So unprofessional. The aisles are always cluttered. Boxed on the floor nothing is ever zoned and clean. The women who checked me out was so nasty and rude to me and my daughter. Can’t believe these are the type of people that are employed in retail.

I live across the street so I been going here for seven consistent years, daily. Ya know, nobody survives here longer than 6 months but every single person in that place is extremely friendly, underpaid, and overworked. This place would have a loyal staff if they paid people what they are worth, and that is clear. That’s a corporate problem. But anytime you come here, know somebody’s gonna greet you with a smile. Just know it’s prolly someone new. 🤣😭

Visited the store on 12/04 at 7 pm and the lady that rung me out was probably one of the rudest women I have ever seen in retail.

Great place to shop locally. Store is clean and at all times. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The new store manager is very on top of things. They always have products on the shelfs. When prices are right they correct them with no problems.

I love dollar general but this one is not the greatest. A black female (possibly the manager) is always on her personal cell phone. I walked in she was on it and when I was checking out she was still on it. She didn’t even acknowledge me at the checkout she just checked me out with telling me amount, go ahead with card, etc.. You should not ever be on your personal cell phone while customers are there. This dollar general is always dirty, the isles always have carts of stuff to put away yet no one is around to take care of it. I’m very disappointed in this dollar General. The corporation needs to get involved. Horrible!

The staff is friendly & helpful BUT I can not believe that the freezer doors have been missing handles! I mean, come on! This is difficult for the customers to open the doors! This has been the case for at least 2 years! I can't believe the D. G. can't afford to fix them. That is no way to treat your customers!🙁😕😠

I'm expected to explain what made the place mediocre? Use your imagination: prices are halfway between a convenience store an grocery/dept; aisles randomly not stocked, pretty informal atmosphere. What's the word? Right, dingy...

Friendly staff small parking lot though no handicap accessible entrance or parking and a shopping center SIU credit Union is right across the street it's also not too far from the University it's usually got a little hustle and bustle sometimes there's things scattered in the floor of the most part the employees are very nice and friendly and help you with whatever you need

To many carts in aisles.blocks people from trying to gey to a shelf to get the things the need.your comoany needs to have 2 people stocking shelves & 1 or 2 prople at register. This issue has bern going on for years.Dollar General does't cate what their stores look like or if avperson has to eait in line for a long period of time.why don't they hire fri er ndly people instead of rude lazy people.???

The people in here are the friendliest of any Dollar General store around. They work hard but don't seem to get much help. Alishia the manager is awesome and will go above and beyond to help. The computers usually act up and have issues, this is not the employees fault, they can only work with what they have. Unfortunately a lot of the things that are beyond the employees control hurt them, like having a lot of items not stocked on shelves, being out of stock of a lot of items, and boxes full of merchandise being stacked all over in the isles. Alishia and the other girls work hard but they are understaffed and the equipment is outdated and function poorly

Prices are always decent for the product but they never seem to have rubbing alcohol i know its in supply and demand at the moment seems to me they should order 3 times as much since they can't keep it on the shelves

I've only been to this Dollar Store location a few times, but always have good clearance items. Good staff... Clothes are a little crowded to go through but still a high rating.

I had a digital coupon and it was in my account but it wouldn't pull up on the screen for the cashier. She didn't have a manager in the store so I had to purchase the item full price because she also couldn't take the item off without the manager in the store. This is a problem because if I wanted to remove the item, I couldn't do it because the manager was on a break and not at the store.

If you want to spend a miserable time in a miserable place with miserable people I highly recommend. Spend your miserable 4 quarters here. Dirty with boxes everywhere, too. It's a hazardous place.

Aisles are almost always cluttered, shelves disheveled. I 'd rather drive a few more minutes and go to a better maintained, generally cleaner store.

It's just like any other dg, they are getting more name brand things but the price is not to good but if you don't want to go to Walmart etc then you will pay the extra.

If I could get this place less than a star I would. On the Sunday before the 4th of July they had the swimming aisle tore up. I was yelled at by one of the workers for asking for something out of that aisle. Very poor management.

I like the location of this store but the convenience is canceled out by always long lines with one cashier,while the other employees gualk in the office and never come out and open the other cash register to temporarily help out.

You may have to look a little closer, but you can even find clearance and reduced cost items at the DG

Too much junk in this store. If you need toiletries or hygiene products...its the place to go.
