Had a very good experience here, a friend had recommended that I go here for trading my old Yu-Gi-Oh cards in. I got a great deal and the owner was super nice. Has an awesome store full of comics and POPS all kinds of neat stuff, Definitely worth a look if your in the neighborhood.

Always enjoy going here. Doesn't matter if it's for product or to play magic it's always an enjoyable time. Prices are always fair and their trade in amounts are almost always better than other shops. Staff are always knowledgeable and friendly. If you play commander I recommend you go there on Wednesday or Friday to play.

I came here to get quoted on some Pokémon Cards, and after the guy at the front lowballed me with half of what the cards were worth, he proceeded to tell me I could never come back into the store because I didn’t accept his offer…terrible customer service, especially after I got double the amount he quoted me elsewhere.

Don't ever purchase online with this business. You'll get ghosted with a bogus shipping label and no communication. Maybe the brick and mortar is nice, but anywhere this place is selling online AVOID. They tried to take me for over $200 and I had to open a claim just to get my money back. Zero communication. Even after the claim. It's like they just hope you forget about buying the item. Bizarre.

This place is horrible. They have items for sale on their website that are priced lower than most competitors to draw you into the store. I went to buy a box of mtg commander legends which is priced at $119 on their website. At the store they were selling it for $139. The employee had to call the owner who then told the employee not to sell it to me at the price on the website but to bring it down some, still trying to squeeze every last penny he could. I won’t be giving this place, which clearly doesn’t care about its loyal customers, my business ever again.

I bought some comics from them online, I was very excited to receive them, but after 7 days of nothing being shipped out i tried to message, after 3 days of not hearing any news about why my comics weren't being shipped, I ended up having to go through PayPal to get my money back...it was a horrible experience.

Bill is very friendly and fun to talk to! He works with you on pricing and gives fair trade-in/cash values for cards. The selection is great and the store has a pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend Geek Inc Comics!!

My favorite comic book store in Illinois. Amazing selection of items, including toys, board games, collectibles, and high end comics. Couldn't be happier with the staff either. They also run several conventions. Overall A+.

Gentleman at the desk is really friendly. They had about 50 long boxes or so of back stock (stuff older than a year), as well as the latest. Nice shop, although everything seemed to be fully priced (latest prices on stuff, so no real steals). Would go back.

I went to a tournament event and was a bit ticked. The person running it was also playing in it, not a huge deal. But he and his friend that he hung out with most of the time both had first round byes and ended up in 1st and 2nd place. If you are an employee, you shouldn't get prizes.Overall a little small and I wish they had a policy requiring the customers who spend time there to shower.

We apparently picked a bad time to go, because the place was pretty empty, and we were told the backlog they normally had was at a convention with the owner. But the bigger problem was the air was stale and so full of dust I could not stop sneezing. The sole employee there was friendly but place was still so dusty and empty I just wanted to get out as fast as possible.

Store was a little crowded and the cashier said most of their "good stuff" is currently at a comic con. They still had a nice selection, but it would have been fun to see more games and not just boxes of comics.

Stopped in with my young son and found the proprietor extremely friendly and helpful. The store was clean, well-lit, and well-organized for browsing. We enjoyed our first trip and will be coming back.

Some stuff I saw there was over priced. One comic I saw there for $15 was still cover price when I went to other shops after. Only reason for the 4 star was they at least are nice and help the customer as they did when I asked about that comic and if they had it. They also cooked up some free hot dogs on free comic book day which my friend's brother took one.

Small, messy, and disorganized. I couldn’t even look at the back issues because stuff was piled on top of them. I was in the store looking (at everything I could get to, which wasn’t everything they had) for at least 10 minutes and the person working there never said anything to me until I came up to the register. The store wasn’t busy at the time.
