will definitely continue to bring our dog to Debbie at Angel Paws.

From the moment I walked in, I knew these were "dog people". Very warm welcome that eased my fears of handing my dog over to a new groomer. I could tell how much they all cared which made all of the difference in the world. I came to pick up my shy dog playing and appearing happy. It made me happy. They did a wonderful job with her cut and handling her obviously. I'll be returning. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I took my little pupper here for about 2 years and I was never disappointed! I was always able to book appointments the week I needed her groomed, which was GREAT as a full-time college student. Since I am a bit specific to how my girl looks I was always able to leave instructions for the groomer and she always looked great! have since stopped using them, but that's only because I have moved out of state. Frankly I wish I could keep using them so I don't have to stress about finding another good groomer for my girl!

I never hesitate to recommend Angel Paws! Have been taking my dogs there for grooming for over a year now. Their new grooming salon is at 900 S Mattis Ave. Debbie can usually get both the dogs in same day which is perfect since my work schedule varies. Claire does the grooming, she remembers them by name and always does a wonderful job!I have a 2 yr old Aussie and 2 yr old Chihuahua, both of which used to fight going to get groomed at the big pet stores but they both love Angel Paws. Their prices are great and I know they're in good hands!
