Attentive and nice staff that answered my questions and made the buying process quick and efficient. I had a great grill buying experience with Angel and delivery was quick. This location was easier to maneuver around the grill area and see all the models.

I don't know what I would do without this Ace Hardware. They have all the things I need that I can't find at Home Depot or Menards. When the Ace Hardware closed down in Dundee, I was upset, but not too upset, since the Ace Hardware in Carpentersville is nearby. It has a great neighborhood feel to it, a pleasant experience.

The corporate slogan says Ace is the place with the helpful hardware folk.At any Ziegler's Ace, this is absolutely true. They seem to live to give great customer service, whether it's an employee with a few grey hairs or a high school kid in their first job.

Good but smaller selection of plumbing parts and friendly staff. Prices keep me from rating higher, these stores are generally more expensive because they are conveniently located.

Rented a Bissel carpet cleaner, and ended up with the carpet stained from the debris that was inside the machine. I spoke to the manager at Ace Hardware in Carpentersville about this, and she said, we don't have anything to do with the machines that Bissel is responsible for cleaning and upkeep.So, in my opinion. Don't rent anything from this store. I won't ever step in this place anymore.

I spent 2 or 3 hours working to put together a lamp i purchased online together and the last step had me stumped and the directions were of no real use. So i headed to Zieglers Ace Hardware in Carpentersville and asked if they could help me figure it out and finish assembling the lamp. Melissa was the employee who assisted me and she was fantastic!! Very pleasant and helpful, she was able to finish getting the lamp together for me in under 5 minutes. This was all with a lamp that i didn't even purchase there! Thank you so much Melissa!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊

I went in to get keys made. Super friendly staff. Will go back for more keys & weed & feed for my yard. The keys are pretty cool. You can personalize them to fit you! Also, it makes your key for that lock easy to identify. Now I don't have to try every key I have to see which one is for that paticular lock & they are the same price as the other keys. A win win!

The bolts section is nice and the prices are great. Sometimes it’s hard to get help on weekends because they are busy. But it’s a great store with a little bit of everything you could need to do repairs.

I love service can call and they will have items at front when in hurry..Great knowledge Main Street Service. Products for local demographics oddly they are only place that has Slender Hot Water Tanks made.for Ranch Homes in Older Part of Carpentersville This Ace is the PLACE....

Outdated. You have to wait forever to get help from an employee and then they are not at all knowledgeable about anything. They don't carry most items you will need. You're better off going to Menards or Home Depot.

It sucked! Called the store to find out if they carried center drill's and they tried to sell me every thing from a gas and charcoal grill to an electric drill and vic bits! Get somebody in there that knows what tools are instead of know nothing part timers. My first call I was hung up on!! I'll try TSC which is a few doors down.
