What a jewel! A lovely farm atmosphere with flowers, goats, chickens intertwined along a brick walking path. And the largest pitchfork! Casey has many “largest of” BTW so the whole little town is worth a stop. The Sunday buffet was sooo goood. All the food was tasty!!! And the peanut butter bars were like eating a Snickers! Staff is friendly and quick and very reasonably priced at $25pp. This is a must do! Just 5 minutes off the interstate. 10 STARS!!!

Old school feel. Kid friendly.Reservations accepted. Plenty of parking.Steaks looked amazing but we went for the fried catfish (at servers recommendation) which did not disappoint! Huge pieces & boneless. Salad bar was also on point.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu.

There is so much good food and lovely walkways (includes the world's largest pitchfork) around the land. Really enjoyed the hot bar (includes soup, salad bar, fresh breads with whipped butters & jam, choice of two entrees and sides). We got both adult and child orders. Restaurant has wonderful historical decorations throughout. Today's hot bar had meatloaf, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans with pork, and sweet corn. The soups were vegetable, chicken tortilla, chili, and burger chowder. Everything was delicious and fresh! I highly recommend the restaurant and location! So much fun!

Richards Farm Restaurant was a lovely respite from road travel. The Soup, Salad and Bread Bar offers so many fresh and delicious choices including potato, 3 bean, broccoli bacon, and pasta salads. The soups today were Veg, Broccoli Cheese, Chili, and Gumbo. They all looked good. We had the Bread Pudding with Bourbon Sauce for dessert and were not disappointed! We're so glad we stopped. We found good food, good service, and a lovely atmosphere. Also, be sure to check out the beautiful gardens with lily pond next door!!Vegetarian options: Excellent Salad Bar

Stopped here on the drive from St. Louis to Cincinnati and had an amazing lunch! All the food on the hot bar was home-cooked country style and delicious! The salad bar was also fantastic with so many options like potato salad, chicken salad, and great soups. We also enjoyed the full bar with bloody marys. Afterwards we went on a nice little walk around the beautiful property and saw the garden, pond, goats, and chickens. We’ll definitely stop here again next time we do this trip.

This restaurant is quaint and beautiful. I loved the small town feel. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Food portions were great and tasted pretty good. Kids menu is available. Their bathrooms here are clean and decorated so pretty as well! They have a garden you can walk thru which was nice. Don't forget to check out the world's largest pitchfork too!

Situated inside a fully restored farm barn this restaurant is wonderful in ambiance, service and taste. Different dining rooms and so many antique knick knacks recreate the atmosphere of family and farming. Our server was excellent; keeping our drinks topped off and serving our food piping hot. Throughout our meal she kept checking on us which I find a pleasant change of pace. Our food was good and tasted excellent.

I had the 14 ounce Ribeye steak with sauteed mushrooms...it was the best steak I've eaten in 20 years! It is so nice to discover a full, old-fashioned salad bar.Definitely a do-over. I just wish I lived closer, or my travel path would take me past here!

I am terribly disappointed in the "Seafood Buffet." For $40, I would at least expect some crab (besides the imitation crab pasta) on it. All it had was shrimp 3 ways, calamari, and the crab pasta. The Mac and Cheese was excellent though. But in my opinion, it was more of a "See Food" buffet. I will most definitely not be returning for that buffet, at least.

Super neat farmhouse restaurant. Fun decorations throughout. The food was excellent. Portions were large. Probably the best pulled pork I've had. Wait staff was attentive and friendly. They have a cute garden right next to the restaurant that you can walk through.

Always good food and service. The Sunday buffets are always good with a wide selection often with ham, catfish, and roast beef. There's a wide variety of desserts for the Sunday buffet. The Saturday hot bar is good, but *always* seems to have the exact same selections: bbq pork, fried catfish, Mac & Cheese, mashed potatoes, and green beans (with bacon in them). The salad bar is also good and does change a bit in its selections as well as the soups (usually 4 choices). They also have fresh bread available with the hot bar.Parking: Never had a problem parking within a 100 feet or so of the door.

I absolutely adored this restaurant! The staff was very friendly and the ambiance could not have been better. What a unique place! I loved how the restaurant was divided into various nooks and crannies. It made it so that you enjoyed privacy and quiet in your own space. Fun decorations and so much to see inside and out. We enjoyed our menu items. I had the chicken strips and fries with house made BBQ sauce. The chicken was so tender. My husband had the day's special of the meatloaf. After eating, we were able to look around the grounds, walking through the garden to see the chickens, goats, rabbits and turkey. A brick sidewalk takes you through a large space with nice grounds and places to sit and take photos. We will definitely be back!

The Pitchfork Burger is fun and actually really delicious! The bun is big and toasted nicely but still soft enough to not get in the way. Darn good green beans, man. I'm telling you. Like really good green beans. There's a garden path you can walk through outside the restaurant. Upstairs there's this big beautiful loft where they do wedding receptions etc. I photographed a wedding once that was held behind the restaurant and it was very pretty. There's a pond back there and everything. Back to the food, my son wanted a specific chicken sandwich that was not on the menu and our server took care to make it happen without making it a big deal. It was pretty awesome.

A very cute barn converted to a restaurant but retains the charm of being a barn. The decorations inside are neat, as is the layout. The staff was very friendly. The food was exceptional, the breading on the cheese curds is some of the best I've ever had, highly recommend trying them! I got the catfish sandwich and found it to be quite good, definitely worth stopping in, I'm sad I don't live anywhere close to come here often

We came in before close and the host said there was plenty of time. We were seated at the absolute furthest table from the door. We ordered the salad and soup because the there were very few options and everything else was so expensive. It was ok. Everything was very sweet. 4 soup options, 2 meat and 2 veggie, but one of the meat options was empty. All the bread was gone and the server seemed put off by us requesting some. When we got our bill it was $10 more than expected. The server said the price on the menu was the lunch price, but the menu does not state that. In fact, it's separated from the lunch menu, so none of us even considered otherwise. The server was unapologetic and was just ready to go home (despite being told there was plenty of time.) We paid a whopping $55 for 3 salads. Overpriced, mediocre restaurant with cool decorations. This place is clearly taking advantage of tourists.

Coming from chicago-we chose this spot to view the eclipse. Such a great experience! You can tell the owners really care about their place and providing the best possible guest experience.Decor is very kitsch—every piece has been thoughtfully curated. Restaurant is a bit dark—so if you have sight issues, plan accordingly. The highlight of this place is the food quality. Not fancy—just “good”. My sons chicken tenders were clearly hand battered breasts on site. And huge portions. The broccoli was “really good” and he wanted to even box up the few left over fries. The salad bar had what you want, and was fresh. The salad bar included the hot bar with more very tasty items—meatloaf, fried chicken, homemade mashed pots, green beans/corn. Just yum. The soups looked great and the bread was homemade. Wow! Only hiccup was seating. I had to tap a server since they were tending to tables seated after us. But really, everything else was great. And the grounds are lovely. We sat in a stunning garden adjacent to the property to watch the elipse. Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved this place, not only the food but the experience. There is a path through the farm gardens and even though it was early in the year so nothing was really blooming it was still gorgeous. Plus goats! And chickens! The food was wonderful and the portions huge. I would say the appetizers were pretty run of the mill selection wise. But I had the pulled pork for dinner which is smoked in site and made with their own BBQ sauce and it was AMAZING.
