Extremely hard to maneuver around "repeatedly" due to supply carts , boxes etc... blocking a lot of aisles and products . Way too over packed and need more steady staff members here.

Probably the worst of the Area Dollar Generals, There are always boxes all over the place and it makes it hard to get through some of the aisles, The place Is usually dirty too which doesn't help anything! The employees are friendly and helpful so there's that but other than that I don't come here as often as I used to!

The one in Carthage Illinois needs better stock people. They are usually out of things I normally bought there. The roll carts are sitting in the isle loaded down with nobody emptying the cart.

Carthage is extremely lucky to have a dollar general. It’s extremely sad that the company itself worries more about numbers then its own employees or customers. There have been quite a few managers that are excellent employees, that have left this job because the company doesn’t allow them enough hours to get done what needs to get done in the store. They demand too Much from their managers being employees, and it seems like they want them to put in off the clock Hours just to get the jobs done and make the store runs smoothly. Everyone in there is always busting their butt you never see them just standing around, yet the store is constantly so packed full of boxes and things in the aisle that you can’t get through or around the Store with a cart. I just wish the company itself would allow for more hours available to the employees so that they can get the store whipped up in the shape and keep it that way. Although this is not the only Dollar General in this area that looks like this. I know they lose a lot of business when they’re supposed to be open at a certain time in the morning and you pull up at one in the afternoon in the store still isn’t open because there’s nobody there to run it. It just leaves a bitter taste in people’s mouth when we have the building and the facility in our area but we can’t even get inside the shop because the company won’t hire enough people to run the store is it needs to be ran.

If they would hire overnight stock employees. This would be an ideal place to shop. The Carthage store is ALWAYS a mess. You can't get down any isle without moving box carts around.

Carthage store was ok staff were helpful but really short of help for checkout and stocking was everywhere truck jusy came in and hard time getting around

I don't go to the Kahoka store because of the extremely rude cashier. Just the one, not all. Not sure how he still has a job working with the public.

The girls at the register was getting no help from the two other workers. There always seems to be racks in the isle with products.
