I live right down the street from this location. The shelves are never restocked with any product. The website says that they have a product I need at my location, and I go there only to get told, "oh the website isn't always true" and I find out that the item I wanted ISN'T there at all.This place really needs to get it together. Save your time and gas and find another place to shop at.UPDATE 7/30/2019I walked into Dollar General and there were so many aisles clogged up with pallets of merchandise, causing a potential fire hazard since people won't be able to get out quickly and safely. In one aisle, there was a stack of boxes that were dangerously close to falling over!!!This is absolutely unacceptable and I've been to much nicer Dollar Generals!

I’m only giving 2 stars because I’ve grown to love a few of the employees but the manager is extremely lazy. She doesn’t care to assist her customers. She rude!! My mother is 70 and she not in good health therefore she may ask for help the manager was as always rude to her which now my mother never wants to return to that store. Then my todays experience reminded me of why I try to avoid going into this store during the day. Her employees treat the customers way better then her and she’s the manager. She could use better training or a replacement because clearly managing retailing is not her thing.

I try to avoid this store during the day if at all possible. Unfortunately, I had to stop in there today and once again the manager here goes out of her way to be rude to me. She has zero customer service skills and I find that very sad considering she is the manager. She treats her employees like dirt and wonders why they have such a high turnover. Today was kind of the straw that broke the camel's back. I will be calling corporate because I shouldn't have to expect to be treated like this. If anyone has had a similar experience with her please leave a review.

I went in to get a couple of bags of candy and was out in less than four minutes. The cashier move every one along nicely. The parking is good. The store is arranged simply. The selections are good. Nice place to shop.

I do not understand why this particular location can not pull it together. The other stores in the area are nothing like this one. this one is always understaffed poorly stocked and when there is stock it fills and blocks the aisles creating a fire hazard they have been called numerous times and told about this but nothing happens there is no policing of the parking lot for trash the lawn company who they've hired doesn't pick up any trash and I Have Personally watched them cut the grass and run over the trash and make it look just horrendous.

Dollar General has a good variety of general merchandise at reasonable prices. Unfortunately, the store is usually cluttered, aisles are often blocked with merchandise being stocked. Checkout is painfully slow, usually only one checker on duty. If there is any error at the register, the manager must be called to make changes. But the manager is often tied up monitoring deliveries and can not come promptly, everything shuts down and you wait. It's all good as long as you are not in a hurry.

Workers were very rude. When I asked one of them a question she didn't respond untill I said "Excuse Me" then her eyes rolled with her head towards me and when I proceeded to "re-ask" my question she answered it (with an attitude) before I was finish speaking, which indicated that I was heard the first time only to be ignored...I apologize to all the workers if I inconvenience them by shopping there "My Bad'!

Bought a pair of boots...didn't realize till right after I bought them and saw the ad sitting there and the shoes were bogo 50% off and I asked the lady if I could get another pair (I never left the store) and she told me no it's too late. I feel like she could have done it I never left how was it to late. Very rude!!

I love this DG. The employees are very friendly and helpful. They always have great prices and usually have alot of clearance items. I got a pair of little girls dandles, tiny shoes, flip flops and a young ladies dandles and flip flops, 3 out fits, socks, 2 bad mitten rackets and the birdie for a total of $23.88 after taxes. They also have winter out fits buy 2 and get one free. Can't beat their prices. Toddlers always mess up their clothes and stain them and since they have cute out fits cheap why not stock up.

It’s Dollar General, you know what to except. However, at this location I ALWAYS have to wait in a long line. Usually the cashier doesn’t have enough change, and last time I went the cashier gave one of my grocery bags to someone else, they ended up replacing the items I didn’t have with me but it was irritating. I only go here if I really need something and because it’s so close to my house.

This store has become the Walmart for many families over the years. your Dollar General employees deserve a pat on the back because you have been working late hours during this outbreak putting ourselves at risk don't think it's going unappreciated as it is very much so

Isles are always filled with carts of merchandise. Can never find anything or get down the isles. Store is not clean nor organized. It's a shame when this store is the only store in caseyville where its easy access to go instead of going to Walmart.

I have nice experience at this dollar store. They have had everything I was looking for. Great savings too. If you are on a budget or just need to get some things fast, then Dollar General is a great store to visit.

I like that it's by my house which is convenient. What I don't like is the store is always trashed and stuff is all over the floor and they have all their stock carts and boxes blocking most the isles where you can't get down them.

Very irritating experience I always wait in line for a long time when I come to this location, the shelves are a mess & today I had to move a truck full of product out of my way to get to what I needed. The store is always an unorganized mess & the clerks seem clueless. I do shop at many locations but this one seems to be the only onr that just can't get it together.

Yes the young lady who was the cashier, was so pleasant an kind, I wish I would have paid attention to her name but as usual the staff there at the Dollar General in Caseyville IL is a wonderful place to shop. It is Horrible. Line going down the isle and off to the side, one cashier. When there was an issue the cashier walked outside got the manager, she came in fixed the register when asked if she was getting on the other register she said NO IM ON BREAK ANOTHER 15 MIN. Been trying to find a product only dollar general has after going to 3 other stores I looked online and was told this location was fully stocked. NOPE. another waste of time and gas and whn I asked the manager y it said they were fully stocked online but nothing on shelf or supposedly in back either I recieved a dumbfounded look and she shook her head no and said sry dont have it and walkd away.

I live nearby and frequent this Dollar General often. The people are very friendly and helpful. The only complaint is that there are always boxes of merchandise laying around; otherwise I would give 5 stars

Has alot of things, but never really stocked fully. Always has items in the way of where customers has to walk by and it is very crowded. Not enough space in the store.

The aisles are over stuffed and difficult to get thru or to things on the shelf, because of rolling racks that are stuffed with things to go on the shelves. . They are understaffed for amount of people who shop there.

Same story as usual-long lines. only 2 people, not properly trained, only one person knew how to do a refund! Stop letting people work when they're not properly trained for the job. And why be Sooo Cheap, hire more PEOPLE!

Its not the best dollar General I've been in by far. The stuff is usually in the aisles and it's usually pretty messy. Getting out is a pain also due to location.
