I shop here a decent amount. Still an OK value, even with inflation. The employees people have always been chill.They installed a self checkout recently, but it feels really cheap and it's clear they aren't trained in managing it. If you're gonna have an employee staring at me the whole time, why can't it still just be a register?

Went here to shop the other day. Started using the self check and the employee Adam told me I wasn't allowed to use it because it wasn't taking cash. The machine was working and there was clearly a sign on it that said cards only. I pointed this out and he told me he didn't know he would have to check with his manager, which he didn't. He came off as a bit of a creeper and was touching his face a lot as he started scanning my stuff. I just said to my self"screw it" and left without buying anything

Been calling over the last month to speak to the manager, Andy. I keep getting an answering machine that says they are busy with other customers. Busy at any given moment for four weeks in a row? Unacceptable. I used to shop here all the time, but I've had it with all of the issues at this location. There are too many to list. I too, wanted to see this store succeed as there are some genuinely lovely employees on top of the sheer convenience and affordable prices. However, the management clearly has no prospect of getting it together.EDIT- Apparently the phone has been broken for the last month. I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt. However, I still feel that a working phone line is something important enough warrant getting a technician or something to fix immediately and not leave go for an entire month.I'm sincerely hoping to see improvements. I do not like leaving reviews like this will certainly up my rating if I see things running a little more smoothly and better consistency is established.

I don't normally write reviews, but had to in this case! This is the nicest Dollar General I have ever been to! So clear and organized and Ida (hope that was her name!) was so nice and friendly! I will definitely be back! :)

The employees are very rude, and are not helpful at all. Trying to coupon to save money while on limited income is something I have to do. Working in customer service, you would think the employee would be helpful and assist the customer. Not in this case. Had 2 issues with same store. Won't be back, my family won't be either.

So this store is close to my house but I have to go somewhere else, because this store doesn't accept more than one coupon (I usually have more than one of the same coupon) and they do give you the look. They told me to come back everyday to use my coupons instead of doing multiple transactions a day. There loss, it's always up to the managers, I go to other stores and they let me use as many as I want. If the manager will be more easy going and let me use all in one day, doing multiple transactions just like other stores do, I would come back again. Other than that, they are friendly, clean and organized.

Been here twice in the last two weeks and both times, they don't honor the price that's advertised in their paper. They always make up an excuse that it doesn't ring up the advertised price and there is nothing they can do...yes there is, override it, but the manager won't.. terrible employer and employees.

I like DG for their prices, but this location, although very close, is PROBLEMATIC and now have had to go elsewhere.-Make excuses for everything-Often close early with no notice (they start at 8 pm by placing all outside items inside the doorway, almost fully blocking the exit and shopping carts to give off the appearance of closing)-Coupons almost never work and employees are clueless as how to resolve the issue.-Never answer the phone- Get answering service 100% of time.-Never keep items in stock despite asking manager, REPETITIVELY.-staff claim that store orders are automated and they cannot order custom amounts of items or keep certain items stocked. (really? What kind of business runs this way?? In my own career, I always kept my best selling products well stocked at all times and was able to special order amounts of my clients favorites. That's literally how retail works!)-Understaffed when unloading new items, boxes littering every aisle with one worker hurrying around unboxing and restocking in a panic. (why not hire/staff more people for shipment days)*a handful of the employees are very sweet, helpful and friendly, however, a couple of them should be relieved of their duties.-DG- pls address and RESOLVE the extensive issues within this store

Went to grab a few things and found a 3-pack of gloves for both kids. Good customer service but could be a little more organized. I don't think it's anyone's fault, the store is just on the smaller side.

Dollar General used to be my favorite dollar store for general purpose items. However the stores in my area have become poorly stocked in selection, and quantity. They are also disorganized and dirty for the most part. Stronger management is certainly needed. I'm honestly pretty disappointed, because I like them and want them to succeed over the other alternatives.

What I like about Dollar Generl is that I can run in and run out. There is very seldom more than one person in front of me in line to check out. There is plenty of parking. The clerks are aleays willing to answer questions or point you in the right direction. They also have good holiday clearance sales.

The new store layout made it bigger for them to bring new items ...im there weekly and you can't beat the pricing for your everyday products or just to run in if you run out of something..staff is friendly and helpful!!!
